Default SMS sent message - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hi guys, I have modded the reg to auto fill the check box for the delivery report but I would like to remove the original "message sent" bubble from my blue angel.. Anybody know the reg and/or settings?
Thanks in adv

HKLM>SOFTWARE>MICROSOFT>INBOX>SVC>SMS>MessageSent
you cant change it to whatever you want.

Hi there, thanks for that! I have changed the value to to "0" but I am still getting the message bubble should I delete the key altogether?

Yeah... there might be a bit of confusion here... I actually want to get rid of the alert bubble altogether, not change the text. Anyway to get rid of it completely via the reg?

Code:
SMS Notification Always On
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
SMSDeliveryNotify = dword:00000001 ->0 if off
Disable SMS Sent Notification
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
"SMSNoSentMsg"= dword:00000001 ->0 if Enable

Settings - personal - Sounds & Dotifications.
On the notifications tab, find Messaging - New Text Message and untick Display message on screen

Great, never would have thought of that. Thx.
does anybody know if there is a hack to disable the popup that appears once a text message is sent? I really want to get rid of it
Thanks
I've found this
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/Settings/SMSNoSentMsg
to disable it but when I get to the Inbox section there is no Settings folder? All I have is SendDriver or Svc folders???
I have an Orbit with WM6 Black&Blue 4.3 ROM

You have to add the Settings key, and the SMSNoSentMsg DWORD.
Brilliant - sorted, thank you!

Text Messaging softkeys after change to WM6

With WM5, the softkeys were
Left softkey: New (text message)
Right softkey: Menu
after upgrading my Cingular 8525 to WM6 it is not that useful:
Left softkey: Delete
Right softkey: Menu
In effect, to create a new message I need to select Menu and then New.
Is it possible to assign New to the left softkey?

Nope, not if your talking about in the messages screen. You can, however, set a soft key on the today screen to New SMS.
this has been a problem since the leak of WM6, search around, can't remember if theres a solution or not because it doesn't bother me that much, most of the time i'm replying to texts.
Take a look here, and here.

Thanks for a quick answer. I have no idea why Microsoft decided that the typical action when going to Text Messages would be to delete a message and not write a new message. You may store hundreds of messages without noticing a dent in the available memory.
How to create a shortcut from the Today screen to New SMS or reassining one of the softkeys to this function?

Use softkey changer (attached). If it gives you the error "missing file tnsms" then drop the attached corresponding file in ur /windows folder.
Kiitos Karhu and thanks mcorrie1121. I will test your solutions.
The SoftKey.cab from the link in Karhu's post is the only thing needed. One item on the list of commands to assign to a softkey on the Today screen is "New SMS". Works perfectly.
If you do not mind one more tap you can also use WM5 New Menu - provides more options than just new SMS.

Does anyone know how to disable the message sent notification?

Can someone please help me disable the message sent notification please. Thank you
Yeah, I would like that too!
I believe this is what your looking for. Some one correct me if I'm wrong
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\Message
Change the key "Enabled" from "1" to "0"
Ok, so I'm correcting myself. That was wrong. Don't do it. It's not what you want.
Try this
I copied this from somewhere...so props to whoever wants to claim them
Remove Sent Message Popup With SMS.
1. Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
2. Create a new folder called: Settings
3. Open the settings folder you created, and add a new entry called SMSNoSentMsg set it as string value, with value of 1
4. Soft reset your device and test it with one SMS, and you will notice that the pop-up informing you that your message is sent doesn't come up.

Windows is "un-checked" for SMS delivery notification but touchflo does anyway

Windows is "un-checked" for SMS delivery notification but touchflo does anyway
So i have done a search and most of the results are talking about hot to have sms delivery notification however i do not want sms delivery notification.
I went to messaging options and the option is un-checked however the touchflo 3d on my t-mobile touch pro 2 gives me one anyway.
Any help on how to disable this?
Thanks

Getting rid of the "Notification Panel"

Ok. I have searched for this and cannot find it.
When I receive - for example - a text message and the icon pops up in the top bar and I click on it...
With the T2, it takes me to the Notification Panel which gives me the battery level and the remaining memory and a message that says I have a text. Duh!
On 6.1 (Fuze), you could disable that through settings>TouchFlo. I cannot find the way to disable that Notifications Panel in 6.5. Is it still possible? Perhaps w/a Reg Edit if not via menu.

There is a utility available to turn Notification Manager on or off - NRG includes it in his ROMs.
Alternatively, there is a Reg edit - find the key HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER\Flags. It should be 0 by default - change it to 4. This stops the HTC notification manager running and restores the default WM functionality.
Cheers,
Jim.
@Ramsfan_Jim - Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.... that stupid notification manager was really ticking me off, and not to mentioned.. it freed up quite a bit of memory.
Again, Thank You!!!
