I have a question about this feature in the Mmuzzy 4.2.1 French Vanilla Rom for the Galaxy Nexus. I know this in the wrong section, but I don't have permission to post since I'm new. But with the extended desktop enabled I am also running the LMT app for the pie menu. However I would like to know if there is any way to enable the notification bar while extended desktop is on? Even if I use gestures to bring up the notification bar it is still blocked from opening, that goes for the quick menu as well. It doesn't have to be visible on screen at all times, but it would be nice to at least open my notification bar by swiping.

I use another ROM (cm10.1) with the extended desktop enabled an LMT too.
In order to make available the status/notification bar I use an app called Smart Statusbar that allows to you show/hide the statusbar swiping on the top of the screen.

I just see that. On the last nightlie build of cm10, you can enable the extended desktop with/without statusbar.
hmm, maybe I'll switch to cyanogen mod, I just loaded the mmuzzy mod yesterday. I originally was on bugless beast, but since there hasnt been an update in a while I figured I would switch. I usually like to stick to stable vanilla roms, but I could give it a shot

This just made my phone the best it has ever been! Pie Control with Smart Statusbar and Extended desktop. Priceless...
Hi XDA, I recently switched from Hyperdroid to PARANOIDANDROID because I was having battery issue with Hyperdroid.
Now everything is great on PA but the thing I miss from Hyperdroid is the swiping gesture from Hyperdroid while you expanded the notification drawer.
In 4.2.2 you have two pages in your drawer which is
1.) Notifications
2.) The toggles buttons
You just swipe anywhere in the drawer (empty spaces) and they turn to the next page.
Is there anyway I can get this function on my PA rom now?

This rom is working very well. There are a lot of custom settings laid out in a nice and userfriendly layout, very nice! Only problem I found was that *front* facing cam seems to be stuck in some sort of "wide" mode, so my face was really long when in portrait, and more correct in landscape. And why remove "hold back button to force close app" -Solution: Edit hardware keys to holding back button-kill app. As in some other roms, there seems to be an issue when using auto brightness that causes the screen to use anything from seconds to minutes on waking up.
There are some advanced settings that are locked, probably because of our kernel (like changing Gpu freq and vibration). 13mpx cam working, focus works fine. Definitely one of the most well made roms I've seen!

PS. Rom is very very similar to Beanstalk rom posted by ltelg, I've posted basically the same comment there. Carbon has a slightly better layout for the numerous settings IMO.

He ONLY ports, no updates. He does put out new ports every now and then. But he doesn't post much to xda any more, Here you can find a quite new carbon port
This is a great ROM but have just noticed that the brightness must be set to nearly 100% to be a normal brightness. Is anyone else having to set their brightness so high ? Itdoes drain quite a bit of battery I have noticed.

So far i love it.
Well this ROM was working okay for awhile and then everything went to **** about a month later. 90% of appa force close, NFC drains my battery for no reason, and I can't disable it because settings force closes. data reset doesn't reset, and clockwork mod won't start.

Man, the dev don't have the guilt for your case, if the ROM works a lot of time isn't because is a bad ROM, right?? That things happens, and the best thing that I recommend you, is flash a kdz ROM (Singapore is the best by the weight, less of 1gb) with kdz updater. Root, use freegee to install a recovery and done, you can flash any custom ROM again. In the forum there's a specific guide to do all the procedure.

Saw your post in at&t thread, so i asume your G is a at&t modell, so why you are flashing a rom which is meant for e975?

I'm running the S3Rx ROM that has the Lidroid toggles. I would like to use the lockscreen toggle so I can quickly disable it when I'm at home. The problem I have is clicking on notifications re-enables the lockscreen if it's disabled. After that the toggle does not disable the lockscreen anymore until I reboot.
I've seen this problem in a few different threads with different ROM's and different devices so it seems to be a Lidroid thing or Lidroid-ROM compatibility issue.
Does anyone successfully use this toggle or have a workaround?
