First, the APK was "LM (FOS).APK"
Right after I ran it, it hung. After that, I couldn't get it to boot. Tried everything, including wiping data.
Fast forward to today: Still stuck at white "fire tv" logo with 3 dots moving on the lower right.
I have flashed 6.2.6.8, 6.2.7.1 all with no succuss.
Then reran kamakiri from the first step.
Still nothing beyond the white 'fire tv' logo.
Is there any hope for this?
I would have to say, the only thing it doesn't want to do is finish the boot, otherwise, it's flashing everything I throw at it.
Did you also wipe dalvik when you wiped data in TWRP? If not, boot back into TWRP and wipe dalvik and data, see if that helps.
Give it a few minutes when you get to the white logo, first time setup takes extra time over a regular boot.
I've wiped dalvik, data, factory reset so many times that I'm sure it's not the issue.
Just tried kamakiri again, still stuck.
Also, I flashed rbox's 6.2.8.1_r3 just to give something else a shot.
Where is a pure Amazon stock rom for the 4K/mantis? I'd like to see if it will ever boot up again.
Bone stick 6.2.6.8 to boot up helped. Went to 6.2.6.8 patched right after it booted. All is good now

Went into recovery and wiped data, cache, dalvik then went to install Fresh 3.4.0.1. It was done installing and I gave it a reboot. At first I thought it was just the first time installing a rom that was making it take forever to boot up, but I fell asleep and just woke up, and that definitely wasn't the problem. It's still on the boot screen with the white background and black htc EVO 4G. I haven't been able to get into bootloader so far.
Any ideas?

I had a similar problem once. I would just get stuck at the splash screen no matter if i tried going into recovery or just normally booting up. What fixed it for me was to just take the battery out and leave it out for 5 minutes. Try putting it back in, booting into bootloader, then into recovery. From there try wiping everything and then installing Fresh again.
Also, make sure you are using Amon_RA recovery, as it correctly wipes everything.
yea try that what he said. take the battery n try it one more time n see if that works
Flashed Myn's R4, and then flashed Warmlines boot animation. Now stuck in Warmlines boot loop. Power/Vol+ doesn't get me into Clockwork Mod, and ADB cannot detect my device. The only way to stop the reboot cycle is to remove the battery. I have searched the forums and Google using the terms Evo 4G and Boot Loop, but haven't found a solution yet. Suggestions?
*Power/Vol- seems to be the right path to take. Please disregard this post until I do something else idiotic.

Your phone didn't like the boot animation eh. Pull the battery out. Let it sit out for a couple minutes. Put it back in. Hold Power and VolDown simultaneously until it loads up the bootloader, then release. Wait for it to scan the sd card, youll see some stuff scroll down the screen real quick. Then select recovey. Once you're in recovery, wipe everything 2 or 3 times (data, cache, davlik cache) Now you can either restore a nandroid backup if you have one or reflash Myn's RLS4. That should be successful, then reboot. I guess you could try reflashing the ROM without wiping data, but I would suspect that to still leave you in a bootloop, but maybe not. It would be worth a try to reflash the ROM without wiping data, and see if it boots and if it runs okay. Otherwise wipe data.

So I flashed gedeROM, but I still liked the stock better, so I went back to restore. I did a factory reset(TWRP,Wipe), wiped the cache and dalvik's cache. Then I did a restore. When it was restoring, it just went to TWRP screen(where it says Team Win with a blue backround). So I rebooted and All that happens is that it tries to boot, turn off, turns on, and tries to boot again. I am going to try to put my restore back on because I already used it yesterday and it worked fine, so either it got copied to my Kindle wrong or its the gedeROM. Any advice. The quick answers I need is, if I flash the 6.3.1 update.zip, will it delete my SD Card?
EDIT: It turns on to the fff. I choose normal boot. Then it says booting. And then it turns off. and it keep on doing this.

Are you sure your battery is charged?

Flashing 6.3.1 will only touch the bootloader, recovery, boot, and system partitions.
maybe you should try gederom a new version just came out and netflix works!
ok so heres what happened. this morning my phone started behaving weirdly. then it restarted and got stuck in a boot loop. I was running the newest aokp release. after the boot loop i restarted to recovery, i was using the team win one. i wiped cache and dalvik and restarted...still only to boot loop. next i tried factory wiping and reinstalling rom. still same thing, only then i couldnt clear the cache. if i tried it would just reboot.
on lunch break i figured id just odin back to stock. after playing with it a few times i got it to flash the stock back. after it rebooted the first time it went into recovery to clear the caches like it should but there was a red message saying cant locate efs or something. there was about 4 lines in red saying pretty much the same thing. and it said manual mode at the bottom.
ive tried wiping caches and restarting a number of times. I fallowed both the guides from the development section and from the general section. so i currently have the stock ics odined on the phone. it will boot to the rom and start. made it through the upgrading android part then once it gets to the home screen it will sit for a minute then reboot again and just boot loop. i can clear cache and make it boot back up but it just restarts after a few secondds.
please anyone know what to do? this is my second gs2.
I tried to update to the latest update to the Razer Phone and was able to install it successfully, but when I went to install Magisk on the new update, it caused the Wifi to stop working. For that reason, I tried to restore my old TWRP backup I made prior to updating which everything was working before updating. I wiped cache, dalvik, data and system and restored my old backup. Now when I try to boot, it gets stuck at the Razer logo and doesn't get past that. I also tried wiping data and restoring the system image only to no avail and it didn't do anything.
Have you tried booting to TWRP and booting The other [email protected]
How long did you wait on the Razer logo.. When I reset my phone after relocking it.. It took 10+min for first boot. I was scared it wasn't gonna work but I just left it alone and it eventually booted itself up

Thanks. I'll try that and see if it works. But I let it sit for 5 or so minutes.
Edit: I'll go ahead and add it was stuck at the Razer logo. It never got to the actual boot animation.
Edit 2: I let it sit for 20+ minutes and it wouldn't boot or get past the Razer logo.

Yes I've tried switching slots and it didn't work.
Any luck with the stuck at logo screen? I followed instructions from Razer and fkashall and now it won't boot to recovery download or system . It just hangs at the logo screen for better part of 2 hours now so it's not a waiting game .. any luck in fixing yours?
hi there, same here after flashing google pixel experience on razer phone1. seems to be a general problem for many users. Any hints?
Best regards
Michael
I have the same problem, but I wasn't updating or installed any new app. I was just ordering food from an app and then all of a sudden my phone restared and got stuck in a bootloop.
I reflashed the stock rom, over and over, slot a or slot b, hoping that would fix it somehow... it's just stuck there now. I could go into download mode and recovery mode. but, it's only until there.
now it's bootloop until it gets into download mode...

I could fix it. After flashing (even Android Pi) you have to do a factory reset.
IMPORTANT: THE FACTORY RESET IN TWRP DOES NOT WORK. So you have to flash the boot-sector in your system partition with the stock boot.img and reset to STOCK RECOVERY by typing "fastboot reboot" and pressing the vol-up button. Once in stock recovery, do a factory reset and return to bootloader. Now you can flash the boot.partition with twrp boot.img, install in recovery the stock boot.img, install the twrp-installer.zip and reboot to system. The bootlogo will not stuck anymore.
I hope, I could help you. Do not forget to backup before trying.
