CLEAN FLASH :​- Install the latest TWRP or OrangeFox
- In TWRPIOrangeFox, open Terminal (Advanced/ Terminal in TWRP, Menu/More/Terminal in OrangeFox), and run command mke2fs -t ext4 -b 4096 /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/cust, then enter "y" to confirm.
- Install ROM in recovery
- Format data (the one you type "yes" to confirm)
- Reboot
DIRTY FLASH :

- Reboot to recovery
- Flash the latest build
- Wipe Cache
- Reboot

Can you tell what Gcam version works for you? I mean a version with minimal bugs

transmits the sound received from the microphone to the handset during a phone call. Even touching the microphone part is extremely uncomfortable.

Can’t boot to system after clean install. Any preps that I miss?

What I have done
Using Orange Fox Recovery
I wiped out system, data, vendor, caches & dalvik art,
Formatted the phone by typing yes
Copied ur rom
Installed it successfully
And when I tried to boot
The Rom was Stucked on logo
Tried cleaning caches but it didn't helped.
My zenfone details
Current rom - SparksOS Android 12
Recovery - orangeFox
Internal/ram - 64gb/6gb

I USED LATEST TWRP 3.6.2_12 TO FLASH PROJECT ELIXIR 3.0 ROM BASED ON ANDROID 13 FOR ASUS ZENFONE MAX PRO M1 AND FLASHED SUCCESSFULLY BUT ROM STUCKED ON BOOT LOGO AND ONLY SHOWING BOOT LOGO
I WIPED ,DELVIK ,CACHE,DATA ,VENDOR , SYSTEM
AS I AM ENCRYPTED USER SO I FORMATTED DATA AFTER ROM INSTALLATION BY TYPING 'YES "

So, no one had successfully booted to the system @harshhaareddy7272

Hello there! If my poco has FW 13.0.7.0(SKHEUXM) by default, can i just flash Elixir rom out of the gate or do i need to flash another FW before? Do i need to unlock bootloader or anything like that? (haven't done this type of stuff since my Samsung S6)

May I know why you went from 2.0 to 3.0 and didn't release build 2.1? Will there be 2.1 build yet? This rom is currently unusable for me because a few features are missing, but it's no wonder since android 13 has just come out.

I am the new maintainer of alioth, I decided to start with a13 because my trees are ready for a13, have a little patience, Elixir 3.1 is just around the corner

Hi,
First of all thanks for your work on this ROM. I have installed the ROM and everything seems to work correctly for the moment except these stuff:
No recovery installed after flashing ROM (shows "Unknown command" when booting recovery). I tried installing TWRP official recovery (I think it is only compatible for A12), it works but can't decrypt data even without password.
3D games lag when playing them. Maybe graphics driver need to be updated?
If you have a recovery you can recommend and that can decrypt data it would be great.
If you have any questions or things to test on the ROM I am available just ask me.
I'll be waiting for Elixir 3.1. Keep up the good work!
Edit: I didn't add a bug report for 3D lag as I think it isn't really a bug. However, if you need I can capture logs and send them.
Edit 2: Flashed OrangeFox recovery for Evolution X A13 thread and now decryption works!

it disconnects by itself or I don't connect at all, changing the cable doesn't change the situation.

Hey y'all, it's the first time using a ROM as a common driver, I have a question, I'm using Huawei health app with my wearable, but it disconnects from the app and the app starts a specie of “doze mode” and the app closes. I select "no restricted mode" (battery settings) but the problem continues... In A12 PPUI and A13 PPUI. There is any solution? Sorry 4 my bad English

I will try on Sunday and let you know. I think I read somewhere on github that it uses FBEv1, not 100% sure though.

It is FBEv1 based, tested it on curtana (Note 9S in Europe), working fine and decryption as well (had crypted /data partition with passkey on Project Elixir and OFox Recovery decrypted it with PIN code)

I flashed this ROM with orange fox fbe v1 recovery but can't find any camera app, any solution pls?

Yes, but it is crashing, no idea why. Installed working GCam 8.6 by MGC/BSG and it is stable. Only issue on that GCam port is that there isn't telephoto camera or macro camera support, but otherwise it is perfect for my usage.
