Good morning everyone, owner of a Poco F3 miui 13.0.11 miui global ,
as of today I find myself with strange white rectangles instead of symbols inside the spotify app, of course between testing , I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it without hesitation , do you have any suggestions on this bug?
Other note: scrolling through the spotify covers before showing the images a few seconds before the white rectangles are also seen there then the image appears.
thank you all for your cooperation

Something you should report to Spotify. Also try reinstalling.
I have already tried re-installing Spotify three times with different versions
It's your MIUI font, change it to default

firstly before any confusion, i am not wanting to know how to change the background on the today screen.
i have recently dabbled with a few new themes and have realised that whilst the majority of the OS falls in line with the theme, the phone "app" refuses to change it's background to anything other than a blue-dark blue gradient
the model is specifically an O2 orbit, and I have recently updated to the official WM6 ROM
could problem be somethin to do with the O2 software that is installed (because i believe the gradient background is the BG for the defaul O2 theme)
i know this is a trivial, minor problem, but i've got my phone looking so nice & it's a shame to have such a different background on a feature of the orbit (the phone app, that is) that should be nicely integrated into the rest
thanks for any help,
Nick
anyone??
this would be a great help if someone could let me know how to do this, my phone would then be looking slicker than an oil spillage
hi,
when i find the picture i want through file explorer i just tap and hold down and it and click "Set as today background"
that works for me.
or click settings and click today and you should see browse, click and find the background you want.
silly me, didnt read your post properly, sorry!
hello,
recent i changed my top bar, after i read many threads about it. Like in the "post ur hd screens" thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445497&page=5) i had the same problems at the beginnig, like it's said there on page 5. After some work with that, i fixed the problem, and got the colored icons. Now to my problem:
The strange thing is having normaly colored icons (like it should be) in offline-mode, but not when i connect with vodaphone.
I attached 2 pics, which show the problem. I saw in many posts, that there normally should be a colored "atenna" aswell, but whatever i do...something must be wrong, coz i never reached that destination!
i hope it'll be just a little problem and any1 can help me with that.
I had the same problem with my old top bar so I downloaded the one that I added in this post and the problem was gone
Please note that the start button changes into the HTC logo. If that is a problem for you, there is a version without the HTC logo around on the forum
Offcourse you first have to delete the old version.
thx, works fine, exepting some things, like the windows symbol and and older version of the clocksymbol
but nvm, this is quite good
Hello everyone, I am an Italian partially sighted, and then I have big problems of view. I note with regret that Android is very configurable, but with more difficulty.
I have a HTC Desire with root privileges.
I would simply like to change most of the interface, not pleasure, but to use it, for example, I have to change anything that has white background with black background and then put white text, here's a list:
- Change backgrounds with blacks and whites to white text (it is called high-contrast)
- Change buttons with clear background and insert new ones with black background and white text
- A little larger all the characters
- Enlarge icons
- Have all black keyboard with white keys
- Have different software with a black background and white text
How do you see there.
I am a programmer and I also know Java and I have the android SDK installed, the only lacks experience in this system since I got two days ago.
I installed without success, Open Home, in the sense that I did not get good results.
Can you help?
I am willing to install something already done or create something from scratch I just do not know where to start, I know that Android is based on the topics of XML, but I do not know where in the system, such as retrieve and re-enter .
Excuse me for my bad english
Thank you all.
Ale
I would be interested in the results that could be achieved by one of the active themers around here, in response to OP's request.
I do not have the difficulties that OP does with his vision, but I think that black everywhere with white text is far more attractive. I'd be especially interested in a mod for the GMail app, Market, People, etc.
I hope someone can help out so the OP can really get some use out of his phone
After some reading, I've managed to install Swype and it works great on some applications. However like others I'm having the white text on white background issue. I'd read that it's possible that a themed Swype or A100 theme (are there any?) install might fix the issue. Can anyone recommend a theme that fixes this or any other fix? Thanks.
hi! i'm new here in XDA, i just want to ask: how have you installed Swype on the A100? I've tried it but i can't! I always get a message saying that the screen resolution isn't supported! (or something like that). Thanks in advance!
If memory serves me correctly, I googled for user-posted versions of swype.apk instead of swype-installer.apk (I think the installer does the resolution check). Unfortunately I started on this several weeks ago with a gap of plenty of time to forget. I think this will get you headed in the right direction though.
I don't know how, but the version I had installed (a version that didn't fit to the screen) suddenly is correct.. But I have now the same problem that you have (white text).
Another thing, can I change the size of the keyboard? I thought with this version (tablet optimized) I could. Or what is the version for this? Thanks!!
Hello, I have a problem with my phone for a while, it came to my attention when I was on white images like this forum background, I went to google and I did a little research, I read things like Display Smearing/Ghost but this is not my problem at all, Let me try to explain (my english is not good) its like I can see Messages app (default app on androids to text) I can see it, barely, like the keyboard QWERTY I can see alomost all the letters, I can even see sometimes the SEND button, I dont know if you are understanding what im trying say..
Example : Im on this forum / twitter with a white background and I can see the Messages app , the keyboard letters etc, imagine photshop with a normal image, white background, then you add a text and then you reduce the opacity of the text making it barely visible
Anyone familiar with this problem? It can be solved?
Thanks for your time and sorry for my english.
