Hi,
I am using Radio 1.13 on my T-Mobile MDA III and have noticed that when my PDA/Phone is switched on and not in a call if I hold it to my ear I can hear some static kind noise in the ear piece. If I switch the pda off by pressing the button at the top, the static noise goes away is anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks
Msuk

The speakerphone is not very reliable in my Blue Angel... Wel first off, when I upgraded to i-mate ROM 1.40 (and now the same with Radio 1.13.00), the speakerphone volume decreased much. Second, the way to turn it on is annoying. I don't wanna press on the call button for 2 seconds. Anyone knows of a program for that or any solution?
Problem: volume level in MDA III
Hello,
Description of the problem:
During the phone conversation when using the loudspeaking mode, the volume of the sound is considerably lower than while using the same speaker by other applications (tom-Tom or Destinator). It forces me to use headphones while driving a car. But the experience with other aplications shows than it could be heard louder: both amplifier and speaker have such a possibility.
Has anybody faced such a problem. If yes, what is the solution?
Regards
Zdzich
Wow, good point. I never thought of that but you are right.
Did you try pushing up the volume slider whilst in a call? I know it may sound sily, but I have to ask.
Sure.
Definitely a bug with 1.40 ROM and speakerphone...
so far I have yet to see or find a solution...
I did not have this problem with the 1.33 ROM on my SX66.
I have a Siemens SX-66 version of the BlueAngel
ROM 1.33.10 WWE
Radio 1.02.10
ExtROM 1.33.110 WWE
The microphone will pickup but it is so light that others can not hear me. When I record a sound and play it back at full volumn I can here the recording but it is like a whisper and there is more static than the recording. Has anyone encountered this? Does it mean I need a new microphone?
BTW, I have tried the Microphone AGC (both enabled and Disabled). Also if I use a handsfree Mic. my callers hear me fine.
same prob!!!
Did you ever resolve it? I'm having the same exact thing. I'll pay you to help me because I can't find anything that will work!
Dirty
If your unit is couple of years old maybe the mic is dusty/dirty. It does happen, I have taken them apart and the mic is covered with dust whic will lower the input.
I'm having a wierd problem that I could use some help with.
I upgraded to VP3G's 3.6 version of WM6 on my AT&T 8525. Very nice ROM, BTW. When I make a call using my Blueant Supertooth II handsfree speaker, I can hear it ring but the moment the call is picked up, the call goes back to the 8525 earpiece. I can quickly switch by hitting Menu and Turn Hands-free On but I have to devote attention to the device to do so. The entire point of having the speakerphone is to not be as distracted while driving.
Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix?
I have searched the Internet and these forums for a solution and have yet to find one.
TIA!!
Hi all,
My O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis) developed this problem recently... I can't hear any sound at all through the "ear speaker" (<-- sorry, I don't know what the technical term for it is) while making or receiving a call. I can hear sound through the loudspeaker (I assume it's a different speaker) after turning on the speakerphone though.
On the face of it seems to be a hardware problem to me (maybe a loose connection?), but is there any chance it's a software problem? Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?
Would appreciate the experts sharing their valuable knowledge... thanks!
I have same problem...
But no solution yet
I have similar problem but I think it's software. It only happens when I switch phone to vibrate or silent mode. I can see that both volumes (speaker and ear speaker) goes down, but I cannot volume up only ear speaker, because automatically device turns into "Sound on" mode. It's very strange because I have this "feature" only from 2 weeks. I had not this before.
Can anyone give me some solution? Thanks in advance
I have the same problem today. There is no idea on how to solve the problem? Thanks
