S20 Series Flickering/Green screen
Got my S20 Ultra from Smart Communications last April 2020. This is my 1st Samsung phone. Got my 3M stickers at the back, screen protector, armoured casing. Absolute protection from physical damages was applied. Until I noticed slight flickering 2 weeks ago. I just ignored it. Until last July...
r1.community.samsung.com
and couple videos .
i change the screen resolution to FHD+ was on hd+ .
disabled hardware overlays
what do you think the problem is , hardware or software or both and what can i do ?

my S20 was like this in mid-November of last year, this problem started mysteriously, it kept oscillating between white and green screen, it lasted a few minutes and then it went back to normal, the same way it started it ended, it's been a long time since my screen does not show this problem anymore.

Not sure if this in the right place (if not, mods please move), but I recently bought a T-Mobile variant Samsung Galaxy S III (T999L). Target was having a sale on their Brightspot Mobile devices, and $150 for a Galaxy S III was too good to pass up. I've had the phone for a week and a half, and it's a really nice device. The screen at any brightness is amazing. I've used a few AMOLED and SLCD screens over time, but my main device for the past year has been a Nexus 5. Nothing that I've owned compared to this AMOLED screen.
One thing that I've noticed, however, with the screen is that it has some inconsistent splotches on it. What are these splotches you may ask? They only are noticeable on very dark backgrounds with the very dimmest brightness setting. When viewing something dark in a dark room with auto-brightness turned on is how I first noticed it. There are some dark lines and spots on the screen.
Here is the screen with a black background in a dark room, on auto-brightness:

Look at all of those marks. They're hardly noticeable, but they're there. In fact, the only way I could pick them up on camera was to set my DSLR up on a tripod and shoot a 60-second exposure.
Anybody seen anything like this before? Should I be worried about the longevity of the screen? It's almost a non-issue for me, but I thought I'd bring it up. Thanks!
I have bought an SM-T800 last November 2015 and today i discovered something unusual.
When i turned on the screen i've noticed some odd lines in my display. First i thought it was a burned in amoled display but this could not be the issue since i hadn't got it on for no more than 20 days and not with full brightness (about an hour a day).
When i googled SM-T800 disassembly there where those perfect illustrated hardware parts that matched the lines in the display.
Since it is not a burned in amoled display, is this a warranty issue?
I am seriously interested what to do next, because i am not accepting this problem with visible hardware parts in my display.
Can you get a pic, no idea how you can see the internals under 3 layers of screen.
From a photo its hard to see but i'll do my best to explain.
In the example photo u see the circuit just above the home button. Notice behind the circuit there is a salmon sort of colour substrate.

My tablet has that same form visible in the screen. Especially the 45 degree salmon colour steep edge at the right of the example photo. I looked just now again and it seems less visible but it's still there.
On the photo its hard too see but at the right side u see a line appear just 1/2 inch from the bezel all across the display.
I didn't had it charged so no heat could cause this issue, but what else?
Btw it's best visible on a dark grey background.
I could be the touchscreen matrix, I have seen it on other tablets but not on my T800.
John.
What is happening to my phone!? I dont even know how to search for this. The LCD still works fine. Touch works fine. Its almost like something is separating internally causing a contrast difference in this odd, blotchy pattern among the pixels. A white screen shows the issue the best. Less back light makes it harder to detect. It was just slightly noticeable in the upper corner 24 hours ago.... now its 20 times worse! I got this phone from Verizon the day it came out. It is unlocked using Sunshine and running Viper10 and has been since I got it unlocked. Cant imagine that has anything to do with this though...
Has anyone else ever seen this or know what it is or what causes it??? I am at a loss here.

Wow, not one response in almost 2 weeks... Has no one ever seen this before on any device!?
As strange as this was, whats even stranger is that the phone has healed itself! The screen is now 100% back to normal. I have no ideas what happened, but ill take it!
That's awkward
Hi S9 screen has random discoloration at times. It is not damaged like in the example pic I have shared and the entire screen is the similar green color. If I press the power button and wait for 5 10 second and turn on the phone it's back to normal. This behavior is completely random.

i dont see anything wrong with that at all
its the ribbon cable from the gpu to the display panel. its going to intermittently do this until it eventually fails. The failure could come in 2 weeks, 2 years, 2 decades or 2 millennia. These dang samsung panels are so all over the place when it comes to their longevity after physical damage, its hard to tell you how long you have before its a goner
Hi guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 40mm Stainless Steel

I purchased it 3 years ago from samsung shop (Italy) for 200€.
In the last few months I am having an issue that doesn't allow me to charge it at all.
When I try to charge the smartwatch says that it is too hot (sometimes it says that it is too cold) and to cool it down (or warm it up).
I tried also to use another charger and to put it in the freezer (LMAO) but didn't work.
The smartwatch is in perfect conditions (I barely used it once a week in the gym) and from nowhere this error appears.
I went to the official samsung repair center and they asked 170€ for the repair cost (motherboard + back cover). That's no sense....
Do you know If I, somehow, can disable this temperature sensor allowing it to charge? I didn't find anything in the developers options but maybe with a custom rom or something like that?
I don't want to spend all those money on a 3 years old smartwatch.
Thanks for your time.
