Given that 3 Mobile in Australia now has both the Dopod 838Pro (Hermes) and Dopod D810 (Trinity), could it please be added as a GSM carrier for Australia (to join Telstra, Optus and Vodafone)?

Given that 3 Mobile in Sweden now has both the HTC TYTN ( HERMES) and P3600 (Trinity), could it please be added as a GSM carrier for Sweden (to join Telia, Tele2 and Telenor (old : Vodafone))?
Thanks!

I second that.
3 AU has had the 838Pro for 4 months now, and I was surprised there was no entry for it in teh drop-down when I updated my profile just now.
Please add "Australia - Three" to the drop down. Details and Logo @ http://www.three.com.au/
This is kinda funny.
Cingular is not in the list, and it has been around for quite sometime with the SX66.
Its cool though because AT&T is in the list and if the admins wait long enough Cingular will be AT&T again and they wont have to add anything!
Later, Lew
P.S. Since everyone has been so touchy lately I would like to point out that I am not jabbing at ANYONE... well, that was awkward.
And China Mobile please, the biggest GSM Provider in China, which is not in the list.

this will work in europe?
i have one only catch 3g
if phone is tri-band or quad-band you can use it in Europe, cause thing is in frequency 850/900/1800/1900 mhz maybe numbers for frequency aren't exact , but look for that thing!
GSM 900 / GSM 1800 MHz are used in most parts of the world: Europe, Asia, Australia, Middle East, Africa.
GSM 850 / GSM 1900 MHz are used in the United States, Canada, Mexico and most countries of S. America.
Greetz
yup that´s correct after i read this thread i google and discover good phone work only in 3G
back to canada

If you open the battery cover and you don´t see a place for a sim card then it´s a CMDA phone,CMDA phones dont have a sim card slot

Did you buy it in Sweden?
most european and asian versions of HTC Diamond are GSM versions. If you bought it in Sweden and using a swedish telephone company (Telia, Telenor, 3, etc.) that you are absoulutely using a GSM version of the phone.

UK Desire in New Zealand

Hi
I plan to buy a UK Sim Free Desire and then may do some travelling.
Will this work OK in New Zealand ? (with NZ Sim Card)
I assume calls will be OK.. how about 3G etc.. ?
Thanks
NZ uses 850 and 2100 like Australia, Canada and AT&T in the US. You would be better off getting a Telstra desire. Or just live on the EDGE when out of 2100 range.
Actually Telecom here does 850 & (some) 2100... but Vodafone NZ does 900 and 2100.. which is the ones supported by the Desire.. So you'll be fine
