I'm desperately in need of help on this phone..Siemens SX66 from Cingular network in USA...I used the xdadev all unlock and it seems to finish unlocking OK..no more simlock..but the phone cannot pick up any GSM 900/1800 signal....can anyone verify that this phone should be triband or its just 1900mhz?...Or could it be from unlocking that causes this problem?...I know that other brand phone, xda IIs...is the same and has triband.....please help if you know the solution to this problem..thanks
900/1800mhz are NOT found in the US, only elsewhere. I am with cingular also and just purchased a Xda IIs, come to find out it has 850, 900, 1800 & 900/1800 mhz basnds but no 1900 mhz.
Seems Cingular uses 1900 and 850 only, but what I am able to gather the 850 is 90% of Cinular's coverage.
Hope this helps, I'm still trying to sort out my 850 situation and see if I should keep this phone, I sure do luv it.
Oh and by the way I think the SX66 is 850, 900, 1900 & 850/1900 mhz.
Hello ANYONE some luck with a Radio for the HTC DIamond who supportss ATT Crap 850/1900 mhz UMTS ?
Can i use T-mob 3G w/ unlock Tilt2 at&t ???
NO!!!
Tilt2 doesn't get T-Mobile USA's 1700 MHz Signal. AT&T uses 1900 MHz.
T-Mobile's TP2 receives 1700 (T-Mobile USA), & 2100 (Europe) MHz.
AT&T's TP2/Tilt2 receives 850, 1900 (AT&T USA), & 2100 (Europe) Mhz.
Sorry, No can do.
I live in Dominican Republic and I am a service provider that has the bands
**
CDMA 1900 Mhz
GSM / EDGE 850 MHz / 1900 MHz
3G 850 MHz
4G 1700 Mhz / 2100 Mhz (Band 4 AWS)
I supposed that my samsung note 3 operate well because of those bands but always gets constantly or EDGE.
could someone help me.
sorry for my bad English.
