____________________________________________________________
C:\xda\1>pnewbootloader bootloader_v5_15.nd0
‘C:\xda\1\pput.exe’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,
Operable program or batch file.

insted of the example you mentioned, can you help me out ?
Thank you in advance!!
Don't know if your folder-name is your problem, or not. First ensure, that the pput.exe is in this folder you're calling the pnewbootloader command. If this is the case, than the problem is the name of your folder. Just rename it in DOS-conform name like just XDA or something else...
Stefan
The file you mention "pput.exe" is not on the tools, where can i get this file?
Thank you!!
Here it comes....
That helped me a lot!!
Thank you sir!!

Hi:
I am not a developer, but have a few questions regarding installing the lastest ATT WM2003. I have a Siemnes SX56. I used the XDA-Developer's edition to unlock the device - so thats what is installed now. I would like to install the WM2003 instead.
Here is what I have now:
ROM: 3.17.03 ENG
ROM Date: 05/15/03
Radio Version: A.33.02
Protocol Version: 1.3.3
Is there is any special procedure to do this, or I can just flash the WM2003 that I have downloaded from ATT's website? You can email me directly at [email protected]
Thanks for any help in advance.
Dave
please read thr the forum, all answers are there!
The only thing you've got to know is don't use the .exe method, use the .nb1 method with the SD card method. All the info is available in thousands of posts.
If you're installing an official ROM including a radio upgrade you need to use the .EXE method or the radio upgrade won't go in. The SD method doesn't update the radio.
I'd be more willing to do the .EXE method for an unadulterated ROM from AT&T than a cooked ROM, but that's just my opinion
Installing ATT WM2003
Thanks to everyone's responses, and special thanks to Nerrdo for taking the time to write up the details. I have successfully installed WM2003 using the .NBF file method.
With the new OSImage Tool you really do not need to use the SD method anymore. You can do it directly through ActiveSync as long as you have the .NBF file somewhere on your hard drive.
Thanks to everyone again! I am enjoying my WM2003!

I have copied across the dowloaded file
from my pc to the xda2. I have a message which says - xda2unlock-setup-v2.2 is not a valid pocket pc application.
I assume that I am doing the wrong thing.
I am technically ignorant and would appreciate any advise please assume a lack of any basic knowledge.
The unit is locked to O2 And I wish to use my vodafone sim. I have just bought the unit and have never had a connection.

Hi All
I am new to this forum, I would like some help if at all possible with an xda 1. It is locked to 02 and needs something called a sid code?, I have read some posts on this forum and they do offer ways to unlock the code. But as I am very new to computers and also ppc's I am finding it hard to understand what I need to do, if anyone could send me simple to follow step by step instructions for a computer dummy that would be great. From the forums that I have read I am very worried that I will make my ppc un-useable, wipe it clean or make it die totally. Can anyone offer any help at all.
Information that is on the xda 1,
Rom version: 3.17.03 ENG
Rom date: 05/15/03
Radio version: 4.20.00
Protocal Version: 32S54
Model No: PW10A1
Best regards, atmitch
Should be aesy in your case....
1. Download http://wiki.xda-developers.com/uploads/XDAunlock.exe
2. Copy file to your xda
3. Run the xdaunlock file on your xda.
This should be all to unlock it.....

Question: it's normal that a lot of fields are empty? IPL and SPL especially?
I'm sure to have a "G3" even if IPL is empty?
...and someother generic question:
ROMS are all interchangeable? If i want to try another wm6 rom, can i reflash?
ROMS contains all languages, or if i want to retain ITALIAN i have to search for an italian ROM?
Thanks very much!
you can reflash as many times as you want and languaje can be anyone you like
<Good luck,

Thanks but the real question is why wizard utility dont show a lot of information: if there is something "strange" or locked on my device, i can get unpredictable results going ahead with reflashing procedure... i think.
I have the same problem with my Universal.
I flashed it with Tomal's 8.2 without trying Wizard service tool, 'cause Uni arrived me with wm6.0, so I thought it was unlocked.
Now I'm going to flash a friend of mine original G3, and looking for how to unlock it, I found some apps that I tried on mine.
The message I receive on Wizard Service Tools is similar to yours, also when I check CID it says that the cheksum is incorrect:
-----------------------------------------
Decrypted stored sum: 2020202020202020
Decrypted calcd sum: CB2C31FAACFE5801
Checksums did NOT match!!
Could not determine a key index to decrypt it.
Your CID block must be corrupted or file isn't
from a valid CID dump!!
Aborting operation.
-----------------------------------------
Question is: may I use this program to superCID the G3 Uni?
