Hi Guys,
Just changed to the XDA2s from the XDA2, and i've got real problems getting my TomTom GPS to work. All set up fine on the standard 2, but it just won't work with the XDA2s. Does anyone know how to get it linked!!
Cheers
James
I don't know if this'll help so sorry if this isn't relevant, but I'm using a Navman GPS with the Tom Tom software, which although is different hardware does work ok.
I just have mine set to: "TomTom Wireless GPS" and in the second box "Bluetooth Serial Port 6". The first time you try to connect it asks which Bluetooth device to link com 6 to and after that I work just fine.
Hope that helps somehow!
Cheers, that worked perfectly!
Hi all. I need to use my car stereo (becker trafficpro) bluetooth capability with the xda 2. I can use it fine with my wife's motorola phone but when i link up the xda, the becker says handsfree connection not possible.
I've tried two different rom upgrades but not had any luck.
Is there any way to make an xda2 work with bluetooth handsfree?
If not, does the XDA 2s or i acheive it?
Thanks in advance!
Ajit.
PS am in UK if that makes any difference
almost...
I have the indianapolis pro and I can attach the MDAII with the becker.
To realise this I had to install Bluetooth tools 1.1.
But stlll I can't connect het headset.
If you do let me know if it works the way it should
I'm still having problems using my qtek 9090 on my 3 series BMW with a original BT carkit...
If yours works fine, please let me know wich software is on your PDA and which type of BMW you drive..
I have the following problem... The only way it works is; when I first swich on my car (so also the carkit) and then I activate the bt function on the pda. I also have a solution. That the bt function on my pda is off when the pda is off, but nobody can tell me how this is possible.
Thanks
I can use it as a dumb carkit but it does not sync the addressbook or the SMS
I have a Qtek9100 WM5.0 os 5.1.70 (Build 14420.1.1.0) ROM 1.1.7.5, radio version 01.01.10 and the car is an X3 330D
I found on several forums that you need to be at a higher version.
so if anyone knows how to only upgrade the Bluetooth or a sollution for us
help me
I have a Imate Jas-Jar windows mobile 2005. A new version of GPS Nav-N-Go was released for WM 2005 I installed it and it doesn't work! It doesn't recognize my GPS on the Parrot CK3300.
I talked with the Nav-N-Go developers and they told me that the Nav-N-Go works with 9 GPS antenna's. It seems to me that the problem is in the definition of a communication "COM port".
Please help me to solve this problem. Is there a way to define a "COM port" for GPS in the CK3300

JasJar & TomTom5 using a Parrot 3300 for GPS & Phone
I also have a Jas Jar badged as an Orange SPVM5000 and have similar problems. I am not a techie by any meands but I do not think the problem is with the Parrot 3300.
The Bluetooth pairing connects Parrot and Phone.
Setting the com port is identifying where the incoming gps signal is made of available on the phone.
TomTom5 is the sat nav software I use and it seems only to work by connecting to certain com ports. Unfortunatley, the phone does not like assigning the connection to this port.
Elsewhere on this site there are instructions which allowed me to pair the phone with another GPS BT reciever I use when out and about.
The same procedure will not work with pasiring the parrot.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can pair with the Parrot to get the phone and gps working?
You may find some answers here -- worth a try, anyway.

Hi All,
I've got a Dopod C730, I'm loving the device except for some problems I'm having with bluetooth devices. I've recently bought a Jabra BT320s Stereo bluetooth headset and a iBT-GPS bluetooth GPS receiver.
I can pair these devices with my phone, but on the Jabra I can't see the stereo profile and I can't see how to set up the com-port for the GPS, I'd particularly like to use it with Google Maps
Anny help would be appreciated

That'll teach me not to search. This was just what I was looking for
Now I just need to workout what's happening with my headset.
Anyone else got a Jabra BT320s?
I do -- it works well with my T-Mobile Dash, but it's got completely different innards than a Cavalier.
