LG wing no 5G in Switzerland

Hi guys , is anyone experience no 5G network on LG wing ? I mean , even if the carrier and sim support 5G and the area is well covered , setting are not showing 5G /4G/3G ..the phone can only select 4G/3/GSM ...is there any trick or hodden feature to activate 5G bands on the phone ?

I am in China and I have spent a lot of money to get a mobile phone from abroad. ￥9000+= $1400! I can't turn on 5G, there's only 4G in the Settings, damn it! Maybe Verizon and LG won't offer any features for Chinese users, such as Volte calls. After all, I paid $1400. I'm sad.

I'm in China, I paid a high price to buy a mobile phone, but I can't turn on 5g, the Settings are only 4g, ****!

Anyone know which US carrier can use the Redmi K40??
I tried: ATT, Cricket, T-Mobile and Mint but none of them work.

Doesn't support tomany bands US looks like T-Mobile be best I would go with the Poco global F-3 here in the US support's more bands and still T-Mobile/Tello/mint would be your Best bet ,Tello is what I use since they Use T-Mobile towers on my Poco F3 and 5G and volte And WiFi calling all work great

How about POCO F3?? Will it work on the US carriers??

I received my poco f3 and am using it right now as I am typing. For the most part it works. Support for bands is limited though. I think that is the reason why I can't verify my account to unlock bootloader. I can make phone calls fine. The problem is sometimes I don't receive calls or messages are delayed.

Did you read my post I said f3 that's what I would go with US T-Mobile or any carrier that piggybacks off them like tello and mint

T-Mobile

I'm using Cricket and Ultra. I brought the K40 want to use Cricket but didn't work. Tried Mint also no luck. Then it's working with Ultra.
I need one to use Cricket so thinking about POCO F3 or Xiaomi 11 Lite or 11i.
Also I live in Hawaii that T-Mobile is very weak !!!

if your having problems with T-Mobile you either have the wrong sim card or your SOL

I do not recommend buy Xiaomi devices to US because Carrier Aggregation and 5G support so limited, here listed Poco F3 supported combinations: https://cacombos.com/device/M2012K11AG

It's the stupid MIUI sim activation process. It just won't work no matter what I try. In going to try anduwa new ROM.

Can't list ant 5G mobile carrier

I'm start thinking my on board 5G modem is not propelly working as I have never connected to any 5G spot .
Of corse I have installed a 5G SIM and the carrier give me a 5G connection but no way to make It connected to a 5G network . The strange thing is that I didnt have any 5G network listed (if I try manually to force the device to find any networks available). I did this test in the center of many big italian cities but I got the same result: only 4G+ or 4G networks were listed.
I have tapped the 5G prefferred network
I did a recovery
I have the last original Rom installed.
Is there any sw to detect if the onboard modem is working propelly ?

Check what band use your 5g network, n77 or.. I can't remember...
Then check if your phone support that band... There is a difference between Chinese network or Europe..

Poco F2 Pro only support N77 and N78 5G

I have had 5g on the three network in the UK only big city's on bad signal get about 200mb and on full 320mb

Question OnePlus 9 Pro 5G - Malaysia

Hi everyone,
I have a OnePlus 9 Pro that I bought in India. Build is Oxygen OS 11.2.10.10.LE15DA
In Malaysia, I have subscribed to a 5G plan and the SIM is activated. However, the phone is not latching on to the 5G network and instead is using only the 4G network of the operator. I have gone into the testing mode and enabled the 5G radio in the preferred network type settings (NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/GSM/WCDMA) but when I check on the 'SIM and Network' settings page, only occasionally does the Preferred Network Type show 2G/3G/4G/5G (Automatic). Mostly it doesn't but even when it does, the phone does not connect to the 5G network.
For information, the phone supports N41 and N78 5G bands and my operator (Yes Mobile) uses the N78 band for 5G.
I also know that this model does not appear in the 5G supported devices list. My question is: what is missing and what can I do (if anything) to get my phone to work on this network? Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance.

Is it possible that the locations in those cases were not covered by 5G signal of your operator?
Move to somewhere else closer to a 5G base station and then try again.

Hi,
No that's not possible - I'm trying this bang splat in the middle of the coverage area and I put my SIM into a colleague's phone (he was standing next to me) and it worked on his phone.

The Indian variant has less bands and 5g support so that might be it.

I already mentioned above that it's not in the supported devices list. My question is different.

Mi 10T/Mi 10T PRO Jio True 5G(SA) Not support/Accessible in India

Hi members! Hope you guys are doing well!!
I have MI 10T PRO, it's a 5G phone. But when I try to access 5G internet of Jio(Stand Alone network) it's not supported in this phone.
As jio described in it's My Jio app that this is not supported Jio True 5G.
Is there any possible way how can I can access Jio True 5G in Mi 10T/ Mi 10T Pro phone.
Please suggest a good way to handle this.

Same here till today and it's showing 10T Pro as 10T.
