Ive had tt3 sat nav for about a year. Recently I accidentally master reset my xda1. After reinstalling tt3 it is either very slow to load or does not load at all untill after a soft reset, then its back to being very slow. Untill the master reset all was ok, now Ive tried master resetting it a few times but still no joy!! Any help? the xda works at normal speed at all other functions & Ive changed the sd card.
I had that trouble myself. It seems that although a hard reset occurred it still held all the info...
Instead I installed the upto date ROM which wiped everything clean. Installed tt3 again and off I went
Remember to turn off Beam under the settins/connections option

My phone is rooted and running aokp rom, its been working fine with the same rom (including updates) until last night i was on the phone hung up, then a few seconds later the screen just stopped registering my touches, nothing i touched on the screen worked at all, the weird thing is that everything is working i can get calls and texts everything on the phone is working fine except the screen not registering when i touch it, i tried doing a factory reset, reinstalled the rom, wiped everything, nothing my last resort right now is im about to restore it to the stock touchwiz that it came with, if that doesnt work anybody know what i should do? or how can i get it the phone "ready" to send it back to sprint =P
My wife's phone is having issues with the capacitive menu button.
It doesn't matter what ROM is installed, it will work for a little while and then it stops working completely.
What I have done already:
Wipe in cache and davlik cache in TWRP.
-No change
Wipe/Factory reset in TWRP
-Works for a little while and then stops
(nothing crazy installed, can't find anything that would be disabling it)
Flash different ROM
-Works for a little while and then stops
(nothing crazy installed, can't find anything that would be disabling it)
This began about 2 months ago and she just lives with it. I cannot, too many things she does not have access to without it.
Any ideas? If not, I may just bring it to sprint and see if there is a physical issue with it. Strange that it works for a little while though.
We both had the same phone for a while, just upgraded mine, but she does not have anything installed that was different from mine or different from what she used for the first few months of owning it. Everything was working fine for a while.
Thanks for the help.
So, I was running Kyubi ROM and loving it, but I thought I would try another ROM. For some reason it would not load, so I restored my last back up of Kyubi. Now, I dont have GPS any more. I have done a Factory Rest and reloaded Kyubi. I have tried a fresh install. I have tried another SIM.
I have run GPS Status and tried deleting and reloading GPS data. Nothing
Any thoughts?
Thanks
UPDATE: I turned off Allow Mock Locations(not sure how it got turned on) and my GPS seems to be working again.
Good day!
Has anyone noticed that their HTC 10 has suddenly become laggy after updating to the latest firmware? I'm on stock. Everything was working fine until I updated. After a day or two of use, the phone became laggy/"stutter-y" to the point if unresponsive. I haven't performed any hard reset yet as I don't want to reinstall a ton of apps and restore their settings. :crying:
I just reset the device to regain control of the phone.
I observed same behavior too
I've just wiped the cache partition. I'll keep you updated.
After side loading the March update and unfortunately losing everything on my internal storage, my own fault, I got the phone back up and working normal. Everything was working normal. Rooted and recovery installed. Went to bed and woke up to the phone boot looping. Restarted it and noticed it was factory reset. My messages, recent calls, chrome tabs etc... All reset.
I'm assuming that the only way to sync your data is on the setup screen when you first set a phone up. Is the another way? Why did the phone do this? Everything was fine. Never had this happen before.

It will initiate a factory reset if the device/slot is corrupt
