Hi Folks,
is it possible to copy my nokia 6230 adressbook & events (organizer) via bluetooth to my mda3?
are there good webpages with some descriptions?
kind regards,
Ben
Well, youcould install the Nokia PC Suite on a PC with Microsoft Outlook and synchronize, then install Microsoft ActiveSync on the same PC, then synchronize your MDA III.
Mmh. I dont have a bluetooth dongle for my notebook yet.
IR transfer is not functional.. always interrupted.
isnt it possible to link the mda3 and the nokia 6230 and get all contacts and organizer events via the "object push profile" ??
kind regards,
Ben
B_U,
1) pair both devices
2) open adressbook on N6230
3) for each record individuali select: send/all/by bluetooth
Try the same procedure for the events (I never tried).

Is there a way to get my P3300 sync with my notebook over WLan.
(outlook contacts, and reminders)
On my old Pocket PC its possible without any problems.
But i think microsoft has removed the WLan sync in the new Active Sync.
Thanks for your help!
(ps. i didn't find anything like this with the search function)
It is not possible with ActiveSync. Microsoft removed synchronization over WiFi for security reasons and you can't use old AS with PDA with Windows Mobile 5.
do you know a other way to synchronize my outlook on the pda?

With the USB-cable or through Bluetooth are the only other options.
Hi,
Just wondering if there are any applications that allow sms to be dealt with via the pc, when my orbit is connected through activesync?
Possibly something that integrates with office, or a standalone app would suffice...
Thanks...
Here you are
This one works great (In outlook)

I have a Volkswagen Touareg with a bluetooth phone prep, which is a remote Sim Access Profile type and possibly made by Nokia, the manual mentions Nokia HT-2, which I am trying to connect my HTC TyTN too. I have recently ugraded to the WM 6 ROM from the HTC website, works brilliantly, and am using the SAP Manager tool included to make the connection, which is fine.
But I cannot copy my phone book, which happens to be my ActiveSync contacts from an outlook exchange server. I have installed the Jetware Mobile app, discussed in a similar thread here, but no joy. Does anyone have any ideas please? Is there a widget I could install or some modification I could make that would achieve it, as it is a ball ache to manually dial every number I need from the steering wheel when it is just in the phonebook. Many thanks.
use gmail account
Hello,
I have the same problem. Converting the contacts to a gmail account en use the gmail app the synchronize mail & contact. that works fine .

Dear friends,
need your help asap. My company decided to change our P3300 phones to fckn Nokia E 71 Symbian ones.
So, starting from tomorrow, all my data from Artemis (contacts, sms, notes, calendar entries, etc) should be back-uped, in order to use it on my new shty Nokia.
So, I have used Spb backup, and all the data are on my memory card, but I am afraid that Symbian based phone is not going to recognize the SPB backup file.
Is there any solution for backup from Win5 to Symbian based phone?
No Problem.....

hello
1- install nokia pc suite on your pc.
2- sync "your n71 (or anyone nokia) phone book" and outlook express.
3- open outlook express and export your contact to pc. (outlook express / file / export / contact / save).
4- open the microsoft outlook and import your exported contact from your pc.
5- and sync micr. outlook and your ppc with activesync.
6- or reverse this steps for ppc to nokia.
the end.
I just got my hands on my new Touch HD yesterday and have installed HD Tweak on it. However, I have a really basic question to ask - how do I transfer all my contacts from my previous phone (Sony Ericsson C902) to the THD?
I usually use bluetooth to transfer all my contacts from one phone make to another in the past (e.g. Nokia - Sony Ericsson), but in this case, even after turning on Bluetooth for the THD, my Sony Ericsson cannot detect the bluetooth network.
Is there any other suggestions how I can get this sorted out?
I'm hoping to avoid having to manually key in hundreds of data!! Would appreciate any advice or help thrown my direction..
export from SE in *CSV file -> import them in Outlook (CD with HD has a trial version if needed) on PC -> Syncro by ActiveSync with HD (if C902 is a WM device use PimBackup)

Copy Contacts
Or you can try:
Copy all contacts to SIM > Transfer SIM to Touch HD > Copy contacts to phone memory.
You could use SIM only if you have Nome+Tel.Nr. but if you have more PI (or 2+ Tel.Nr.) else SIM is useless.

I just sent vcards via bluetooth and saved them all in one touch, then everything's ok... Touch is a miracle
HD visible
You have to check a box in bluetooth parameters which says that you want your HD "visible" by other phones.
you can also use outlook. You can use the PC Suite to sync your contacts with outlook then use active sync to transfer them from outlook to your phone
