i want the stable cm 7.2 of buzz port to wildfire s is anyone know how to do that?

You can only port a ROM if the devices are similar in dpi(or resolution) and processor version
for the buzz its dpi is "ldpi" and resolution is 320x240
But our WFS has an "mdpi" and resolution is 320x480
But the processors are the same (ARMV6)
The resolution difference might cause problems
And,you can't a port a CM7 rom from a device unless you have a CM7 rom for your device
Anyway, our CM7 is stable enough but not official, what will change?justt continue using our CM7 by alquez
Noteorting an official rom won't make it official anymore.

720p Not Available in ASOP & Why?
hey guys needed to move from my stock sense after i rooted the other day but can not find no ASOP with 720P, is this due to kernal restrictions or purely ROM builds. Also is it simply not possable to extract sense's camera from a sense rom, unpack a ASOP and add the sense camera in the apps folder and later use it as the default.
thanks
if it was it would have been done already, wait until HTC release the GB kernel for the bravo and it may be possible (from what I've heard)

interesting so you think its totally a kernel thing and not software?

It'll be kernel/driver incompatibility. Unfortunately I'd like to see 720p incorporated into AOSP ROM's too as I use the video quite a lot and prefer the AOSP ROM's but, I suppose, some sacrifices need to be made because it's not a perfect world
Can anyone port ICS to our defy from aosp??
Of course we can, and of course it will be ported...if you people read a bit before posting you would learn that the next version of CyanogenMod with ICS will be CM9. The SDK was just released yesterday so leave them time to work on it . Plus, with our bootloader locked, Quarkx will probably have to make a version of CM9 with the Defy+'s Gingerbread Kernel (our actual one being the Froyo kernel, but i guess it would be too old for an ICS port)
Voilaaa

Ofcourse not!! As there will be no no SDK port of ICS on CM (source : CM team). We'll only get a port when the official ICS source is out.

And right you are.
CM8 as intended for the honeycomb version but its source never released. Thus CM8 wont be there. Hope the same wont happen with ICS. According to an old statment by google ICS source should be released
Will it be possible to port MIUI to the wildfire s?

Possible, for sure. Only a dev is needed who wants to port it. If alquez can fix his cyanogen kernel, it would be easier to do it cause both use the same one.
But first is still a dev needed who wants to do it.
Swyped from my Desire S
No MIUI, this is only for 480 by 800 devices, i've asked it here before and it isn't possible.
But for the awesome MIUI experience: here some apps
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18293077&postcount=7
I've also a download link to stock (CM7) Mail app, maybe someone can include it in his ROM

Hit thanks when you like!
So there are 2 roms in the android dev section which are based on miui.
1. Galnet
2. DSJ
What are the differences between the two?
Also is anyone who's used this, blown their menu led? is there any way to get all four led's working?

At first both roms are only ICS SDK ports and not complete ics roms and I think if you want to see the differences between both you will have to install them yourself.
Galnet is developed by a team of developers and DSJ I guess is developed by the user "davidsonsjesus". Correct me if I'm wrong.
would you have any idea about the led? I would not like to blow off my menu LED just to test the rom.
Thanks
No, sorry, i dont use MIUI. I only use Cyanogenmod... So if you want to try a ICS you could try the AOSP/CM9 rom. But please dont try it if you dont know what to do! Its not stable and there are a lot of things that dont work yet.

they only have framework integratesd and the build.prop that says is 4.0.1 but are gingerbread! and are not compatible with any ICS app
ICS uses sdk 14 apps and ginger bread uses 10 so in the galnet miui or DSJ build uses sdk 10 that are based on gingerbread!

so do we really get anything significant out of the added ics framework, or just for the name sake???
is it worth having it and risk getting more bugs from it?

Yep, will it ever get CM 7.2? Are there any devs working on it? Just wondering.
I thought the unofficial builds by erwin and cobje are 7.2??
Officially though I doubt it now as arco and Jacob have moved on to better phones.

As per the CM Blog, It was planned to have a final stable release of CM7 to incorporate all the changes that have gone through since the last stable came out, and also since the nightlies stopped. However, now that CM9 nightlies have started, (For some devices), I don't know whether this plan (To get 7.2 Stable) is still on or not.
Basically, if you are already on the local builds by cobje / Erwin, you won't get anything else, apart from a "Stable" in the file name, and the ability to file bug reports on the CM bug tracker (Which will not help, given that CM7 is almost dead)
Ok thank you. Its just like senseonfire beta 0.4 0.5 etc. And jokerdroid 4.2 and 4.3
Tought it was like cm6 cm7 cm9, for every version another android version.
