I tried following the suggestions from ewdb on the board but when I upgraded my 2020 it went from Rom 1.72.02 FRA to 1.66.02FRA and still in French. The web site had a choice of French upgrade or English upgrade and when I chose English the message I got was the wrong language. So I did the French upgrade and it took my 2020 back to Rom 1.66.02FRA. The files I downloaded are RUU166223WWE and RUU166219FRA. Are these the files to change the language from English to French? Thank you in advance.
yes, the WWE means World Wide English. By now you already know what means FRA.

What I did wrong is I tried to use the French software RUU166219FRA to change my 2020 becasue I could not install the RUU166223WWE. During the install it gave me a language error message and I could not continue the install. At that point, I tried the French software and sent my Qtek 2020 backwards.
Some have suggested that I will need to change some hardware to change the language to English.

you only can change the langue when you install a version rom in english or the langue you want but with Qtek 9100 have a different because his key board!your keybaord is in Germany if you use English you got a probleme with your key board!So you should rest in Germany and find a new version rom in germany
ok so in my case.....I have a Qtek 9100 from TMobile. I can just install the English ROM and it will work?

I have a Qtek 9000 purchased in Spain with Spanish ROM. I would like to change this to English. I downloaded a ROM update via Expansys site but it will not load as it reports I am using the incorrect language version. HTC tell me it is not possible. Any ideas please?

You are posting in the wrong forum. You will have more success in the Universal forum, which is dedicated to Qtek 9000 and alikes.
Anyway, it is perfectly possible to change your Spanish ROM to English ROM, which would be called WWE (World Wide English).
The only issue is that you need to use a special procedure to overcome the imposed limitation that would normaly prevent you to change the kind of ROM you use.

On the hp page there is a new ROM 1.12 (english) for my ipaq. I am interesting with this due to a lot of fixes... The problem is that I have the polish ROM (plk). I have nothing against polish but I would like to upgrade the ROM and I prefer english How to do this?

i've just got a toshiba e350 ,the rom version is 1.0305.0404, dated: March 5 2003, the problem is that it is in portogues,how do change it to english. i can bearly find my way around. i tried micosoft but could not get any language service packs on the site. someone please HELP!

First, sorry for my bad English.
I have used this hpRUU to upgrade mi hp iPAQ 6815 from English to Dutch
version and i used Sp35820.
So my Office is Dutch on this moment.
And everything on my PDA is Dutch.
I am very happy with this, it runs like hell...thanks.
But now i have a problem.
I attempt to upgrade Office to a newer version but when i use Dutch then i have an error.
Now i was looking in the hpInventory in the PDA and there i can see:
language: English(WWE) (Taal: Engels (WWE))
Is there a possibility to solve this ?
I want to upgrade Office with the Dutch version.
Or maybe there is a possibility to put WM6 Dutch version on my PDA.
On this moment it is WM5.
