Anyone tried it?
I got the update via OTA and installed it on Monday. Runs super well and smoothly. I'm not signed up for the beta program.
i also received update yesterday via OTA..and i'm also not signed in beta program... work smootlhy for now. Funny...until this update i must update always only over VPN provider
Some bugs I've found in this beta:
DT2W sometimes doesn't work
Random screen flickering
Phone gets hotter
mh ihave non of this bugs
What version of realme GT ME do you have?
3363 Have now tested it for a few days and found no bugs. since the update my battery life has also improved. Before the update I had to load every 2 days. Now after 2 days I am at 60% if I do not use the device often.
In realme ui 4.0 we can not update the system apps ???
When you enter in the app information dont exist anymore the three dots in top right corner to uninstall the update.......and after this update with apk versions...???

My friend , you say that those are confirmed bugs on realme forum , most likely the indian region phone model on an indian forum . I don't confirm any of those bugs , had a dirty install (without cache wipe/reset) with no issues and also made a clean install for testing purpose . No heating , no batery drains , no screen flickering and no 5g connectivity issues at all . Phone in discussion is rmx3363 (EU model) on Rui4 with more than an month of usage on the beta software. You should take the phone to a service or at least test-it with another sim installed (for me vodafone 5g is great) i've got the same feedback for both 6/128 and 8/256 mainboards

I'm running it right now, but unfortunately can neither confirm nor deny if Android Pay is working since I live in a country where Android Pay is not (yet?) available.
So im running the rom right now and its all fine except that the battery seems to drain faster than its charging with a 1.5 amp charger.

That's weird indeed, I'm running mine on a 2A charger right now and everything is like with the stock Sony ROM. I had a few apps on my phone which drained the battery pretty heavily before I used Greenify in BOOST mode (btw, systemless Xposed works so far with this ROM).

It definitely works with the Single SIM version, I can neither confirm nor deny if the ROM works with the dual SIM version since I don't have the dual SIM version. From what I can tell the drivers I used don't seem to be compatible with the dual SIM version. If you want to give it a shot, though, feel free to do so and I would kindly ask you to report back with your results.
Waiting for the version for E6533(Dual Sim)
Thx
So i've been testing the rom (rooted) now for 3 days on my E6553 (single sim) and i would say that it's a good rom but right now i wouldnt use it as a daily driver, i (at least) get random freezes and generally a realy slow and jaggy experience when compared to Sony stock firmware .224/.253. And the fact that the Back camera doesnt work in this rom makes it impossible for me to use since i take a lot of pictures and use snapchat. I experienced many problems with charging like the device draining faster than its charging and at sometimes just would not charge at all, tested with 4 different chargers and with another rom. There is also a problem with i think the kernel because when i was watching netflix or youtube after 3-5 minutes the video would start lagging really bad because the cpu was basically sleeping with only one core at about 400 mhz until i tapped the screen so input boost was activated and the device could render the video properly. (the device was not in any kind of power saving mode) If someone continue to develop this rom ide be glad to test the builds for bugs and etc! :cyclops: i would give the rom 6/10 doughnuts, For now im switching back to Stock .253

I also noticed the rather slow experience, especially when installing apps and using the device (especially while switching apps). As for YouTube, I just tried to replicate your issue with the slowdown, but was unable to do so. The back camera not working is afaik an issue all custom ROMs built with the Sony drivers suffer right now (which I also used when compiling this ROM).
Speaking of compiling the ROM, I tried for the last like 4 or 5 days to get another compilation run. I don't know if I will be able to get it to working again (and I did it exactly the same way as I did on my two successful builds). It doesn't seem to matter if I do it on a fresh install of Ubuntu 15.10 or on one I already used for a build, but if I'm lucky enough to be able to select cm_ivy as the device to build for, mka clobber and mka bacon both fail after like a second with the error message that the mk file for the sepolicy cannot be found (which is true, the file is not present, but the same was the case with the other two successful builds).
So all in all, I know the camera isn't working properly (which was an issue I also had with the 32.2.A.0.224 stock ROM), but (at least for me) the audio is working without any problems with this ROM (which was an issue I had with the 32.2.A.0.224 stock ROM, where I was unable to listen to music via the 3.5mm jack), and I cannot seem to get the building process to run for whatever reason.
I think this rom, should be better taken into account ...
The Cyan and 'has always been one of permanti rom.
If there was a way to install it without problems on my E6533 dual sim, I would install immediately ...

Hello Guys, I just bought a Lenovo Z2 Plus and wanted to install a custom rom on it. I did my thorough research through XDA and Youtube about various OREO based custom roms available for this phone. I like the Pixel Experience Rom but I am a newbie in flashing custom roms. I read in few threads about network connectivity issues in the Pixel Experience Rom and Resurrection Remix rom as well. In few of the youtube videos, I saw that the battery backup and Antutu score of Pixel Experience rom is marginally lower when compared to Resurrection Remix.
Can you guys give me your opinion on which rom should I install on my stock device. Kindly please provide the respective rom's Antutu Benchmark scores and Screen On Time especially for the Pixel Experience Rom. Please guide me about the bootloader unlocking and TRWP installation process as well. The last time I did all these was 2 years ago so kindly help me.
Thanks.
I have tried the PE (Pixel Exp) ROM and here my observations on that.
The Good
Extremely fluid. Performance is mind blowing. I have tried 3 Custom ROM so far (AEX, RR, PE) and PE felt the best performing in terms day to day device usage. Feels like PE is meant for Z2 Plus and vise versa. Everything works out of the box, GApps are preloaded, ROM is simple but very effective. All sensors, every piece of hardware included in the phone works perfectly. I never felt it was a custom rom, felt like meant for Z2 Plus.
The Bad
Not just just pixel, this is present in all Custom ROM for me and my device. I am from India, and using Reliance Jio VoLTE.
Now the problem is network reception isn't as good as stock ZUI.
The 2.4GHz WiFi got limited to 72 mbps only. Stock ZUI has no problem, tried changing few ROMs and finally settled with AEX which I see can connect to 2.4GHz WiFi and 150 mbps. I have tried baseband 1.76 (ZUI 2.5.104 ST India) and baseband 1.70 (Latest) for ZUI 3.5.3xx China. Nothing seems to help. Out of 4 ROM, Stock ZUI (2.5/3.5), PE, RR, AEX, only ZUI and AEX are able to give me a 150 mbps wifi link speed.
Now regarding the VoLTE reception. VoLTE works fine but network is fluctuating like hell. For me, the same is present in all three custom rom I have tried. AEX, RR, PE. Tried baseband 1.70/1.76 but couldn't solve it. There are no call drops but network isn't stable at all. Tested with Reliance Jio NetVelocity app for detailed information and it seems with none of the Custom ROM, Phone is able to sustain a stable 2300 MHz link. Falls back to 1800 MHz and 850 MHz randomly. Network speed wasn't bad, infact I would say satisfactory.
Only ZUI seems to have a stable Jio reception for me.
The Ugly
Battery issue. SOT is similar with 3 roms I have tried. PE/RR/AEX but something under PE is causing serious battery drain while idle. Overnight the phone is losing 2.5% to 3% battery per hour. I have tested to different custom kernel. AR-Beast and Heliox v2.0 with PE. Liked AR-Beast better as Heliox would underclock the CPU/GPU. Now with AR-Beast the idle battery drain came down to just around 1% per hour but still higher than default Resurrection Remix (RR ROM) or AEX ROM.
Presently using AEX ROM without any extra modification. Performance isnt as fuild as Pixel ROM but less problematic than others. Infact only ROM allowing me a 150mbps WiFi link speed.
Please guide me about the bootloader unlocking and TRWP installation process as well. The last time I did all these was 2 years ago so kindly help me.

Follow this guide to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP. Then installation processor of ROM will depend on which ROM you select. Note, there are two different ROM type now. 1. Full Treble 2. Non Treble. Installation process are different for them.
Pixel is a non treble ROM. Like 2 years ago, you would feel similar setup process.
If you chose Pixel, after you have unlocked and got TWRP installed,
1. download PE ROM
2. boot into TWRP
3. Wipe system, data, cache, dalvik
4. Flash ROM
5. Wipe Cache
6. Reboot
If all went ok, frist boot will take a few minutes and you will be asked to setup your Google Account under Pixel Exp ROM.
Remember, I am not an expert so wait for others to comment and guide you !! Just sharing from my personal experience !!
Good luck.

You need the NON-TREBLE new trees for PE ROM
Now as I said I am no expert so I dont know if one should flash kernel at one go. I can only tell you what I did.
First I did the PE. Setup the phone and used it for 20 odd minutes while setting up all the things. Then I went on to flash the AR-Beast. Some one suggested me not not turn on the phone immediately after kernel flash. Rather power off from TWRP wait for 10 mins before switch on. I don't know if it is required or not, but I have followed that advice.
Thanks.
@4tanmoy
One small mistake from my end. PE ROM comes with GApps included. So when you flash PE ROM, you don't need to Flash GApps again.

Yes, I did some more research. Flashed PE with UberCool.
After Setup, I flashed AR Kernal and SuperSu.
Installed Google Camera Mod for HDR+ and Potrait Modes.
Flashed Dialer Fix to resolve the dialer problem as it showed that phone is not supported when launching dialer. now fixed.
The PE ui is butter smooth, phone doesnot heats anymore. Charged last night till 100 % and browsed youtube, downloaded my preferred apps from play store, browsed quora for 30 mins, took some pictures. In the morning I played subway surfers, clash royal, some web browsing, downloaded all remaining apps for my phone. The battery is now 59% while I typing this from the phone.
Overall, I am astonished by the PE smoothness and completely satisfied by the battery life.
Excellent !!
Could you please check two things, how is the battery drainage overnight? While phone is idle.
Secondly, what is the WiFi Link speed?
Basically, two of my main problems lol

the wifi link speed is 72 mbps and about battery drainage overnight, i'll post tomorrow morning
regarding battery drain, I slept at 02:40 at night at 21 %. Woke up at 08:15 at 17 %. I guess 1% per hour. I am getting a Stand By time of 20+ hours and Screen On Time of more than 5 hours 30 minutes approximately.

Your data is very similar to what I have experienced with Pixel ROM.
This drainage is one of the issue for which I had to move out of Pixel ROM
Excellent review, I too installed PE and is enjoying every bit of Pixel, but the main problem I am facing is ,my phone's all sensors are dead or not working has tried Zuk Official too The nougat Indian and The Oreo Chinese version, but without any luck proximity gyroscope pedometer and other sensors are not working,
Would like ask someone from the forum to please help me to fix the isaue, as far as Custom rom in Zuk 2 I will stick to Pixel as it is the best till now what ever I have used . I have TWRP installed has flashed sensor.zip available in the Zuk Forum but nothing seems to work.
Waiting for a reply from the forum members it they take out sometime to help a man is distress.

Its a clear sign that something wrong with the hardware.
Do you have warranty left ?
If you do, QFIL 1.9 then flash 2.5 Indian ROM. Everything will be bone stock with locked bootloader and stock recovery. Go and claim warranty !!

Hi guys,
I have the mi Max 3 unlocked, with TWRP and rooted.
I have been running it with RevOS and now with GSI Havoc...
But there seems to be a real problem with the GPS ! It's super slow...
A fix takes about 30 seconds sometimes even more (in the same location, the Honor Note 10 fixes in 3/4 seconds).
And while I traval => "GPS connection lost" happens quite often and it also happens that I get "Searching for network".
Is there a "radio.img" or something like that that I may have to flash to improve things ?
Do you guys have the same when using GPS (like Waze) ?
Or is my device defective ? Should I try to reflash the global ROM for this ?
Thanks for your answers.
I use Xiaomi.EU Rom 8.11.15 (last Oreo updated), used Waze first time this morning and locked in incredibly fast.
Maybe down to the OS you are on?

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Maybe the OS. But now I am using Havoc OS Pie and I have the same problem Super slow fix : like 30 seconds and up to 1 or 2 minutes.
Will try to reinstall original MIUI stock but I fear to get a device with ARB protection (which I would like to avoid).

What version are you on?
If you are MIUI 10, don't go below MIUI 10.
If you are on MIUI 9, like I was out of the box, 9.6.12, you cannot go down. anything above 9.6.8 has ARB really.
I got soft locked and I had to use MiFlash to restore Global ROM.
...or you just clean up the miui from all the ARB related sh*t before flashing it...
Hi guys,
Thanks for your answers...
Definitely ROM related.
I restored stock MIUI 9.8.6.0 (last official with no ARB) and Xiaomi.eu 8/8/9 (latest non official with no ARB) and with those, I got a GPS fix within seconds...
And that quick fix is reproductible...
So : there goes RevOS, which is a pity : it was superb and with lot of added customizations abilities...
Regards.

Hi,
Thanks for the link.
But I must say that I am a little anxious about that
First : it is unclear if I have to LEAVE the listed files in the FW-update folder or if I have to take ERASE those ;
Second : is it confirmed that if I do that, I won't have ARB on my device ? Because it seems that the author is just "speculating" about this and asks for confirmation...
So if you could provide a little more details, I'd be a taker
Regards.
Those are the files you should flash. All others not listed you delete along with the lines in updater-script/flash-all.bat. Haven't tested it myself b/c I don't care about MIUI and I only flash boot, system and vendor to test my stuff I work on. But later on I will have to test it b/c I will need vendor and firmware for my next project. So although not tested these files should be ARB safe, the rest of them removed are bootloader related where ARB resides. But with anything Xiaomi I can't be 100% sure until test it personally. What I can asure you is no ARB if you flash boot, system and vendor only...
BETA Version
Ready to try?
I start....
https://developer.android.com/preview/gsi-release-notes
Is very difficult to make it stable....
Wifi connection and screen lock password issue,
second reboot impossible....
But nice to see this evolution.
Stay tuned, work on it....
Booted googles Android Q gsi. Everything works fine, mobile data, calls, Bluetooth etc. Only secured WiFi is messed up can't connect. Reboot bootloop issue is fixed by deleting vendor/app/
Steps I did was,
-have a fresh install of miui 10.3 (from xiaomi.eu) on to system
-flash Q gsi to system partition on twrp
-after gsi flash, reboot twrp then mount vendor and through twrps file manager locate vendor/app and delete it.
-reboot
And done bootloop after restart issue should be home.
Things I found are sounds are very static and distorted I got it fixed my flashing viper4android and you'll need root for that. Use magisk 19. Also I'm using global version. I'm sure chinese version will be fine but again I'm not sure

No need to port as it will be a GSI

Yeah I forgot about that but as this device is not specifically supported for a beta, it might have issues like previous GSI betas.

The official support would be nice. I understand the mi9, but i don't see the point i mix 3 5g. the user base is too low. It went on sale only week ago. 5g is still few years ahead from global adoption. Mix 3 4g would be better choice for beta testing.

Same here, tried to get it to work but constantly bootlooped
Anyone tried the latest beta?
But...by the end of the year Android Q will be officially avaible as OTA update for mi mix 3 and other Xiaomi phones as confirmed by them. So why messing things up with unifficial GSI "just to try" a new release? I'm not blaming anyone who wants to, but it is really necessary? It's so terrible to stay on MIUI rather than stock or so bad to stay on Pie (both stock or custom) rather than on a newer OS version?
Personally i prefer a stable software (or an almost bug free one at least) than an unstable one with possibly many non working/partially working features. What do you think?
P.s before the bull**** storm by someone:
1) Yes, i used custom roms before on other devices, i liked them and they always made my devices better in terms of performances and upgraded them to the latest OS avabile when the official support ended. (Galaxy SII Plus, Galaxy Tab S2, Honor 8)
2) You can do whatever you want with your device, i really couldn't care less, but wer're on a forum, i'm just taking a conversation to hear other opinions about GSI (or other custom roms) for this devices wich i found to be very fast, complete and battery friendly even without them.
3) Thank you
I couldn't care less
Hi,
I just received a notification this update is possible.
I'm looking for people who have noticed any new issues on this update.
Any issues such as the MIUI optimization slider being hidden in the dev settings or issues with the battery drain, or with the screen.
I'm aware these updates are made to fix issues supposedly but I can't help but think that they could introduce issues as well.

Eu weekly 21.4.8,DC is dimming
The EU MIUI ROM doesn't receive weekly updates at least for my EU MIUI ROM and it's latest version is not 21.4.8. Sorry if I misunderstood something here but could you be a bit more precise about what is EU weekly 21.4.8? I understand that the dimming screen issue is gone thanks.

I did that nothing happened.I must restart the phone now because when I clear data of battery app that doesn't help and reinstall dont work.Battery app is on the phone and shows usage but in app management shows as never used.

If you debloat battery and perfomance app, then screen refresh rate will stay either 120 or 60 until you reinstall that app.
