Can anybody recomment me a good BlueTooth car kit for my XDAII? What about Motorola 98500 and the Parrot systems?
Hereby using the speakers of the car and a info disply for the dashboard.
Thank you.

I was wondering is there a way to receive incoming calls from the car speakers instead of the mda itself with this combination? I have search the forums and there seems to be a kit from "http://www.siocommunications.co.uk/06-061B.html" that will work with my car which is a "1999 ford cougar" but it's only for the nokia phone tho. Is there a kit that will work with my car,mda II and the tomtom carkit? or is there an special adapter i can buy to allow calls to come from my car speakers instead of the mda?
"Spec"
Tmobile MDA II
TOMTOM bluetooth navigator
TOMTOM bluetooth carkit
Thank You!
I found a very cheap way of doing this without any wires, its called a "car baby", its a small rechargeable unit that clips over the speaker on any pocket pc and transmits all audio through your radio to the speakers making your phone handsfree and a navigation systm will also put the audio through the speakers, works for mp3 as well. Here is the link for the device on ebay uk but is available worldwide for about $8 per unit.

Hi, I have a Qtek S110 and a pre-installed phone car kit with bluetooth. The car kit is the usual one that comes with the new VW Passat. The craddle that came with the car for Nokia6100.
In the car manual says I that to activate bluetooth connection I first need to put mobile in the craddle and then press a couple of buttons. However, naturally QTEK doesn´t fit the craddle and I am not able to link the car kit with the phone.
Any suggestions? I´m getting desperate...

Nokia CK7W?
Not much to go on here, but it sounds like you might have a Nokia CK7W car kit. In which case head on over to Nokia's web site and you can download the manual - it will walk you through pairing over Bluetooth.
bluetooth carkit
hi i f it is the nokia ck7w kit with the round wheel for control i too have experienced problems in the end i purchased a "parrot bluetooth kit" this works fine.
I have a Parrot BT car kit (With GPS CK3300 I think?) that works great, but I'd love to find a holder that has the ability to poer/charge the XDA.... and suggestions guys?

I am trying to work out the best way to set up the following in my car:
1 ) GPS on my Exec using bluetooth and TomTom 5.2
2 ) Bluetooth handsfree phone use using Motorola Razor
3 ) Car mount kit with charger.
I intend to have all of the above properly installed so no loose wires and mess.
From everything I have picked up from others the Brodit is the best solution for a mounting kit, so i will definately order that.
My dilema is I do not use the exec as a phone as it is just not pratical for that, so whilst i really like the idea of the Parrot CK 3300 I am not sure if it will pair with my Razor to use as a phone and the Exec for bluetooth GPS operation at the same time. If this is possible then it makes life easy. On the rare occaison that is use the Exec as a phone in the car it's own handsfree is pretty good any way. I also understand that the Parrot GPS uses the Exec speakers rather than the Car radio for the spoken directions so there is not need to have it access the car sound system.
The other alternative is to get the Parrot CK3100 for the handsfree car GSM bit , buy TT 5.2 then find a separate GPS receiver.
Does anyone either have experince of doing this or and idea of the best way.
Any suggestions here will be greatfully received.
Charlie
I've paired my CK3300 before with my XDA Exec and a Nokia 6600.
Used the XDA for GPS and the Nokia for handsfree.
When you pair the XDA with the CK3300 you get the list of devices on the Parrot and you get handsfree and serial port - You will only want to pair the serial port part of it. Just pair your RAZR as you would with a regular headset and it should all work.
Good luck!

Thanks for the quick reply. That is very encouraging to hear. It really simplifies things if i can go down that route. I will order the bits on Monday, unless anyone has a better solution for this. Also can you confirm if the GPS spounds come throught he Exec speakers rather than the Car stereo?
Do you have any other advice about this?
Charlie
Yes the GPS sounds come through the exec and not the car kit.
Just trying to think if there is anything else you need to be aware of.......
It all should be pretty easy to be honest - just make sure when pairing the device that you use the advanced settings and choose pair with a windows ce device.
Hi all
Just bought a Pioneer DEH-P700BT Bluetooth headunit, my XDA Orbit will not pair with it. It used to pair with my old bluetooth headunit but not this one.
From reading around it has known issues pairing with PDAs but apparently there are ways around it
Are there any mods I can do with my phone to make the bluetooth pair with the P700BT stereo?
Help appreciated
