Hello, first post on the forums. I found my old KF2 and wanted to revive it and make it like a time machine but wanted to set up LineageOS on it. I was flashing and I unfortunately red-screen bricked it.
I bought this Fastboot cable. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0099E59SG/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
Here is the picture of the cable, it looks like other fastboot cables that I have seen online.

I downloaded Amazon USB drivers and installed them, and also checked that the .android/adb_usb.ini has the 0x1949 in it.
KF2 turns on automatically when I plug it into the PC, the screen stays red, and no warning sign appears/green light blinks.
Checked in the Device Manager and the KF2 is being detected as "USB Serial CH340 (COM5)", which is I assume the "chip" or "port" name of the USB that the KF2 has.
Can anyone help me out with this? I have no other way to check if this is a real fastboot cable. For records, I tried connecting a PS4 controller with this but It didn't get detected by the PC.

I uninstalled it, and plugged it in, got the same problem
I updated the drivers, and it shows it as a MTP USB Device and says my drivers are up to date..but the yellow exclamation mark still exists
My phone gets detected in any other PC and laptops. Only in my laptop is it detecting like this
BTW what are those 2 "bluetooth pheripherals" with yellow exclamation marks? Is it related to this problem?
i have done system Restore to 2 days back. No use
Entered into Safe Mode, uninstalled the MTP USB Device drivers, yet when i update drivers this thing comes again.

Hello!
My tablet has died. It shows NOTHING on screen, it doesn't even react to the charger.
This is what happened: I had a stock Argentinian firmware installed and I flashed a stock German firmware (downloaded from Sammobile, same model, normal process, just like always). The flashing process finished, and the tablet didn't turn on anymore.
I have flashed Samsung devices for years, so this didn't happen because of some mistake I made. I have searched everywhere and nothing has been useful.
The tablet reacts to the USB connection because I can hear the sound of a connected device in my computer. But the devices manager shows an unknown device named "EMEI". I've tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, charging it for the whole night, download mode (ODIN doesn't recognize it), recovery, etc. Nothing works.

It suddenly appeared that Amazon fire TVbox didn't work. You could switch it on and then you see the Amazon logo but nothing else would work. - no signal!
We changed the hdmi cable, tried different TVs and different access points. Furthermore we tried to reset the fire box by using the recover menue and the picture was distorted. So the reset did not work.
We connected the firebox with a usb cable (adb works) and a screenshot looked normal.

Hello everyone,
I have a ZE551 that's bricked, thing is I tried the megathread on how to unbrick it but couldn't get it to be recognized by the computer on the Device Manager under Intel SoC (no sound, anything) or on xFSTK.
There are some details that I'm not sure could be relevant:
I can boot into the boot screen where you select the modes (Normal Mode, Recovery, Power Off or Restart Bootloader), the screen is this one:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Even tho it does says "Fastboot Mode" in red letters at the top, I can't get it recognized by either "adb devices" or "fastboot devices".
I can't turn it on when it isn't connected to USB or the charger, aswell. But if I do get it to turn on, I can take it out of the cable without any issues, it keeps looping the logo until the battery runs out. Not sure if that's relevant, tho.
Other than that it just keeps looping on the Asus logo.
If there is any info that might be helpful please let me know.
Thanks for the help!
hi,
1) i am not able to get my unlock code on my Xperia Z5 Premium
here is the doc i follow, : https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/unlock-bootloader/#unlock-code
after having the IMEI, i give my mail address and now?? i can't submit the form
2) i'm unable to start in fastboot mode. On the doc : https://developer.sony.com/develop/...der/how-to-unlock-bootloader/#tutorial-step-2
point 3.3 : On your device, press the Fastboot key (Volume up for most devices, see Useful key combinations) at the same time as you connect the other end of the USB-cable.
press fastboot key while connecting usb cable doesn't do everything
thanks for your help
Are you running Windows?
If so, have you checked the device manager.
There should be no Yellow Triangle or Question Mark like this near the S1Boot Fastboot Device

I didn't get around this yet, but as soon as I got the driver installed, I guess unlocking will become as easy as eating cake...
I actually discovered a solution that could help getting around all this troubles. It's a boot stick called mAid and can be found here
