Thanks, but my question was the inverse: I want to root, typically I did using TWRP and flashing magisk zip. I was guessing if Magisk supports Poco F5 already.

This method is not recommended due to A/B partitions and current TWRP development for A12/13.
And root for what?

I use root for two main purposes: ad blocker in hosts (as I also use VPN service, so I don't want to keep VPN busy with ad blocker) and removal of bloatware with magisk debloater.

Xiaomi.eu ROM for 12 Turbo / Poco F5 with root is great, because one can install among others ad-block apps such as AdAway and block all ads in apps (Youtube excluded). I rooted xiaomi.eu (via magisk and "boot.img") couple of days ago and it's working great. You're right, when you wouldn't recommend rooting via TWRP and flashing magisk.zip for the reasons you mentioned in post #4 above.
Have any of you tried installing viper4android magisk?
A lot of devices are being unable to install the old viper 4 android. I know there's a 64bit version now that usually works on devices that can't install the other one. It doesn't have all of the features it's missing headphones surround sound and gain increase. Which are the two best features of the whole vipers situation. So I want to purchase a Poco F5 or F5 pro. So I am wondering if viper is working?
You'll probably have to install magisk delta canary latest build because the new magisk v26.1 won't work with viper now either. It will work if you Install viper with magisk delta and then switch to magisk official v26.1.
Normally what you do is you install the busy box module, The James DSP 4.6 module, Selinux permissive module, audio modifications library 4.2 module and the viper for Android module finally. You don't have to use the James DSP but sometimes it corrects problems in the system to get viper to work. I'm not sure how much you guys are aware so I am trying to cover everything.
Pixel 6, 7 pro it won't work on. My tab S8 plus, S22 and S23 ultra it won't work on. Pixel 7 pro with AOSP roms make it work when those are available.

I installed material design xposed and install the miui x64 version from
Download from :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
If you want a cool module, I recommand the MIUI TWEAKS 8 from the play store for less than 2€
Another useful module, try xMIUI https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=software.solarwarez.xmiui
It's similar to MIUI tweaks but has a few extra features.

Which rom are you on? Nougat miui or oreo? Nougat aosp/los based or oreo?
Also if aosp/los based and oreo, is your rom a project treble enabled or not? (In case you'd like to install it from magisk systemlessly)
Also have you unlocked your bootloader and flashed twrp custom recovery in the first place or not?
Without these information I'm sorry, your best option should be first searching for each of them on google to learn what they are, then see how to install and/or perform these actions.
I have tried to install magisk xposed and failed. I have xiaomi.eu 9.5.3.0 Oreo, magisk 16.0, TWRP 3210... Any advice please?

For miui oreo you have two options to get xposed working.
1) Download xposed installer apk from xposed thread and xposed for sdk26 (it's for oreo 8.0), first check the box of the disable resource hook option in xposed installer, then flash xposed sdk26 zip from the recovery.
2) Same thing can be done with magisk manager (if it's your root method). So get the xposed installer for magisk apk (search for it because it isn't in the original xposed thread), then do the same thing to disable resource hook, then find and install the xposed for sdk26 systemless module within the magisk manager app.
And for both methods just don't try to use any xposed module that modifies system ui etc because of the miui.
Also have the uninstaller zips for both magisk and xposed
And also, make some twrp backups for boot and system in case you screw up something
By the way, project treble is *simply* separation of /vendor (device related stuff etc) from /system. It enables us to make and use GSIs (generic system images). GSIs are made to specific android versions and theoretically can run on any treble enabled device. Our mi 6 have got treble unofficially thanks to the efforts of the mi 6 developers in our forum. Project treble makes it easy to update system so even if you don't use a treble rom you can go and thank @blankaf 's post for example for his work on the porting of treble for our device.

It says
Android has stopped working etc kind of stuff
And i had ti reboot to recovery and uninstall it :/
Pretty bad situation
For Nougat based MIUI, disable resource hook in Xposed Installer before flash latest xposed zip package.
For Oreo based MIUI, only deoxded rom like xiaomi.eu support xposed. I can confirm xiaomi.eu stable 9.5.3.0 support v90 beta2 (not beta3) and no need to disable resource hook. Xiaomi.eu is China based rom has no AOSP style notification shade. My solution is to install MIUI 8 Tweaks module and enable always expanded notifications, it's a bit ugly but does the job.
It would be really appreciate If someone knows how to deoxde official rom.

yeah dude rooting is easy. Just do the patching file with magisk manager, and flash with fastboot) like you would anything else. getting quite worried that viper won't install at all. I don't want to have to use James DSP which sucks in comparison.

I've been using it since I couldn't get V4A to work on OP8P, its easy to install and working great. It's not as extensive as V4A but does a good job in sound processing.
Guys! Op here. I figured it out! believe it or not there's an easy fix. If you simply install James DSP first. After that, the 2.7.21 DeWitt version of viper for Android will install the drivers and process just fine. Sound goodness is back on this device! Just make sure legacy mode is checked off.

Unlocking your bootloader, installing a custom recovery (mainly TWRP) and flashing MIUI.eu rom will not affect PlayStore and SafetyNet Attestation API.
Rooting your device (or more commonly known as installing Magisk) will cause it. There is a workaround called MagiskHide, but if there's nothing really important you needed to root I would say just flashing the MIUI.eu rom is way more than enough.

Any roms that does not come preinstalled with Magisk should have no issues with SafetyNet API.
And according to XiaoMi.eu website they are collaborating together with the XiaoMi official developers so your warranty is not voided.
