I have a few years ago my LG g8x from germany (Deu). But i am using it in chile.
From one moment to another i let the mobile network be detected, if it detects the sim card, but does not detect any signal, i only connect vía WiFi.
I dont have much knowledge on the subject, so i turn here for help.
Thanks so much for reading.

I have an LG Optimus G Pro F240 for 6 months and it has bern great. I live in Ireland. I can use vodafone and O2 sim cards no problem. I recently gave it to my brother who has a tesco sim and for whatever reason the phone thinks its roaming. For me that wouldnt be a problem but my brotherlikes turning off data connection to save battery and when it thinks you are roaming you cant turn off data network.
Can anyone please help me with this issue
Hi all,
I am from Malaysia, using Maxis network.
Few weeks ago I bought a F400S LG G3.
The phone is showing Korean time as home time in lock screen, and everything it does is refering to Korea.
Also, the phone is not connecting to LTE band 3/7.
It's my first time using an oversea (SIM locked?) phone. Would be glad if anyone able to point me to fixing it.
Sorry for the brief description.
Thanks.
Hi
I bought a Lg G Pad devise (VK810) form amazon, I knew that it was manufactured for V mobile but I stupidly thought it will work on my country LTE frequency (2600,2300,1800) ,I tested different sim card I find out that the devise recognize the sim but never receive any signal
Is it a software problem that could be solved by rom or just a hardware problem
My oppo find 7 is 5 months old, was using a vodafone sim in india and was working fine ,when went out of town and entered different area the sim stopped working. Then when i came back to my service area then also the sim was not detected by the phone. Tried different other network sim like airtel, aircel, it did not work, only idea sim was recognised by the phone. I do not know how make my phone detect vodafone network, please advise.

Not sure what's going on with your Wi-Fi dropping connections but losing mobile data on/during a call is normal with 1 modem (such as our devices) with mobile data (not talking about Wi-Fi data). My old Note 2 was the last device I had with separate modems for calls and data (so they both worked at the same time, calls with mobile data). Nowadays they save money and only provide modem on most modern devices (it sucks I agree). Unless youre using VoIP with WiFi you will always lose mobile data (not talking about Wi-Fi, calls should not interrupt Wi-Fi connections so thats a mystery).
One note, be careful with flashing T-Mobile firmwares to other device flavors, this may cause issues with your device as I believe they use specific certs for the (TMob only). I dont have TMobile so I could be wrong, but I am petty sure the TMob firmware is different than all other flavors.
That is normal. Unfortunately VoLTE is very arbitrary and will not work even on unlocked phones from other carriers. Those phones are setup so that VoLTE works just on their network. You lose data because your phone has to fall back to 3G and UMTS to make or receive a phone call. Also, the G710VM from Verizon lacks LTE band 12 even though the hardware supports it. T-Mobile uses LTE bands 2, 4, and 12. Your best bet is to flash the G710ULM USA Unlocked firmware KDZ via patched LGUP using "Partition DL" mode then "Refurbish" mode once again. That will give you VoLTE calling support AND LTE band 12 support. LG's USA unlocked phones luckily always have VoLTE support on USA carriers.
