I Upgrade my O2 XDAII firm ware from ROM vesion 1.60.50WWE to 1.7.2.00 T-Mobile.
When upgrading to radio about 51% then has got a Error message ID 104 or 144 (I don't remember exacly) and guide include 4 step, summary access bootloader and reinstall.
I have reupgraded but received the same error.
after that I have downgraded the ROM vesion 1.60.50WWE but received the same error too.
Nowaday, My O2 can not start and I cann't doing any thing.
Help me.

Has any one managed to update an imate PDA2K with the latest rom. I have tried the up date trick in the forum

I have upgraded my XDA 2s from o2's original FW to I-MATES latest,
It took several attempts! I kept getting ID error 212212122 kind of thing.
I then tried a USB 2 computer as my USB 1 comp wasn't cutting it and kept resetting the machine half way through :/ thought i'd turned it into a brick, but once i'd tryed it 3 times on USB2 it finaly worked! And I had to add the extra line that you did as well, keep trying
Make sure you know what your Original Firmware is! otherwise you'll be trying to install the wrong FirmWare or ROM update.
Check the wiki, beginners section, search my posts.
I'm now running I-Mate latest FW. its ten times better than O2s old one!

Upgrading iMate to Latest O2 Rom
Thank you for the advice. Did you upgrade from iMate to 02 or O2 to iMate?
My machine is a USB 2 machine and no matter how may time I tried I got the country ID error.
In the past I have managed to update my iMate to the O2 Rom with previous versions, but when I have tried to update my iMate with the latest ROM I get the Country ID Error -12121212 etc.
Has any one manage dto put the latest O2 Rom on an iMate Blue Angel?
If so please tell me how.

put it in your upgrade folder and round it , should be no problem , I did o2 to I-mate and Dopod to I-mate n times already.
if got the error on the 1st run with the no-id, run the no-id 4 the 2nd time, it works 4 me, i've flash my pda2k to o2 1.40.00 WWE :lol:

I just bought O2 XDA II mini S but got the German version. So need help to convert it in to English version..... I tride to unlock the phone with lokiwiz02B but no luck giving error " internal error- unable to write on disk". Also tride to upgrade the ROM with (downloaded from O2 uk site) but it is not working.

be sure that the rom is made for your device if it's made for another xda it will not work

I tride with couple of ROM available on O2 site but no luck. Phone is in working condition, SMS, Contacts etc are displyed in English script but basic script is Germen. How to solve the issue.

as in all other text then the text in those places you mention ?

Phone is got converted to English with CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE. Thanks for the same. But after installing the said ROM phone has downgraded now tell me how to upgrade the ROM. I tried with O2 UK WWE ROM but while installation giving error " Upgrade Only". How to upgrade said ROM. Also guide me on the keyboard issue : if I press Z it types Y and viseversa.

i've tried different WM6 Roms but i'm noct convinced to use it yet.
That's why i'm trying to find a way to downgrade to WM5.
I know that there are several how-tos but none worked yet.
I already tried the opposite way via uspl to downgrade. no success yet.
WM5 Rom is here, when trying to downgrade i get the error message 260 which means no connection to the device. i'm using the same machine for downgrading as for upgrading, nothing but the Rom on the phone has changed.
Currently i'm using the o2-xda-orbit german rom.
If anybody has a clue what to do to get the old stuff back, thx in advance

You can downgrade your O2 Orbit successfully if you have Original German ROM (WM5) which is available somewhere in this forum. I can't remember which thread but if you do some search I am sure that you will find it.

I own a HTC P3300 Artemis.
Using USPL and the original o2 german wm6 rom i flashed it with WM6.
I already downloaded a german wm5 rom, my problem right now is that i cannot by any unknown circumstances get this rom on my phone.
No matter whether i use uspl before trying to flash the original rom or if i don't use uspl the result remains the same.
The update utility keeps telling me that it is not possible to connect to my smartphone.
Active Sync/ Mobile devices center connection is working fine though.

Don´t know why but it seems alot have experienced this prob.
I have bought a htc3300 from a dealer that i find at skroutz but after 1 day i had lost the 2nd language keyboard so i took it back to the dealer to fix the problem he said that wm6 is free to upgrade so let passed it but he put the touch htc software that don't work good how can i downgrade to wm5 again please help it's only 2 days mobile !!!!

The UPLS is not a ROM??
When you run UPLS it sets the CID registration, so you can flash any ROM you want - but offcouse you still have to get the ROM
you 're right after upsl you can downgrade or upgrade... many tnx for info...
