Set to be launched in February, the V Max is the culmination of Doogee battery superiority. On a single charge, it is capable of reaching up to an impressive 2300 hours on standby. According to marketing materials from the company, it can last for up to 25 hours of gaming, 35 hours of streaming, 80 hours of music, and 109 hours of phone calls.
It also comes with a reverse charge feature which allows using the Doogee V Max as a power bank to charge other devices. Indeed 22000mAh battery is excessively big so to charge it, the V Max comes with a 33W fast charger.
But there is more to the V Max than its massive battery. For starters, it runs on the premium MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor. Fabricated using TMSC’s 6nm process technology for better energy efficiency. That's not all, the RAM on this phone can reach up to 20GB - 12GB base RAM and 8GB of expandable RAM. Paired with a base storage of 256GB which can be expanded up to 2 TB using a microSD card, this is the fastest memory and chipset pairing.
Moving on to other features, the front of the V Max is covered by a 6.58-inch 120Hz FHD+ display. The IPS display features include a 19:9 aspect ratio, 401 PPI, and a peak brightness of 400 nits. It is protected from scratches by a layer of corning gorilla glass.
Even though the V Max is a rugged phone, it doesn't skimp on its camera sets. Its primary camera is a 108MP Samsung HM2 camera sensor. The second camera is a special one. Best this sensor from Sony is a night vision camera that is capable of taking pictures and videos in total darkness. Two infrared lights on the side make it possible. The final camera on the back is a 16MP ultra-wide camera with a 130° field of view. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie clicker from Sony.
The V max comes with dual stereo speakers that are tuned by Hi-Res. As expected it comes with the IP68 and IP69K ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification, a fast responsive capacitance fingerprint sensor on the side, and four navigational satellite GPS systems (GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and GPS). It also features NFC, dual nano sim card, and TF card slot.

Any guide for root of this device ?

Wonder if the Sony IR cam works in daylight; IR photography? 2tb expandable storage, hoorah!
It's got something Samsung's are grossly lacking today, bold innovation. It should have satellite reciever capability though... too bad it doesn't have a AMOLED display as these be the cherries on the top.

LeEco Le Max review, best phablet your money can buy....!!

Hello guys, I am Rakesh, a tech blogger. This is my review about the LeEco ( formerly known as LeTv ) Le Max #Superphone which is said to be one the best phablet available on sale in India. The device is manufactured by the global internet giant LeEco which has an online platform with content, devices and applications.

The handset is priced at Rs 32,999/- and LeEco claims they are selling these devices at a price which is below the production cost. This is possible because they’ve partnered with various companies for their ecosystem. For now, they have partnered with Eros Entertainment and YuppTV. Also, every phone comes with 1 year worth YuppTV Premium for free.
Design and display:
The LeMax is unquestionably a good looking handset that is particularly great for those who want at a really big screen device. Its metal body gives it a premium look and feel, and the phone seems sturdy.
The front of the phone particularly looks spectacular due to the edge to edge running display, with very thin bezels. LeEco has smartly played with the front design, as you will not be able of notice the narrow bezel on side of display until you wake the screen up.
This makes the display look even bigger and the front look pretty, speaking of display quality, the 6.3-inch display with 2K resolution with 2560x1440 pixels display is a visual delight and absolutely stunning. It reproduces colours well and offers good viewing angles.
Bottom side of the phone is home to USB Type C port and speakers and the top has a slot for audio jack. The left and right sides have power key, volume keys, Wi-Fi HDMI port, and slots to accommodate SIM card.
Fingerprint Scanner
If you have big hands then you won’t face any problem in reaching the fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the phone below the primary camera. The fingerprint scanner is fast and can be used to capture photos as well.
More and more apps coming up with support for Fingerprint Scanners will make the Fingerprint Scanners more useful than they already are adding an extra level of security to the apps as well, especially apps from which you carry out monetary transactions.
Chipset, RAM, Storage.
A good display needs some good horse power to push all the those pixels, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 seems to be a worthy contender. The Le Max sports a 2.0 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset with the Adreno 430 running the graphics and the multi-tasking handled by the 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM module. Internal storage for our review unit was limited to 64GB and the smartphone does not pack in support for external storage.
During our hands-on, we noticed no lag whatsoever while browsing, opening apps and even multi-tasking.
OS, Connectivity:
Keeping the content services in mind, LeEco has done a good job with the software. Our hands-on with the device showcased software that allowed for plenty of customisations. the Le Max runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with the EUI (Eco User Interface) skinning that delivers plenty of useful touches that can be found throughout the UI. Like for example, the keypad grid for the lockscreen will show up on the right or the left side, depending on where you swipe up to unlock.
LeEco has literally packed in everything it could find. You get a MHL 3.0, USB Type C, 3.5mm audio jack, Wireless HDMI, 4G bands, WiFi 802.11ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 with APT-X, GPS, an IR blaster and finally NFC.
Camera:
The Le Max sports a 21MP primary camera with a dual-tone LED flash on the back and an 4MP front-facing unit for selfies. The 21MP rear-facing unit packs in a Sony IMX230 Sensor, OIS, f/2.0 aperture and even dual ISP support. The 4MP unit up front comes from OmniVision (OV4688 sensor) and is accompanied by a 81.6-degree wide-angle lens.
Battery
The LeEco Le Max sports a non-removable 3400mAh battery. Somehow we all felt that it was a bit small considering its mammoth size, but it can be attributed to the device’s weight, which is why we think it was justified. Anything bigger than a 3400mAh battery would have certainly made the large Le Max a heavyweight indeed. How long it will last, we can only confirm after our detailed review.
LeEco Le Max specifications:
• CPU: 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor
• RAM: 4 GB
• GPU: Adreno 430
• Operating System: EUI 5.0 based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop
• Display: 6.33-inch 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) LCD display
• Rear Camera: 21 MP auto-focus with Dual LED flash, Back-illuminated Sensor (BSI) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
• Front Camera: 4 MP
• Internal Storage: 64 GB
• Connectivity: 2G, 3G, 4G, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi Direct, MHL 2.0, IR Blaster
• SIM: Dual 4G SIM (Micro + Nano)
• Other: Fingerprint Scanner, Le Hi-Fi Audio, Dolby DTS
• Battery: 3400 mAh Li-Poly non-removable battery
Verdict: At a price of Rs 32,999, LeEco Le Max smartphone is no doubt an excellent phone. It delivers very good overall performance. The mobile comes with sharp display, great camera, good built and decent battery backup.

GizCam GZ20 Pionner - Wi-Fi Action Camera - NT96660 | Sony IMX078 | 16MP | GizApp

Introduction

Hardware
This device is powered by a Novatek NT96660 Chipset with a Sony IMX078 Sensor, so 16MP Resolution is interpolated from 12MP. Maybe the box is right, you can read 12MP here, but official specs together with the software say 16MP.
Official Specs are not so complete, so i do not anything else about the camera. Anyway, i am sure that this is a re-branded SJ8000/SJ9000 with a new firmware.
Unboxing
As most of all Action Camera, its packaging comes with lots of accessories:
1 x Action Camera (of cours
1 x Multi-language Manual
2 x 900mAh Li-ion Battery
1 x Waterproof Housing
1 x Camera Front Cover
1 x 90 Degree Adapter
1 x Bicycle Bracket
1 x Cleaning Cloth
1 x Camera Clip
2 x Helmet Base
2 x 3M Adhesive
1 x USB Cable
1 x Rear Clip
3 x Adapters
2 x Bandage
1 x Base
Following the usual GoPro design, this camera fits inside GoPro accessories and is pretty compact. Just 5.89x4.09x2.46mm.
On the front side there is the Power/Mode button, some words about the camera and the big fish-eye lens.
On the the right side there are the Selection Buttons, up/down, used to manage the menu, increase-decrease zoom, etc...
On the back side there are: the display, not IPS, with a decent resolution, and two LEDs for Power & Activity.
On the upper side there is the OK button with a Yellow LED that seems to be pretty useless because works just like the Activity LED placed on the front.
On the lower side there is just the battery slot covered by the battery door.
Device
Screen
The screen is bright, but being a TN variant, not IPS, the viewing angles are pretty bad. Maybe a better quality display would have been much better.
Camera Sensor Quality
As regards the Sony IMX078 sensor, well...it works sufficiently good for Videos up to 1080p. After 1080p there are no noticeable Quality Differences even though the resolution is higher. All videos have been recorded with Gyro RSC feature, that is Software Stabilization.
Unfortunately, just like on almost all Chinese Action Cameras, the 4K resolution is not real, but interpolated from 2K. Basically, anything over 2K is useless with this Camera Sensor and Chipset. There is no native 4K resolution supported here.
1080p 60fps quality is pretty good, real 60fps video, smooth and with a nice quality.
720p 120fps is weird, this is what is used for Slow Motion and it is definitely broken. The video is saved at 720p 30fps, and the slow motion quality is pretty bad. I would have expected something better.
All other resolutions are not useful to be tested, but you can see almost all supported video res.
I don't know why they call this Stabilization "Gyro" when there is no gyroscope or electronic stabilization here, this is weird. Anyway, it works good enough even if it is software-only, still better than nothing.
Microphone Quality seems to be decent, no complains about it and the speaker quality is surprisingly crisp.
Photos Resolution goes up to 16MP, interpolated from 12MP.
WiFi Feature
The Wi-Fi feature enables this camera to be controlled using an Android or iOS smartphone, using the GizCam GZ20 app.
The App isn't great, old UI and no features at all, but it works completely with no issues at all.
It supports remote playback of stored files, pretty useful for those who do not want to switch the MicroSD card.
Battery Life
The 900mAh battery seems to be hard-to-discharge, i managed to record all test videos and i still have to discharge the first battery! This is awesome, real 900mAh power is here, or maybe even more. Great Battery Life.
Charging Times are high though, it took more than 2 hours to recharge a battery, so please be patient with this process.
Software
The software is easy to use, and features some nice options such as Car Mode, Motion Detection and so on...
Conclusions
Being my first Action Camera review you might have expected something better, and please tell me if you need to know anything else. After all these tests, and considering the price of this camera, i'm not sure if this is a best-buy. The price is too high, even though the quality is decent.
So, do I recommend it? If you can't find anything better at this price, yes, but remember that this won't provide real 4K videos.
Pros:
Great Battery Life
GoPro Accessories Compatible
Bright Screen
Lots of Accessories included
Awesome 1080p 60fps Quality
Cons:
4K 24fps Videos are not real
720p 120fps Slow Motion is weird
No IPS screen
Price is too high

REVIEW
Review of Leagoo M8
DESIGN
The new LEAGOO M8 comes with a 5.7″ display, 2.5D IPS screen with 1280 x 720 screen resolution (HD) and Gorilla Glass 4 to protect it. The M8 comes in three cool color variants namely, Titanium gray, Galaxy Silver and Champagne Gold.
HARDWARE
The hardware is similar to the M5, so under the hood we will find the well known Quad Core MTK6580A clocked at 1.3GHz. With the SoC, the M8 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD.
FEATURES
In the camera department, there are a F2.2 13MP on the back with AF and LED flash. The front camera hosts an F2.0 8MP sensor. Under the rear camera, there is the 0.19s fast fingerprint reader. In addition, the Leagoo M8 comes with Freeme OS 6.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Lastly, the M8 adopts Awinic K7 chip which features Hi-Fi standard sound and Box Speaker to elevate your listening to music experience. 8 MP (SW 13 MP) main camera 5 MP + (SW 8 MP) front camera. Supports Dual SIM and supports only 2 G & 3 G network.
BATTERY
The Leagoo M8 comes with a 3.500mAh battery. The big batter, with the low-power MTK6580A SoC in combination with the 720p resolution, should give an excellent performance and more than one dasy of normal use.
CONCLUSION
The Leagoo M8, the new creation of Leagoo, comes with some good specs. For sure the battery will last for about two days.
Cheapest smartphone
Leagoo M8 have many reason to buy, like a cheapest, bigger screen, huge memory, great battery capacity and Excellent camera.
Looks great!!! Also the Leagoo M8 Pro just got released so might be interesting how that one performs and how much better it really is.

REVIEW:
The Doogee Shoot 2 provides customers with a very interesting value proposition, being the cheapest phone on the market with a dual rear facing camera set up., and boasting premium features like fingerprint unlocking.
The box came with a usb cable, a charger with an Asian 220V plug, and of course the phone. I have tonnes of chargers from my old phones, so the Chinese charger wasn't too big of an issue for me.

The phone itself has a pretty hefty feel, weighing in at 178 g. It has a 5" 720p displa, with the 3.5 mm earphone jack and micro usb port on the top. On the bottom of the phone, it has some holes for the sound to come out. The phone has a fingerprint sensitive home button on the bottom bezel, and a power and volume button on the right side of the phone. The SIM and SD card slot is under the back cover. Overall the device has a good design and feels good in the hand.
The phone runs Android 7.0, and the set up in the beginning was a little troublesome. It was kind of slow and restarted on me. Maybe because the variant I had was the 1 GB RAM variant, and that the problem won't happen with the 2 GB RAM variant. But after the initial set up, and especially after the software update, the phone was much snappier. The phone comes with a little bloatware, as expected from pretty much all manufacturers, but overall the phone still was able to mostly retain the stock android feel. The feel was snappy, and there was no lag. For those who don't like the default launcher, of course you can install a 3rd party launcher (I did Nova Launcher), and replace all the 3rd party apps with apps of your choice. The fingerprint sensor did as it was supposed to, and I had no issues unlocking with my fingerprint, being able to unlock in about a second.
Antutu Benchmarks scored it at 22877, which is as fast as a Moto G3 3rd Gen at 23258.
The 5" screen is very bright, and watching YouTube was fine. The speakers are more than adequately loud as well. Definitely the area where Doogee spent the most time on was the camera app that comes included with the phone. It has tonnes of modes and options for camera enthusiasts to play around with, like ISO, exposure, white balance, etc. The app also has a dedicated Bokeh mode to really take advantage of the dual 5 mp camera lenses. It also boasts a 2x optical zoom, just like what the iPhone 7 Plus has. Truly, the dual lens camera is the highlight feature of the phone.
Last but not least is the battery life. It's phenomenal. With the standby intelligent power saving mode on, I can get about 3 days out of it if I don't touch my phone. Even with moderate usage, I can get a day out of it no problem. That's because it has a 3360 mAh battery. Paired with a screen with 720p resolution, that means the Shoot 2 can last much longer on a battery of this size compared with a Samsung S8, with it's 1440p screen.
Overall this is a great entry level phone, designed especially for those who want to snap some great photos without having to fork over hundreds for the higher end phones. Other than the hiccup during the initial set up, there were no issues with the phone at all, and from the time I got the phone and wrote the review, there were 2 OTA updates available for the phone. I look forward to the continued support from Doogee to keep this phone up to date.

Huawei Y7 Prime (2018): A Premium Looking Budget-Friendly Device

Huawei recently released a budget-friendly device in the smartphone market this March, 2018— the Huawei Y7 Prime (2018). With Huawei's naming scheme, it is also known as the Huawei Nova 2 Lite in some region like the Philippines as well as India.

With its design, the Huawei Y7 Prime (2018)has a similar design cues to other Y(2018) series as well as the P Smart. It has a unibody design, a shiny mirror-looking back, and metallic chrome side. it doesn’t look like a budget device at first glance because it has a premium looking feel. On paper, it’s a fairly large device due to the display with its 18:9 display.
the Huawei Y7 Prime (2018) has a 5.99-inch 720 x 1440 pixels (~269 ppi density) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Just above it are the 8MP front camera, soft light, speakerphone, and sensors. On the left, there is a triple card tray for dual sim and dedicated SD card. On the right we have power/lock button and volume rockers. And as usual, the 3.5mm jack, microphone, primary speaker, and micro usb port are at the bottom.
I'm very disappointed with its camera features. This phone has the same camera with the Huawei P Smart and yet it lacks in punch as well as camera features like pro mode, portrait shot, and night shot. Thus, this phone lacks gyroscope sensor so it will never support EIS.
