Question Change Country of EUX CSC - Samsung Galaxy S22

Hello all,
I bought a Galaxy S22 that was intended for the Italian market, but I live in Germany. My current CSC is already EUX, but I would like to change the country to Germany, so I can connect my german bank account to Samsung Pay. I already tried using SamFW, changed to the CSC to SEK and back to EUX because I thought maybe that would change the country automatically based on my SIM card. Unfortunately when I changed back to EUX it showed Italy again.
In another post I read about a similar case to mine, where they used an app called Alliance Shield, but I can't find any documentation on how to change the CSC country with that app.
I hope somebody can help me, to change the country in any way.
Thank you very much,
Draqoon

Change or Add Operator Settings in Auto Configurator (ATOM)

I wonder if someone can help please, I have already seen the answer to my question in either this or the MTEKK forum, but for the life of me can't find the post again.
I would like to Change the factory default operator settings that come pre-installed within the Auto-configurator App on the Atom. I read somewhere that it can store upto 18 different operator settings but these can be changed somehow. I bought the Atom in Thailand but work in Saudi so all the SE Asian operators are not really required.
Thanks.....

Huawei Mate 20 HMA-AL00 Chinesess applications

Hello everyone,
I have a Huawei Mate 20 HMA-AL00 (Chinese version) which many applications appear in that source language, or at least the results are in Chinese. HiVoice, HiVision, HiBoard, Reader, and in others the same thing happens. I have changed the language to English and Spanish and nothing happens. I have changed the region to Spain or the United States and it remains the same. I have looked for a solution to this problem and there are posts that mention, uninstall the applications, but it is not what I want; in addition that the solutions do not work is this model.
I wish someone could guide me in the solution.

Possible to change non-eu model to eu model ?

Hey guys,
i just bought a Galaxy A50 which turned out, is not a EU model. Right now i have the A505F/DS Model and i want to change it to A505FN/DS
i saw a few tutorials where they say its possible, but i want a confirmation that it is still possible.
With having the "F" only model, i cant use a German (QWERTZ) keyboard and spotify + youtube bixby apps are showing vietnamese.
So if i were able to change the model numbers, would i actually have access to german keyboard + correct locations ?

Call recording on S20 phones

Hi,
Has anyone managed to get call recording to work on any of the S20 phones?
Many of the call recording apps don't work, but I read somewhere that if you root the phone you can get it to record.
Another website mentions changing the CSC to one of the countries that allow call recording, for example Thailand. Apparently there is a built-in recorder in those countries' S20 phones.
Is there any way to get it to record?
Thanks!
S20+ in Thailand does have built-in voice recorder. Works as intended.

Can we change the CSC to enable this, by installing a Thai Sim or updating to a specific Firmware?
I ordered my S20+ from Vodafone Germany and also ordered a Thai Travel Sim to try this since it apparently worked on other Galaxy Phones in the past.
I hope I can configure the Phone without a Sim to order the Galaxy Buds+ (free for Preorders but has to be ordered through an App on the Phone, so I suspect it must know it's German at this stage) and change to Thai after before it gets 'locked'.
Call Recording is a crucial feature for me.

Skvalex call recorder has a guide in his website how to do it. But you need to have a Thai SIM.

No, changing of sim card trick is not working anymore, I tried already.
call recording option
Indonesia-XID firmware has call recoding
but sadly once u change your CSC to a different country, for example thailand, you'll be gifted with thai related apps.. on my previous phone i just edit the CSC to enable native android call recording.
but you will need root for this.

Exactly, but you gain some and you loose some. If someone preffer call recording, main option you loose is Samsung Pay, other apps work fine. It's just the preferences. I would like to have call recording, i can secrifice Samsung Pay
Rooting phone is different ball game alltogether. I dont think rooting is worth enough. you dont acheive mush with rooting now a days, (Just my openion)
But i would really look forward to change CSC on my phone, and waiting eagerly for a work around
So I now have my phone (S20+ 5G - SM-G986B) and was looking to change the CSC...
Out of the Box, the Thai Sim did little to nothing. Obviously Samsung recognized the region, since Ts&Cs / Samsung Member confirmation was in Thai (even though I set it to my region), but nothing as far as CSC or Call Recording are concerned.
Did I see correctly that there isn't even a THL Firmware for this model?
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

U can use call recorder acr from the playstore in de meantime. :good:
Grtz
I just recieved my s20+. I think that Thailand sim didn't work because only csc on a phone is a csc country you purchased phone. No multi rom. Hope it will change when they realise multi rom.

Doesn't work for me. It does record calls, but apparently converts to a wrong Sample Rate as it plays back multiple times (5.5) faster than it was recorded.

Technically the released Multi-Roms: There's definitely an OXM including THL for SM-G985F (S20+ 4G) - just not for the 5G model. Maybe I should have saved €100 for the 5G that I can't use in my Region anyway. Thought I would future-proof.
Thats the only CSC phone info app can see. Well I start to regret buying 5G version....[emoji3]View attachment 4969795
All "international exynos versions have call recording built-in into the software. To enable it, the right flag should be enabled in the cscfeature.xml file (you need root for that, unencrypt the file, modify it and overwrite it back again).
However I'm not sure if you can write to that product partition anymore, on the S20s (we cannot write to system directly anymore). Worst case scenario, a Magisk module could do it.
I'll try it now on my S20+ 5G (intl) and report back ??

So did you manage to root it already? :good:
Please keep my posted, I am eagerly waiting for it.
Currently on a rooted Huawei P20 Pro, I have my S20+ 5G laying on my desk unused, since I assume I'll need to wipe and flash it anyway (either during bootloader unlock or CSC Change) to achieve recording.
Recording truly is a showstopper / knock-out criteria to me.
If I cannot do it, I will have to return the phone.
Frankly, the improvements over my current phone are way too minor to justify the price of admission anyway.

I don't think we will see this future in our phones
I just tried a Cube ACRv2.2.175 beta application and it works perfectly
If you guys have root access you can use this method
working magisk
magisk modules: riru (riru - core)(YAHFA), riru - edxposed
the app: edxposed manager
the xposed module: firefds kit (q)
in firefds kit (q) under phone enable call recording

Snapdragon S20+ in UK - CSC Change

Hi Folks,
I managed to import a S20 + US Snapdragon model to the UK.
Working beautifully except I need to change the phone CSC region to get certain features available on the phone like caller ID working.
I'm quite clueless at this so any advice on how to make this change would be most welcome?
Thanks
Not possible right now
Tapatalk - SM-G986B
I was looking at Sam Key and I'm assuming that the firmware has not been cracked as of yet.
