I have recently purchased my new XDA2s from O2. Love it. I had an XDA 2 before this and managed to do the ROM upgrades on that no problem. Have scoured the forum but can't seem to find how to upgrade my radio to 1.06.02.for the XDA2s, yet it seems lots of you have it.
A friend of mine has the Orange MPV2000 with Radio 1.06.02 and my bluetooth headset works on his, but won't work on mine.
Please can some kind person either tell me how I do this upgrade (step by step if poss) or point me in the right direction?

The update site you sent doesn't have a radio version 1.06.02 for O2. Does that mean it's not available for the O2 units or can I get the radio bit from another ROM?

Hi All,
I am a newbie with Radio upgrade. I recently bought a O2 XDA IIs which I believe is Asia version and I am using it here in Australia.
I have problem with my mobile connection (sometimes it drops out for no reason), will radio upgrade will help to stablise the connection?
My current radio version is 1.02.00 and the extRom is 1.31.920.
Can I upgrade the Radio ROM to v1.08.00? has anyone test the ROM before? if not which Radio version should I update?

I always go for the latest update that I know is compatible with my config.
In your case, I would try the 1.08.00...read the thread and have a ROM backup ready, just in case.

I hope some of you can help me out. I'm currently running a non english rom on my qtek 9090 and want to update it to an english one.
I'd like this to be as painless as possible. I also dont want any operator specific roms, just something generic with latest bluetooth and radio stack.
any suggestions as to what I should use?
imate 1.40 & radio 1.13 is what I'm using on my O2 XDA2s - works well for me

Hello All,
Just upgraded my XDA ROM using the O2 download. Current setting is:
ROM 1.11.00 WWE
Radio 1.00.00
Protocol: 1337.39
ExtROM 1.11.171 WWE
All went well but now when I receive a call the phone rings, I answer but I can't hear the caller nor can he/she hear me. Anyone come across this problem? Appreciate your help to resolve.

Dear All,
I have owned 3-4 HTC phones overall all with O2. My latest is the Exec. I have nowed emigrated from the UK to NZ and although I have paid O2 to unlock my phones, 6 weeks later they still are not. I have to say O2 absolutely suck with their service. They are no longer even responding to my emails.
I have even gone to "unlockitnow" and still been unsuccessful. I'm now stuck with an Exec in New Zealand and can't use it. To top it off the unlockitnow programme seems to be the same one available on here.
My phone details are below and as a "green" user I think the problem lies with the model number PU10. Can anyone help me unlock my phone?

According to the wiki, the Portuguese version of windows mobile 6 came with radio 1.48.00.10
My advice would be to try that out first. Boa sorte!

Sorry for my bad enlish .I got T-mobile varioo 2 from UK. but i live in Pakistan so here i dont know which radio version is best for me can any one plz help as there is no official release for any rom here in our country . Thanks in Advance.
