I've got the spanish rom XDA II, which has a bug that gives zillions of problems when using BT headsets. I want to upgrade to an english ROM, not necessarily the WM2003SE, simply my Windows 2003 edition, but english ROM.
This is what my XDAII has:
Microsoft pocket pc 4.20.0 (compilation 14053)
ROM 1.72.03 ESN
ROM date: 03/15/04
Mobile: 1.10.00
Proto: 1337.18
ExtRom: 1.72.102

why not just go to o2's english site and take their latest WWE rom ?
this site dont really store different roms
thats best left to the operators

hi sanden, I have a xda2i with the following specs
ROM version 1.10.00 WWE
ROM date 12/24/04
radio version 1.00.00
protocol version 1337.39
ExtRom 1.10.124 WWE
At the moment there are no updates for the XDA2i but there is rumours of one in the pipelines... if its true or not remains to be seen but we can only hope, I hoped that helped.....

It sounds like you have a higher ROM version than the O2 UK XDA2i Sanden.
Mine is
ROM version 1.11.00 WWE
ROM date 01/27/05
Radio Version 1.03.00
Protocol Version 1337.42
ExtROM Version 1.11.144 WWE
but that's cos I'm using the iMate 1.11 upgrade ROM on it.

Anton.Valleyman how did you use the iMate 1.11 upgrade ROM on your xda21 I couldnt get mine to update, any words of advice

I didn't get an error running maupgradeut_noid.exe, it worked first time.

you upgraded you're 2i on the( pda2k) i-mate rom.
i would like to know a few things.
is the camera quality improved?
does it still have the wm player 10?
and does it still have the zip
software?
and does the bluetooth work perfectly?
cus blue angle had lot of crackling in the bluetooth.
please share you're experience with us about the upgrade.

Living in Vietnam, I have just upgrade my ROMS to as follows:
ROM 1.11.00 wwe
date 03/14/05
Radio 1.11.00
protocol 1337.42
ExtROM 1.03.166 wwe
however now I get Thai words in the owner info / screen align and actually O2 have new upgrade from May 2005 as follows:
ROM 1.11.00 wwe
Radio 1.11.00
ExtROM 1.11.922
MMS 2.0.0.22
Should I have the upgrade redone or just leave as is everything works ok except for the Thai issues ??

I for but or except a month it buys a mini Xda S by ebay to a person of Germany, everything venia in German and the truth is that pda was quite fast, despues of days toqueteando consegui to understand it and to handle to me to enough good. I what I want to know and to see if somebody me can throw a good cable it is like I can update the ROM (the 2,18 Spanish) and that it does not say to me that if problem with so and problem with as.... since directly of exe that I lower of the FTP of xda developers to me to not it lets me update, and of the pagina of Xda, "http://xda.o2.co.uk/xdaMiniSoftwareDownload.aspx" is version in no Spanish. Many forum posts talk about a radio version 1.04. I searched it, but I haven't found it. Could anybody tell me where I can find it and if it is better than the 1.03 version?
I read about WM5 and WM6. I don't know anything about mobile operative system, only I understand that WM5 wasn't a legal copy so it was deleted from the server.
Could you tell me what are the best OS version suitable for qtek 2020i, where can I find it (if possible) and how can I install it?

In the FTP server seems that all links are removed.
In Buzzdev.net there aren't Alpine ROMs

I would like to perform a ROM update on my QTEK 9000 with:
wm 5.0 (os 5.1.70 (Build 14409.1.1.2)
rom version: 1.20.37 WWE
ROM date 12/04/05
Radio version 1.06.00
Protocol ver: 42.40.P8
ExtROM ver: 1.20.129 WWE
I think it's a polish? version of Qtek, because at start it shows Era logo and also have Era logo on the top.
I don't know if it's important. Anyway wm is in english. I would like to make it faster if it's possible. I read a little, found rom comparision, but there is a lot of them to choose from. Which will be the best for my device ??

EDIT: I found: THING WM6.1 21127 v2.32 2010-05-04 RealVGA FKB SRS (showthread.php?t=643243) interesting. Is this rom fits to my Universal ??
