I am sure that this question wus asked before... but How to 'da hell do I unlock the hidden ROM in my MDAIII???
I am scaning the forum for about four days now, I did read the wiki side... even tried some tools from here....
It's either I don't know how to make them work (none of them comes with help or any kind of info) or I am a complete MORON :? :shock:
...I just want to see & maybe remove some the crap that T-Mobile put inside.
Sorry for the dumb question, but I am realy desperate & demoralized by now.... (swiched from Palm OS a week ago).
It's a cry for Help...

Sorry for late reply... (major PC problems :x )
The tool doesn't remove the SIM LOCK! It opens the EXTENDED ROM, which is hiddem by default.

You need to buy a code for you device IMEI.

Dont know why but did a very stupid upgrade yestoday.I think I used a wrong MaUpgradeUt_noid.exe(XDAII version) to flash the wm6 rom for my imate.!!!
There is no bootloader now even I do a POwer+lighting+Softreset. I did a search on the site .I realized that I might damaged my bootloader . also I know it is hard to find a way to fix it by myself. but I 'm still hope someone do a favour!!!

Hi guys in order to make this work on my diamond Make NEW SoftBank AP setting on ANY Hermes ROM W/O cooking!. I need my Diamond to not be SuperCID... how can I make this happen ?
As for today this works on ALL my devices Hermes (Both Dopod and Softbank) and even my X7510, but not on my Diamond... Can anyone help ?

friend, thats bcoz on newer devices make it SuperCID is quite hard... very hard. So basiclly they just patch a MFG bootloader and bypass CID check. So you never think in superCID and that thing...
@ everyone that thinks by answering with a **** or IDIOT or ASSHOLE in their posts is a cool reason: you think u're smart bcoz working on a Diamond is cool? remember, when u start, u dont know everything that u know today. So, pls understand... Is a newbie diamond user, as everyone here.

i stepped on my polaris, and need to send it to hong kong for repair. so i got a x04ht (diamond) today. i guess you are looking for working wifiwake.exe. i will patch it myself tonight (i have done it for polaris myself) will upload it here for you when i am done.

Err ... SuperCID means to write region info. And that one either by patching SPL or by security unlocking the device.
The latter one needs MFG bootloader and a patched radio to write the right flag into region info.
I'm missing the reversing spirit over here ... swear words won't help anybody.
As I do not know what this "Softbank AP" is, I might not be able to help at all.
But considering theory, I'm quite sure once the dev is security unlocked it will work.

i cannot guarantee that this would work on x05ht since device id and cid could be different.

This is my 1st post but been watching this forum for a while now. You guys are awesome in your field and liking. I am kinda noobie in this. Needed a lil help and am sure I would get it soon. I purchased HTC Diamond y`day and it seems that it was locked by Airtel. My phone has been unlocked and its working perfectly fine. Help I need is with below
1. How can I change the home screen left, right buttons. Left says "PHONE" and right says "AIRTEL LIVE"
2. How can I change the startup wallpaper which shows a huge Airtel logo when i boot my phone up.

1. Try Diamond Tweak. Install it on the Touch Diamond and run the program. Left softkey is under 14.4 and the right softkey is under 14.5.
2. Is this what you mean?
Guess you've should update to hard-SPL. Follow this tutorial to get it working. Only do this when you understand the risks.

Today morning I tried to install Duttys but it didnt get installed. Error 262. Tried researching and it seems that the connection with active sync is getting disconnected and thus the update doesnt work. Will check the links u have provided.

Hey .. Installed 1.38 Olinex .. Phone seems to be superfast then before .. Tweaks helped a lot .. Just spending time with the phone these days after work .. Mail for Exchange is also working good .. When I click contacts, its taking me to company directory .. Weird .. So looking around for some solution .. Am sure will find it around here ..

Hey Shroomz, looks like you have one of the previously Airtel branded but now officially unlocked phones.
Did you run any hard spl before running the diamond tweak which got rid of "Airtel live" from home screen ? Thanks.
