Notification Problem in TF3D threaded msg

Hi guys,
I am having a problem with the notification system.
Lets say a person Name "A" sent me a sms, the phone will ring and the light blinks if i did not attend to it.
However the problem starts whenever I replied "A" but left the phone in the TF3D threaded msg screen with "A". After sometime the phone goes to standby. But when "A" replies my msg again, they phone only vibrates and does not ring. The Yellow Led does not blink as well.
I am currently using a stock ROM and i am not sure if you guys experience this as well.
This is Rather annoying as most of the time after replying a person's sms, i would just hit the standby button straight away without bother exiting the threaded sms screen. But if i do that, the next sms that comes in from the same person will not ring or trigger the LED.
I am not sure if this problem has been posted and fix, but after many days of searching i cant seem to find a solution for it.
Help Pls!
i dont know wither it is a problem, ... but my guessing is that if you left the threaded SMS open, than the rom will interpret it as if you saw the SMS (because you are already opening the conversation)
hi thanks for the reply, i have been guessing the same thing. However this is still a problem as it did not happen in the windows threaded msg screen, it ONLY happens in the new TF3D threaded msg screen.
Can any1 help??

[Q] Repeating E-Mail-Notification for the same mail until it is read...?!

Hi there,
just did a quick search in these forums an didn't find a similar problem or an answer, so here's my problem / question:
On my Desire (official FroYo, not rooted or anything like that) i've set up my e-mail account (not googlemail) in the stock e-mail-app.
It's the german e-mail-provider web.de, and as i'm a paying customer there i get full IMAP access. (but just to mention it, the problem still occurs when using POP3, but i'm using IMAP on my phone anyway ).
I've set up the phone to check for mails every 5 minutes, and in this case everything works just fine.
Usually it works this way:
I receive a new e-mail, it plays the notification sound and LED is blinking. fine so far.
I open the mail, notifications disappear. Just like it's meant to be.
Now the other case, where i'm not capable of instantly opening the newly received mail:
I receive a new e-mail, it plays the notification sound and LED is blinking. fine so far.
Now i don't open the mail / react to the notification, after five minutes, when the phone checks for new mails like set up in the options, it plays the notification sound again. And five minutes later, again. And again. And so on...
Just to mention: This happens if i don't receive any more new emails, just the one.
So, my phone thinks it has received a new email, even if it has already checked for exactly that mail and as a consequence, tries to notify me. Which gets really annoying, if e.g. i'm sleeping at night and it starts making noise every five minutes.
Just an example, i know i could turn it silent but there are situations where this isn't possible...
When i'm using the Desire as a GPS-Navigation device while driving in my car, it gets really annoying. Pulling down the notification bar, clicking on the notification, opening and closing the email just to mark it as read, so that it won't play the notification any more is quiet tricky while driving...
So, is there any fix to this, without disabling the general sound-notification for new emails? I'd just like to hear (or not hear, if i'm not near the device) the Sound ONCE. And only again, if i receive any NEW emails, but not every five minutes for the same one until i open it...
yes i get the repeat email alert if i don't look at it.
would like an option to disable or set a time like every hour?
also i have this prob with getting text message for every email but i can see the email in the text too!!

[Q] Disable auto sms on call reject

Hi! I hope this is the right place to ask. It may sound stupid but I just cannot turn off the auto sms feature on HTC Wildfire S. An automated sms is sent while the phone is in the locked state.
It shouldn't do that, but I know when I was using the WFS and I would drag the red dismiss/decline button to the lock ring I would sometimes then have to tap end call. I had voice mail turned off so maybe it was trying to send a message? It didn't seem to use minutes.
Did you know that when the phone is ringing there's a menu that is only available at that time, whether you're locked or unlocked when it rings...just tap the menu button on the bottom and you can mute the ring and let it ring through to voice mail. Curiously this is where I thought one had to go to send the SMS message, which I used to do when I was low on minutes...I set my message to say I was low and please text or email me...still after it sent the SMS I'd have to then tap on end call. Anyway, check what's in that menu, and if it still sends the SMS if you simply select decline from that menu. My other thought would be to press the power button twice to reject the call and see if it still sends the SMS. One last suggestion would be, in call settings, select to edit message before sending and when it wants to send the SMS and opens for editing, maybe cancel it, or set it to send blank if you're worried more about what you're saying than minutes?
