i know that the phone is splash proof but what about when the water spash directly the boutons side
i wanna know if there is a sort of protection there to prevent corosion or any damage in the future .

I just received my Redmi Note 5 Pro few days back and took some moment to analyse the phone yesterday and found that 2 places under the screen have dust particles! I thought it might be a special case but then found out my older redmi 5 have about 4 dust particles under the screen! Is this normal? I suggest you set your screen brightness to the highest level and open a white page before analysing your screen and report back. Thanks

if it has dust under the screen go to service centre.... if its between temper glass and screen it womt do much
my phone didnt have any dust under the screen , but built quality on mine was terrible , there was a light showing up on the side of the screen (between the glass digitizer and screen frame) when using the phone in dark environment . and of course the famous multitouch issue .
My OPO got into bootloop , I think I have destroyed volume buttons prints on Motherboard:crying:
Anyone knows from where from I should take jumpers?
hmmm...i don't understand what you meant about destroying the prints on the motherboards but as far as i know you can buy this part and replace the volume button yourself....

probably it's the wrong place & I'm using the wrong wording to ask, but...
My xiaomi redmi note 5 pro is keep on falling from my hand, many times with face down- what makes breaks & scratches on the screen protector...
Is there a case with higher "margins" that will block the fall before it screen hits the road?

I have a mi max 1 and im planning to upgrade to the max 3 version .
I just have a single concern right now ,
That the device has no screen protection like gorilla glass or any alternative ,
I usually don't like screen protectors on the device so if anyone of you didnt put one does the screen has scratches with time or it is scratch free and xiaomi somehow did put a protection without announcing it.
That's exactly what's holding me back from buying this phone.
Hope someone who has experience could chime in and let us know how their Max 3 screen has been holding up.

Sadly it doesn't exist in my country
Use only OEM parts. Many times it's easier to replace the display and frame together.
Any impact great enough to destroy the display can damage the mobo.
If you do it yourself use/follow full ESD protocols.
The individual components are vulnerable to ESD damage. Make sure the relative humidity is 50% or greater. Use a earth grounded wristband and mat (or a bare wood work surface).
