How to disable smart cover? No way to disable in Settings and cannot find flipflap process. It turns off and on the screen randomly.

Hi,
I bought yesterday a S4 mini with an official S-Cover (without S-View)
When i close the cover, my screen does not auto turn off, and stay online 30 seconds.
If turn off it with the button on/off, and open the cover, the screen does not auto turn on.
Smart stay is enabled.
Do you think it's a problem with my flip cover or with the phone himself ?

Settings - My device - Accessory - Automatic unlock checked
Not sure if it works for normal flip cases ( they must have a magnet that triggers a sensor in phone )
S-view cases have that magnet

Automatic unlock is checked, yes.
I will check with a friend who have a s-view case, maybe there isn't magnet in mine.
Doubt it turns your screen off if I remember my old cover.
It only turns your screen on when opening it
I don't know if it is a bug but if I disable the moto display, the screen will not turn on when a notification comes in. Is there a way to enable the default Ambient Display?

Seems I overlooked this post, I was wondering the same thing!
Was anyone ever able to get stock ambient display (not Moto Active Display) working?
I ave tried all configs and disable all moto app with no success, when i disable the moto display app the ambient display setting appears but the phone doesn't wake when a notification comes in... ¿Maybe it needs a root thing, xposed or something else?
I was also hoping for a solution to this, I would love to use ambient display.

I'd like to know if it's possible to avoid wakening up the screen by opening certain flip cases?
Or better: Is it possible to change the full wake up to the blacked out notification screen? Because of of the times I only flip my phone open to check if there are any new notifications. Wakening up the entire screen is a little bit of waste of battery IMO (I know it's only for a few seconds, but still...)

My simcard cable got a small broken so the phone continuosly lock and unlock with flip cover.
I satisfied with Mokee ROM, I had disable Flipcover in setting to stop cover function. But my phone immediatly turn screen on after screen off/locked and always keep screen on.
I don't want to buy a new replacement for old phone so could you guys please show me how to disable the hall sensor or auto screen on function.
I'm using Cleanstock ROM now and it doesn't turn screen on after lock.

My tcl20 pro doesn't wake screen with notifications. The notion is greyed out. Any ideas?
I think it is because you have flip cover mode at "on"
