Hi guys. I can view my rog screen on a tv with an HDMI - type c. It's OK. But here I have few questions.
It will not show any image if I plug this with fan. (Could I make it work ?
And will it work on a touchscreen displays ?

It seems like only one port can use data, and the side port takes priority. Since the fan has buttons, it uses the data connection, so when it's plugged into the side port, data on the bottom port is disabled. Don't think there's any way to solve that.

I got my HD 2 days ago, and I have a few questions... I'm confident you fellas have the answers, or can point me in the right direction. I've checked out the search option.. but haven't had solid results.
1. Is there a way to create a larger Caller Id photo?
2. How do I change my clock font or appearance, as I've seen on others screen shots?
3. The weather tab doesn't have my city and state... is there a way to input a zipcode?
4. I have movies on my laptop, and I have copied them to the HD, but they wont play. What do I need to do, to get movies to play?

if you use s2u2 it has larger caller id photo
try getting a different video player core, tcmp, divx mobile
1 - don't think so (it's about 350x350px, isn't enough?)

I have an Asus Pc slate with a MAXIMUM resolution of 1280 by 800 and as you all aware that, in order to get the App on window 8 dev build to swype or dock, you're required to have a system with a screen resolution minimum requirement of 1360 by 768, and anything lower the apps would work BUT NOT the swype docking system.
Be doing some serious searching on the web and stumble across this website with straight forward SOLUTION .
It's NOT my work nor am I a messenger, just wana help out, i tryed it and its working on my Asus Pc Slate that has only 1280 by 800 Screen Resolution, there are two ways of going about it so just visit the site http://www.addictivetips.com/window...ap-feature-and-how-to-snap-metro-application/ and choose which option is easier for you.
Am just excited that its that simple and it work and i have tried it using the tweeter and reed app and works, try it out and leave feedback both here and the website if you can, am sure everyone on here would appreciate it.

New to this forum and this is my first post. Just bought a Samung GIO and so far I am very happy with it. Lots to learn as there is lots of features and customizing compared to my old iPhone. I have been playing with the short cut feature but I was wondering if there is a way to create a short cut so I can turn off and on my USB tethering but touching an icon or widget. Is this possible or do I have to do this by making an app?

I've noticed that I cannot see the time stamps of messages. I'm curious to know if we can enable the time stamps in messages. Or slide the message to the left or right to get the time stamp as it works in iMessage...
Just give the message bubble a tap and you'll see the time stamp.

I don't know for exactly I have look under Google , u tube, setting G+ settings and I'm a white female 36 that lives in the US in Texas, I think whatever it is has me Korean/Japanese and link under family link or partners so I can't watch anything over rated on t.v , computer, phone, tablet etc. I believe my Tablet was UNRoot/root and changed all my info... Need HELP... thanks, tina

Doesn't look like anything with root. Can you try factory reset and start again?

At least for the "Korean/Japanese"...
If I'm understanding correctly, try changing the language to English -- drag down notification bar, click the cog, go to System (second option from the bottom), then Languages & Input (selection the topmost option), Language Preferences (topmost option), and move English to the top (hold down 3 lines next to it) and/or click green plus on the bottom of the list and add English (US)....
If I'm understanding correctly, you trying to work your phone when everything is in Asian lettering would make things exponentially more difficult to figure out and troubleshoot...

Is there ANY way to remove the pointless & annoying guide menu picture of the remote control when trying to use HDMI-CEC? See attached photo or one on Google Drive:

Guide menu is needed to use full HDMI-CEC to allow control of an external device (Raspberry Pi 4 with Kodi in my case) via HDMI cable using TCL remote.
Guide menu is accessed via being on an HDMI input > Menu (3 horiz lines) > T-Link > Guide menu
Unfortunately as you can see in the photo, there is a constant and as far as I can tell, non-removable picture of a stupid remote blocking an eight of the screen... The issue has been bugging people since 2014 it seems.
I tried contacting TCL EU but their support form leads to error 404... TCL US still haven't replied.
I have this exact same problem, it's mind boggling that I can't find a way to hie this. If anyone has any idea I would greatly appreciate it.

Can you please email TCL support?
If enough people bug them they might release an update with hide "On screen Guide Menu Remote" toggle. Or at least an opacity slider to allow you to drop from current ~80% down to 0%.

I used the TCL USA webform.
The EU support for TCL is broken, gives me 404 as well.

I have RC802V which is very similar. You can't hide the guide menu with it.
You have an option to display a different remote (with keyboard button) on-screen, but then, the arrows on the remote are used to select different buttons on the on-screen remote...And this on-screen remote doesn't have arrow keys...
