The JabraBT800 BTHeadset doesn't work propoerly with my XDA II. I heard it works well wil the XDAIIs. I'm looking for a way to make this heaset work properly on my XDAII. The Jabra only works for ourgoing calls but its worthless for incomming calls. :roll: Any kind soul out there to please help me? Thanks.

I've just bought a Jabra BT800 bluetooth headset in Singapore. I connect the headset with my O2 XDA Mini, but the Caller ID function doesnt work properly.
Jabra BT800 work well if an incoming call that is not in my contacts. It shows the phone number.
But in case of the incoming call is in my contacts, eg: First name="Home", Number="123456789", I only see some unknow characters, yes, it's funny, it's not English or any language of mankind, I dont know exactly what is it? It's not ASCII text for sure.
If I rename from "Home" to "Home12345", it'll shows some unknow characters and "12345".
It's only number can be displayed properly, yes, number only.
But my Jabra BT800 works very well with the SonyE T610 of my friend and my XDA Mini works very well with his HBH-660.
What the hell are going on?
There is problem with my XDA Mini only or all XDA Mini? or BT800?
Somebody has experience about this problem? Pls help me! Any solution?

I'm having the same problem. You can read my today's new post. The thing is that I was so excited to get the BT800 that I forgot to check full compatibility with the Imate. Actually, I found out when I got it, even before turning it on that 2 main features for which I was getting it will not work: Caller ID and Calls list (redial from BT). The problem is with the phone. You can check on Jabra's site that the 2 devices are compatible, but not fully though. I asked todya if there's and upgrade or application for the phone to make it fully functional. You can follow the replies to my post as well. I'm sad too, I paid 190US$ for it.
Please list the brand and model that work with xdaIIs (blue angel)
Bluespoon AX does not work. Alot noises. Unless you hold the xdaIIs very close to it. Not in the pocket !

Works a treat but the person I'm calling says that sometimes there's an echo.. Other then that, no one knows I'm in the Car!

Hi,
I just recived my BT800 today, and it pairs fine with the Hands Free profile, and i can hear things fine through the BT800's speaker... but it doesnt seem to be transmitting voice? at all... ie. like the mic is turned off or somthing?
Anyone got any ideas?
BTW, i've allready updated the firmware, that didnt make any dif to the mic not working

I have the same problem.. can hear loud & proud but no microphone.. although it works on voice calls. Will post a fix if I find one - anybody else got any suggestions?
Just got mine as well. I already upgraded firmware to 0.32. When I paired it with my i-mate Jasjar, it said "Bluetooth Headset" and "Seria Port" - I checked both, not knowing why I'd want the serial port, but thinking that it might be for general speaker and mic use. Still don't know...
New firmware 0.322 didn't seem to help. I could for sure be doing something wrong. I'll do more research and get back to this board.
are u using it with the universal?
i pair my bt800 with the universal and all i see is handsfree option, no serial port.
my problem is that the sounds cut, and i´ve very much noise on my conversations, in special in my talk...
I am the owner of a jabra bt8010 bluetooth headset...This headset has caller id and a built in contact list... These features didn't work on my tilt and it still don't work on my fuze... It works on both of my nokia phones (had to make sure before i posted this)... I can use it as a bluetooth headset and even to listen to musicand that is fine.... Now my problem is that I can't see who is calling or use my contacts from my headset.... If there is a reg tweak or a cab file that can solve this matter please let me know... i have an pama omega sun visor handsfree and it pairs up with the Diamond, but wont transfer calls or "work" at all..
ive tried the handsfree with an sony ericsson and it works perfect, and ive tried my diamond with other handsfree without problem..
is there some way i can modify the BT on my htc to work with this handsfree??
i have isntalled hardgpl so if theres a ROM or CAB or whatever i may be able to work it out!
