Just a quick question. Why were you trying to change LTE On/Off in the Engineering Screen? Were you only trying to enable LTE bands or did you have a problem with your data connection? If you were having data problems before downloading the Field Test app, did you know there are some know data issues with CM13. Did you lose your LTE connection?
Also, what gave you the idea to download QPST & QDXM? Do you have prior experience with these applications?
Also, since you have CM13 installed on your 5x, did you try and restore a backup in TWRP that you have saved to see if it corrected your problem?
Which carrier are you with?

Hello,
thank you for your answare, and sorry for my english.
Before problem phone was new and all was worked, but i tryed make some changes, because i searching solution for changng band and editing priority for diferrent LTE band.
Now my problem with no connection on lte is solve, i write zeros to partition modem1 and modem2 from modem filesystem and modem itself after restart phone reset factory setting, but i dont now where modem took IMEI, because i think IMEI is save on this partition...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But i still dont understed why, after reboot changes on line ID 06828 and ID 06829 comming back originaly number .
Bestest solution for me wold be if i find in NV parameter band priority according signal strenght. Or some application (IN Phone) for disabling and enabling all LTE band without computer.
My most-used bands is : 800,1800,2600Mhz

Shortcut Master Lite in the Play Store will allow you to access the LTE Engineering to set band priority. Open the app and click the 3-dot menu In the top right corner. Click on "secret code explorer" and allow the list to populate. You will be looking for a numbered code like "3282” or "33284". Click on each one, select explore from the menu and look thru each selection. The one you will be looking for will say something like Sprint LTE bands editor. You can enable bands 25, 26 & 41 and set band priority. When asked to enter your MSL, enter 000000 and tap verify. You can figure the app out. It takes a little time to get used to how the app works. Good luck and let me know if you need any more help.
P.S. I dont know why you would start changing NV values without any experience using QPST & QDXM. You can make a mistake very easily. Be careful when making changes. I would start fresh by fastboot flashing the factory images, bootloader and radio and start over. Just my opinion.
What carrier are you with and where are you located?

Why i start Edit without experience ? It is easy, because i need get experience
Band 25,26 And 41 is not important for me.
I need disable and enable and set priority for 800 1800 and 2600mhz, quickly from the phone...
My location is czech republic and switzerland.
I've been testing this phone for a while and it seems like a lot of the menus have been disabled. I'm creating a list of what works and what doesn't in these next few posts.
Note: I do not provide any support with the use of these codes. The thread is for documentation purposes.
What works:
5689#*993# (HiddenMenu) - Device Testing Menu
##27263# (##BRAND#) - Removes any carrier branding and redetects the carrier based on (NV registry/RUIM/SIM?).
Note: Useful if flashing to Boost Mobile or similar carrier.
##72786# (##?????#) - Resets provisioning and makes phone reactivate.
Useful if you are having network issues. Sprint recommends this if you ever change your services or phone number.
##72786# (##UPDATE#) - Updates cellular data profile and configures service. Also causes a firmware update check.
##786# (##RTN#) - Factory reset. Erases everything!!! RTN is short for return?
##3424# (##DIAG#) - Pulls up DIAG menu with option to enable or disable.
Selecting "Enable" allows Qualcomm Mode when the phone is set to "Charging mode" while ADB debugging is disabled.
##3282# (##DATA#) - Pulls up cellular data settings menu. You can view settings by choosing options and this also lets you adjust PRL settings with your MSL code.
##33284# (##DEBUG#) - Pulls up reception statistics, connectivity, and misc device information.
##564# (##LOG#) - System Error Log. Have options to clear or copy to storage. Viewing it will show Last kmsg, crash log, or ANR log.

##72786# Resets provisioning and makes phone reactivate. Useful if you are having network issues. Sprint recommends this if you ever change your services or phone number. Reboots phone.
##873283# Updates data profile and configures service - Causes a firmware update check (##UPDATE#) Reboots phone.
##786# Factory reset. Erases everything!!! (##RTN#) Reboots phone.
##3424# Allows Qualcomm Mode while in Charging mode when ADB is disabled. (##DIAG#)
##3282# Data menu allows you to view and edit your provisioning setting if you have your MSL code (##DATA#)
##33284# Network debugging menu. Gives information about network status. ##DEBUG#

##72786# stands for ##SCRTN# which my best guess is sprint carrier return. or in other words carrier settings reset.
Now i got a sim crad invalid, cofiguration cellphone stuck (I can avoid pressa all buttons) and a message "power off device and inster the sim card that came with you phone, then restart"... and that is a problem, I'm not in USA ._.

Try taking out the sim card and booting up. Then reinsert the sim card and reboot.
5689#*993# - works for hidden menu

Did you solved it? same problem here!
If you have invalid sim on another carrier, try inserting the sprint sim and going to system update menu, then hit unlock uicc and it will reboot, then again go to system update and hit update profile then update prl. Then power off and insert the other sim and it should recognize it. Tell me if it works.

You have to get the UICC Profile Update from Sprint.... Call the International Team or chat with them online and ask to be UICC unlock, if asked why, you're about to travel abroad... This UICC Update might affect the Domestic Unlock. At one point my device was domestically unlock, but now it isn't. (Maybe because I did a hard reset.) **Never Reset After Unlock, I learned the hard way lol

Thanks I got it unlocked finally again from sprint...
Other sims are working fine..
When I insert ATT sim card then if network mode is automatic then it shows 3G always and speed is too low tested with speedtest. If I change network mode to LTE-CDMA option then speed test is 4-5mbps but then calling does not work.. When i dial any no with LTE-CDMA mode then it says sim is not valid or there is no sim.
Will ATT not work fully with LTE on automatic mode on sprint LG G6?
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Well, I have a z play bike, upgraded to version 7.1.1 of the Android, patch from July 1, 2017.
My device recognizes my SIM card and the number appears on the same tab, but it is out of service!
I picked up my wife's device for a configuration question.
Moving from here and there, looking and comparing, I saw that everything was really identical, taking something out.
Entering the phone information by typing the code * # 4636 # * # *, I saw that the only thing that differs from my wife's is the option "Cellular radio power" that my device is not active!
Another error was that when I try to make a call, it appears that I have to turn off the airplane mode to make a call being that it is already disconnected and at the moment of the call, on top of the name of the person to whom I am calling, a quick "Radio off" message. I entered the phone application and went to settings> call accounts> Select my chip (TIM), yes it is written TIM !!> but when I click on additional settings it the configuration error of the call (Network error or SIM card). I already tested other chips and nothing, I believe it is the option that I can not activate. Can anyone give me a light ? Sorry my English, I'm Brazilian and I can not understand the language very much. Thank you!
Did you try to hard reset?

Yes, I did. I have already upgraded to version 7.1.1, I have already returned to version 7.0. Before it was in version 6.0 and also did not work. The funny thing is that he reads my chip and shows up to my phone number. When I try to make a call, he asks to turn off the airplane mode and above the name of the person I'm calling the radio appears disabled. I believe it is the power option of the cellular radio that is not activated! One thing is for sure, it is not software. Any idea ?
I litte noob in hardware problems, i have two assumptions, the first thing i think is if install a custom rom and then flash stock rom and lose IMEI (to check type in dialer *#06#*) if this happens and you don't have a EFS Backup, sorry but theres nothing to you make, the only way is changing the motherboard, my second teory is can a problem from Tim Sim Card, you to try others sim cards and see if working in your device, if its works just go in Tim Store and pass your number to other sim card
Obs : i brazillian too and in past i have a lot problems with tim sim card.

If nothing works you can make a last software try, and reinstall all the modem part of system, taked from stock image
This can help
It is about 3 weeks I cannot send and receive SMSs. It is Lumia 950 XL on T-mobile. I called help to T-mobile. An agent did not help, send me to tech support they did not help, opened ticket it did not help too. I've reset APN several times and reset phone but it did not help. I put SIM to another phone (Lumia 920) and was able to send and receive SMSs. So the problem is in Lumia 950 XL settings or updates.
The question is what I can set, change or check on my Lumia 950 XL?
Did this just start happening and you were fine before? Or is this a newly activated sim in this phone or a new phone setup was done? What region are you in?
It is possible something did not fully provision or failed provisioning during setup or after the sim was inserted. Might be able to reset the modem config and it might help...let me know the answers to those questions.

It was fine before. I was using sms a lot. My region is Saint Louis, MO. Unfortunately the phone doesn't have history of updates but I remember about 3 weeks ego was some big updates. Maybe that updates were changing something or sometimes when the phone in my packet and somebody sending a sms then phone screen is activating for a while in packet and any random "clicks" occur and can turn off or on something.
@ildarado
Have you ever reset your Lumia with the Windows Device Recovery tool? Do you have the Windows Device Recovery tool installed?
Maybe we can have you run a thor2 command to reset the modem configurations...
Edit: Also, you checked your SMS/MMS settings correct? Nothin is missing or changed?

SMS/MMS settings are correct. I checked and T-mobile agent checked. Will thor2 command work in Lumia 950 XL with double SIM?
Reset the phone will be my the last resort if nothing else helps.

Yes it will. You are not resetting the phone to factory OS settings. Just the modem configuration can be reset to factory. I mean without knowing why you lost this functionality it is hard to say if this will work or do anything at all. It might make things worse I don't know. But ya then the last resort is to do a reset of the phone from the phone not with thor2.

I had the same issue. I removed the MMS APN and the regular lte apn, reboot, let the phone update to the T-Mobile provided network settings, reboot, and I didn't have an issue after that. Might as well try it. Then move on to thor2 command and maybe a reset. BTW mine works and the mms apn field is blank, data apn is listed as default and when checked is the fast.t-mobile.com apn. This did happen to me after updating years ago.

Ya that is a good idea. Any manual apn settings can be removed to allow the phone to populate them organically when it reboots or needs to.
Hi,
I have similar issue happening since 2-3 weeks now on two phones: Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 Dual Sim. All of the suddne SAM reception/send stops working ... rebooting the phone helps. This is new issue related to the SMS app upgrade done recently.
thanks,
Arfel
arfel66: rebooting the phone did not help.
nate0: I did not find thor2 command to reset only modem configuration.
corvettezo7sp: I do not have T-Mobile phone so APN MMS needs to be set manually.
I did hard factory reset and it works now. As I expected I've lost some settings. One of the important was apps layout. That is why I was scare of this.
Thanks to everybody for help.
It is: thor2.exe -mode uefiflash -ffufile <path to and name of the ffu file> -do_factory_reset -skip_flash -reboot
The "-do_factory_reset" restores modem fsg partition to modem fs1 and erases modem fs2. This essentially reloads all the stock nvi settings and reinitializes the sim card on reboot.
