Please help with BuildOS

Dear Sir,
After I finished cooking my rom I wanted to use BuildOS.exe
And when it finishes it says:
Error Building user.hv and default.hv...
What can I do please?????????

try the new-*.rgu and report please. You must rename.
Many items were twice, the file is now much smaller.

P3600 and P3600i are the similar. The one with the "i" only got more CPU Power (500Mhz?) and 256MB ROM Storage.
So remove the "i" on your useragent or change it how shym said and be happy.

how is the 500 mhz samsung cpu on 3600i ?
is it good similar 400 mhz samsung ?

Yah, it's a little faster with launching of apps. Downloading on AT&T is great, wish I had 3600 side by side to compare actual data speeds with the 3600i. They are both great with this aspect and probably not much if any diff.

[SOLVED] Help: Hard-SPL installation on DIAM300

I've read many threads about this issue without success.
My device is an O2 XDA Diamond (DIAM300).
I have test it with Olinex HardSPL 1.40, 1.93. I hvae test it in tricolor-mode.
SSPL bevor HardSPL just makes an softreset.
Has anybody the same diam-model, and had success in installation HARDSPL?

Is there nobody out there, who had the same problem????

i had some connection problems with the same DIAM300 at first, but it may have just been
down to pressing the wrong button.

[SOLVED] Hard-SPL on DIAM300 (+newest original HTC-ROM)
In that while, nobody could help me, i've got it !
1. I download "diamond-hspl-1.23-and-1.24"

2. I download "Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex" (Signed may also work, what's the difference?)

3. I connect the diamond with the pc (activesync-connection)
4. I start "diamond-sspl.bat" from "diamond-hspl-1.23-and-1.24"-package, the diamond goes in black screen, the usb-connection shortly disconnects and connect back again
5. I start "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" from the "Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex"-package (diamond is still in black screen an connected=> usb)
6. Now the update-procedure runs throu

However the update to the newest HTC-Rom for the diamond from www.htc.com does not work (Error: Fehler [244]: ungültige Modell-ID)
1. I download a modified version from here (only german):

But if I start the "DiamondCustomRUU.exe" in that package, an error occures (something wrong with this exe).
2. Now I copy the "RUU_signed.nbh" from that package into the folder from the "Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex" (rename the existing one first).
3. I set my phone in tricolor-mode (softreset + volume-low-button), start the "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" from the "Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex"-folder with the HTC-ROM inside and it works!!!
Hope I can help someone with that ... it is possible that that instruction is not complete, cause i wrote it out of my mind

I've work only on italian, french and english rom, but is available also Dutch, german and spanish languages.

this message is normal..to set spanish language you must click on "diamond" under "device"..when you click on it the program load all of languages and packages..try it!!

Always the same error message (i´ve done your recommendations).
I´ve tried with GenY kitchen and Ormet but always the same end.

What ROM base (OEM Driver version) do you use in your kitchen? If you don't know exactly, maybe you can tell where you get the OEM driver from, maybe fronm L3v5y's or Gen.Y kitchen?

What do I do with the warning? and how can I repack the new zImage with the initframs extracted from the stock kernel.

I have to say Ktoonez, I love your work, but where do you start building kernels for android?, ive been meaning to compile one for my NVidia shield for everyone to use, but I don't know where to start, also all the whole thread is dead in terms of development which is sad.

Im already a developer for work so I already knew "C" code, all I did was search internet and follow github to see how it all worked. :good:
