Speakerphone mode switch - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to shorten the period of time which is needed to keep the green button pressed in order to change to speakerphone mode.
If such thing is possible then we can turn the green button into a better speakerphone switch.

Problem with HTC 6900 (Vogue)

Pressing the button power illumination from above vanishes and bodies enters into a sleeping mode? Calling on it the call passes and bodies does not react in any way though this button should translates in an economy effort of the battery and at a call or pressing any key to deduce it therefrom. When repeatedly I press on power on seconds 5 the green indicator around the speaker and any reaction joins. It is necessary to reboot it constantly. How to win this problem?
All thanks!

Force screen to dim when on a call?

Sometimes I am using the (front) speaker phone or the caller's voice is loud. In both cases I end up holding the phone away from my ear and the backlighting will not go off. Is there a way to force the backlight off during a call?
the proximity sensor isnt that impressive for me. it doesnt work on when its over your hair. i have a feeling it would be more impressive if i was bald.
I tried pushing the power button during a test call and it seemed to work to turn off the screen but not disconnect the call. Maybe that is all there is to it.

[Q] Screen off until button press with incoming call?

Just wondering if there is a way (or an app) that enables the screen to remain off until the power button is pressed when there is an incoming call? At present I'm using Dialer1 and I often find I've missed a call and the screen has remained on since the time of the call. Obviously this chews through the battery so I'm keen to find some way of either making the screen switch off post-missed call, or require that the power button be pressed to switch the screen on when a call comes in...any help most apreciated!!

[Q] When on speakerphone, disable screen

Hey guys,
When i'm on a call, and on speakerphone, after a minute or so... the phone screen turns off. Is it possible to make it goto standby instead? I prefer to reactive the screen by touching it rather than having to press the power button and then clicking end call.
Anyone know if there's a feature to change this?

Disable vibrate mode when pressing volume up and power

Hi,
Is it possible to disable the transition to vibrate mode when pressing Volume Up and Power ?
thanks
bump, it's annoying to change this every time you take a screenshot
Bump
I would like to know this too, does anyone know how to disable this, because I keep missing calls when the phone goes silent after pressing per and volume up whilst trying to take screenshots, which can easily happen when trying to press volume down and power.
