It's not a big deal, because it's a backup device at the moment, but I accidentally flashed my AT&T Dell Venue Pro with the T-Mobile FFU when I was screwing around with some stuff, and therefore it's got the default T-Mobile install on there. Does anyone know if the AT&T FFU ever leaked out, so that I can flash it back to how it's supposed to be?
No, you can try flashing the at&t firmware bundle if you're very brave though.
Noone's ever tried it, it could lead to a brick that not even an ffu can fix (hypothetically).
I have Upgraded my Note 2 N7100 from Android 4.1.2 to 4.3 (N7100XXUEMK4_N7100ODDEMK1_N7100DDEMJ9_HOME) after upgraded i have No
network at all , but i got solution for that i just installed the Modem called ME4 and then i got my Network back i know this happaned because of
jumping from old modem to newer modem any way Now i have decided to backup My EFS\IMEI partition because now days it is must to have a
backup of your EFS partition because of Rooting and flashing may cause damage to EFS Partition , so now i choose OP Tools to Backup EFS i
have my drivers installed in my PC i have rooted my phone and also check the Debugging Mode , now when i connect my phone to PC and Start
the Backup.bin file the progman cant move forward from "Abd Server Initializing" and it cannot be able to make backup my EFS and that time a
massege pops up on Phone that some Securty Promgram Blocking the action which the OP tools applying on phone , I think the 4.3 Official ROM
has Knox Security and Knox is Blocking the process of backing up the EFS... Now i dint know what should i do and i really want to backup my
EFS Partitions......Please someone Help give me solution or any other way to Backup EFS successfully Thanx

Hi all.
I'd like to backup my G4 rom so I can flash back to it incase I don't like MM
The G4 I have is on EE UK (still on 5.1) and I can't seem to find the kdz on the Internet to download this specific one.
Is there anyway I can backup the rom so I can flash back to it at a later date?
I'm not talking about backing up data using lg bridge, just the rom
Thanks.
Try here
thanks, but the firmware is not on that site and ive also looked on http://devtester.ro and the 2 listed for UK EE are not the same as the one on my G4 has my G4 has WIFI/HD Calling option and these roms do not.
I want to make the NEW G4 EXACTLY as my defective G4. How do I make a KDZ or TOT of the image on my existing defective (microphone only) G4? That way I could just use the LGUP tool and make the new phone identical to what I have now. It's a brand new replacement so I think it won't have the latest software.
I just want it to be a clone of my existing (defective microphone) G4 VS986. How can I extract the KDZ from my existing phone? It would save me HOURS of work.
Thanks much,
-Joe
Your best luck is to use an app that backs up everything or an app that will transfer over wifi. You cannot just make a tot or kdz file. That's not going to do what you think it will.
I ended up using FlashFire to create a System and Data image of the old phone and then I restored them via FlashFire on the new phone. It did a great job of cloning everything.

Hi I've always tinkered with my phones but with the One Plus 7t Pro nothing ever gave me a reason to root until now (quick step) but so far there has always been a reliable method to go back to full stock whether it's fastboot on nexus device with the official google images or Odin on Samsung devices. So I've been documenting myself and trying to understand the different partitions. My understanding is that one plus on it's website only offers system images so if I ever came to loose my other partitions what would I be able to do ? I've seen a tutorial with EDL mode but where does the firmware come from ? MSM tools only restore boot.img and system.img right ?
Also how could I go about backing up my persist partition.
So basically before I root I wanna be sure that I can go back to partitioning my phone exactly to how it was before with official firmware or if there is no official one, backing up mine before rooting.
Any clarification would be appreciated !
Thanks,
