OnePlus 7T stock boot image

Hi there.
I bricked my 7T and I'm now looking for a stock boot image to flash to my phone in order to make it work again. I've looked for it in OnePlus' software update file from their website, but I didn't find it there.
I have the European verison, 10.0.11 HD65BA was my last version. Does anyone have the stock boot image for that version please?

You will need to extract the payload.bin file first.
Than take the payload dumper and get the boot.img.

I don't know what the paylod.bin thing is nor how to extract it.

I got the payload.bin file but I don't know how to open it and get the boot.img. Do I need a specific program to open it?

I WHANT RECOVERY Boot.img FOR ROOT MY ONEPLUS NORD N100

I unlock bootloader and i whant to root with magisk my phone, i need boot.img for rocovery..I try anather boot.img from One plus nord, etc, i sucessfull flash this recovery's with command in windows but is no go in recovery, stay in bootloop..Can you guys halp me with the right recovery boot.img???Phone work's but i whant to root this think!! Thanks!!!

Sam here, I ended up in Qualcomm EDL mode, now need MSMDownload tool and image for it.

I extracted the boot.img of the latest version I downloaded from OnePlus website, it's from OnePlus NORD N100 BE2013
96 MB file on MEGA

This is absolutely stock image with no changes.

Here is the same boot.img but patched with magisk and tested, the device was rooted properly.

When booting the magisk patched version wifi stops working. Doesn't matter if which version of the stock boor I use or if I use the patched from @motovnet. Any ideas?

I had that happening when installing a 10.5.6 boot.img on a OnePlus n100 with 10.5.2, download the full rom from OnePlus site, install that version on the phone and then extract the boot.img and install, if you want magisk works fine

Ok do you have a 10.5.2 file? OnePlus only shows the latest on their site (unless they hide the old versions somewhere)

Go to system settings and update locally, then select the rom you downloaded from the OnePlus site, if wifi still doesn't work, search "payload dumper" and dump boot.img from that very rom you just downloaded and installed. That's how I fixed it for me

That was my problem. I can't find a 10.5.2 rom file. The one thats on the oneplus site is 10.5.6. So any idea where I can find older roms

Can't see why you would want an older one, I'm no going to repeat myself, if you do those steps you'll have a working wifi

Hey when using the boot image you provided do I still need the full stock firmware cause I can not find it anywhere

How To Guide [Solution] Installation Failed - Cannot Update / Try Again on OOS 11.2 Global

If you are having the cannot update issue and have the global variant of the OP9 Pro, you probably had flashed the EU (or other / wrong software version) boot.img.
If your software version is anything other than 11.2, (including 11.2.1.1) you will need to get a boot.img from someone else or pull it from OnePlus website for your software version (once OnePlus gets to adding the OnePlus 9 Pro to their website) for that OOS Software version and can still use the following, but replace steps 3 and 6 with your .img file name.
If your software version is 11.2 and you have a global model, the stock boot.img for global 11.2 is attached.
Simply plug your phone into the computer with USB debugging enabled and trust the computer for the adb connection. Open up command prompt window and make sure you cd [platform tools \ adb directory], a.k.a. change the command prompt directory to your platform tools / adb folder.
Type in the command prompt window: adb reboot bootloader
Once in bootloader, type: fastboot boot 11.2_global_OP9Pro_boot.img
Verify the phone boots
If it boots fine, follow step 2 again then...
Once in bootloader, type: fastboot flash boot 11.2_global_OP9Pro_boot.img
You will now be unrooted and able to update your OP9 Pro to the latest software version, which is currently (as of 4/2/21) 11.2.2.2.

Prior to this it would download the OTA update but I would have error installing. I'm not unable to download it.
Do you know where the OTA is download is stored so I can manually remove it and try to download it again

do I use this if I want to get back on the global firmware? I flashed the EU to get the latest update as I couldn't get the updates due to my EU boot.img.
Also, do we patch it to get root again?

Its a hidden folder in storage. It's under ".ota".

What OOS software version are you on? If you are not on 11.2.2.2 now, I can assist...

It's not there. When I start up the OTA update, it immediately states it "Couldn't update".

Currently that is not possible until OnePlus posts the full system images or a fellow member can get a fresh one and backed up and packed for install.

Makes sense. I'm not sure why it's no longer even able to download the update.
I get an installation error and when I hit resume, it states "couldn't update, installation problem"

I'm on 11.2.1.1.LE15AA, not rooted anymore after I flashed boot.img in the OP.

That boot image is for 11.2., which is not for your 11.2.1.1, that's why.

This is either 11.2.1.1 or 11.2.2.2 global boot.img. Sent to me by someone else for testing. Go ahead and try it with above instructions.

Thanks, so that was definitely part of the problem. The OTA now downloads but fails on installation. When I press resume to try again, it restarts the download.

Don't see an .ota folder (I do see other hidden folders)
Edit: it's seems like it's installing now, "installing system update." Still fails and no .ota folder

That's unfortunate. Make a post and see if anyone has the global boot image for 11.2.1.1.

Question Fastboot Stock Roms

Hey guys, more and more Roms are coming out for our beloved OnePlus 9 pro. I had a 6 and 7tp before and there were stock oos Roms, which you could easily flash via Fastboot and have OOS back.
It's just more convenient to simply have one file instead of flashing all images and so on
It'll be so great if any developer could try to create one, since it shouldn't be so difficult (at least that's what I guess haha)

I created one (11.2.7.7.BA), it should work, but need testers. Ofc, Use it on your own Risk, but we have MSM Tool

I owe you a beer Sconny, you brought me back from the brink! I didn't exactly use all of your files, so I'm not sure if I count as a tester, but I was able to use your fastboot commands from Flasher.bat and turn that into a shell script. I ran it not really knowing it was going to work, so I ended up not wiping beforehand but it looks like it turned out fine. Oh and I didn't use your zip, used my own and dumped the payload myself. Tested and it worked for me as well other than shows the same userdata wipe error as mentioned. Curious to ask if you could make a flashable zip to include just the latest firmware?

Yes but for flashing custom Roms you only need need some of the images flashed to the other slot prior to flashing the custom ROM zip. The system IMG and vendor IMG and some others are not needed. Comes in handy when moving from one custom ROM to another.

Never mind though as this was inaccurate on my part, vendor img is needed...my bad. This method just lets you flash to latest fw after you're already on a custom rom. So to say if a newer fw came out after you could update to it.

I will take a look on it when I've got more time, sorry guys. I need to test it on myself in order to provide this variant of restoring our devices, but I'm working much as hell atm and family stuff etc. Is more important. But I promise I will try to provide a fully functional package for all versions. System, ODM and Vendor is still buggy, but I have some ideas how to fix it

There should be the same bug with wiping. But I have an idea, I gonna download AA and will upload here. 1 hour needed

Here is the AA Version. Wipe Manually, i have to figure out why its not working, for me it does (Maybe cable, usb port?)
I am not a Developer, i'm just doing this for fun and testing when i have time. As always, use at your own risk.
I disabled Verity for the 3 Partitions, maybe that will help. If you guys have some Ideas, please let me know.
Once it is working flawlessly, i will create a thread and update the "tool" for BA/AA/DA Devices.

I'm rooted on T-Mobile stock 11.2.5.5 would I be able to flash 11.2.8.8 via fastboot? Or would I need to convert to EU first?

**** sry, the update in the thread seems to be broken :S. try booting to bootloader and switching slot "fastboot --set-active=a" or "fastboot --set-active=b" one of the slots should still contain your old system which booted. Then do the update with KLEN2009280cn00mq3 (which i am uploading right now, can take some time...) like in the thread. This update works, i am using it right now on my phone.

link that you provide is not MR0..that rom is KLEN2105310CN00DRX, beta version..

my bs 3 got bootloop after revert to MQ3 from rom that link above..since I know that rom actually only beta dev rom, I revert back.
I did flashed qfil global rom and CN rom, change slot a, slot b, but nothing. now my bs 3 only bootloop.
