My friend have this O2 XDA neo

rom 2.15.4.29 ger
rom date 3/9/06
protokol 4.1.13.9
Windows mobile 5.0 5.1.195 but it is on german language
just want to know how to switch this to english version, I read a lot of topics and I confused little
Can I use this RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe to update this to english version

Depending on the region lock, you may need to 'hack' the region and unlock the phone, then procure an english ROM and reflash the device. I'm sure you can find the details in the Prophet forums.

Is the RUU_Cavalier_DOPODASIA_CHT_1.16.708.7_1.43.50.00_108_Ship.exe english? I am not able to upgrade...the one I picked up in Spore ... Any help appreciated.

First, all Dopod versions of Cavalier are bilingual (chinees and english), you can change language in settings.
The Dopod ROM on WIKI is a Hong Kong ROM.

I have a 1.16.707.7 English ROM while the HK Rom is 1.16.708.7. But it fails to upgrade with an invalid vendor id error(Error 294). Few folks at HO FO is using the 1.16.708.7 without any issues. wonder how....

Yes, I,m using that ROM too but forgot to change the signature.
I have a question, do you have a HTC S630, Dopod C730 or the Softbank version? Can you tell me your phone specs from device information. FYI there is no "free" CID unlock for Cavalier right now and you could brick your device if you flash the wrong ROM.

Did you register your phone on Dopod (HTC Asia) Singapore. If not, try that and check if the rom for Singapore has the same numbers.

Already registered. The only ROM available is the RUU_Cavalier_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.16.707.7_1.43.50.00_108_Ship.exe in the site, which I already have. Wonder whats the difference between 1.16.707.7 and 1.16.708.7?

I think that error 294 is "country error", that is why it won't let you flash HK ROM. Differences between 707.7 and 708.7 are minor, nothing regarding the interface but I would say a bit faster.

Best ROM & Radio for Universal

Hi all,
i've an italian Qtek 9000 and the official reseller didn't release any updates in two years, so i'm stuck with a bugged device.
I want to know which one could be the best Radio version at the moment (i'm using the german mobile network with T-Mobile) and the best/stablest ROM.
I've tried to access to the official Qtek website (and others) to see which updates it provides but my IMEI is not accepted, as it's tied to the italian company.
I can use an italian, english or german ROM, preferably an official one with WPA2 support, i don't have other requisites, i just need it to be reliable and stable.
Does anyone have any suggestions or can provide an image like that?

Nop, but the best ROM in english definetly is the Tomal v8.0 with radio 1.15

that's strange.
i just registered my diamond on the hongkong site but i couldn't find any download for the rom version you were saying.

That is the chinese version (not english version that released in early June) release today.

Apparently, there is . Press releases from www.dopod.com. But it is not yet release on the Chinese market.
It is known as Dopod S900.

This is NOT the final release
For what HTC told me here (wondering how that Rom was out) they said it still ha bugs on OBEX and memory leak. (you migh try yourself of course)

request for Hong Kong English version ROM 1.37.707.1
Have any experts here dump the ROM 1.37.707.1 Hong Kong version? The South East Asia 1.37.707.1 version is nice but lacks the Hong Kong Regional Setting??? Wierd & it just don't feel right at all, would be nice to have the oem signed version.
& I just heard the latest release of this Hong Kong English version was just released few days ago. So I can also restore it as if OEM without voiding warranty.

Diamond USA ROM?

Hi All,
I know that there are 2 versions of the HTC Diamond (unbranded) 1 which is the EU version and 1 which is the US version. Does anyone have the US ROM? or at least the Radio ROM?
I have the EU version Diamond and i want to flash it with the US version so i can get 3G working. As far i as remember i read somewhere here long time ago that the Diamond 3G is software and not hardware dependent. Please correct me if I am wrong.
