Hi,
I found multiply apps and tutorials how to acces android mobile from pc via wifi, but found nothing about how to access shared folders of PC (windows 7) from my desire. Is there any app that can do this?
I heard about a program called homepipe for android. But never tried it myself.

I tried homepipe and it works but in free version you have only 10 transfers per month, unlimited is paid and this works through internet (files are accessable everywhere, where is internet connection)...it uploads (using homepipe program in windows 7) files from pc to internet account and dowloads it to phone(using phone app). What is more transfer is very slow.
I am looking for something that is working directly between phone and computer in home wifi network (access is possible only at home, when connected to wifi network)
I see.
I've found these btw:
ES File Explorer
Teamviewer

Hi,
Tried to install Kodi on my firestick, it said it was succesful but when i plugged it back into my tv its not listed in my hdmi channel.
Now adbfire will not recognise my firestick. I installed over wifi using adbfire, using a Mac
Make a Dropbox account.
Make a folder called Fire TV.
Put the apps you want to install on your Fire Stick in that folder, such as the Kodi.apk File.
Login to your Amazon account linked to Fire Stick. Go here - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008K6HN8I/?tag=aftvn-20
Send ES File Explorer to your Fire TV via the Amazon.com website via the Deliver To option on top right.
Go onto your Fire TV, Open the ES File Explorer App.
Scroll down to Cloud. Click it, choose Dropbox and type in your name and password.
Now your Fire Stick has access to your Dropbox. You can install the .apk files directly on your Fire Stick without having to use adbfire or push files anymore from a computer.
In the future when you want to update Kodi or any other apps, just download the file to your phone or PC and drag it into the Dropbox folder. Then you can access it from your Fire Stick.
Is there a way to manage the files/folders on the watch from PC? I mean, I have installed ES file manager on the watch, but working with it in such a small display is not so easy. I would prefer to connect the watch to computer (either WIN or MAC) and manage the files from there.
You can wait for kernel update from alex6600

Hello everyone!
I've an amazon fire stick and i'm trying to transfer some movie from my mac to the stick.
I tried es file explorer but it's very slow,14 hours for 1.13Gb.
Same for bluetooth file transfer.
Is there a way to use the usb connection or a faster way for the wireless?
Thank you!
Hello everyone,
As the title says, is it possible to mount a SMB storage to a local folder of the Android TV? My problem is that I have a NAS attached to a Raspberry which has lots of roms, and on the TV I have installed Retroarch. The problem is that Retroarch can only see local folders, it doesn't have any implementation to access network folders. So what I'm trying to do is mounting that NAS as a local folder here in the TV but so far I got nothing, the best I could do is download an file explorer to access the NAS from the TV but that's it.
I know that the simplest solution would be to disconnect the NAS and plug it in to the USB of the TV (what I'm doing nowadays) but if I could mount that to the TV and still keep it attached to the RPI it would be great.
In case this is not possible (as I'm suspecting) without root, the alternative would be to download the pre-rooted .img from the other thread in this forum and go from there?
Thanks
