I've noticed that this specific device has some issues with Project Treble, including Bluetooth Audio and AUX cables not properly handling audio. Have those issues been fixed in certain GSI's or are they prevalent in all GSI's from Phusson still?
Does anyone know if there is a fix patch or workaround for Bluetooth audio of Android 10 GSI?
I've been using pe GSI, it is stable. However, Bluetooth audio is not working, devices can be paired, but music plays from phone's speakers. I've tried on several GSIs. None of them having a working Bluetooth audio.
Please let me know if you know how to fix, thanks in advance.
Same problem... My device is Realme Q2 and GSI is phh's AOSP 10.
AGM X3, Oreo 8.1 Vendor, Qualcomm 845. Only pie roms will work, and every one I've tried (Phh, Bliss, RR) have the issue of the speaker not working. Q roms boot loop.
Wondering if anyone can point me in a direction of things to try.
AOSP 9 (PhhTreble V123) on my device and it's amazingly stable and just a great experience. However, I cannot seem to be able to get the main speaker to work. Interestingly, if I use I use a manual headphone mode switcher it routes audio to the smaller in-call voice speaker.
Logcat for boot:
[piv123boot.txt](https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/files/6217644/piv123boot.txt)
Logcat attempting to play media:
[logcatspeaker.txt](https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/files/6217648/logcatspeaker.txt)
Logcat switching in-call to speaker and back:
[speakerphone.txt](https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/files/6217653/speakerphone.txt)
It's possible this has been resolved in new releases, but nothing past AOSP 9 boots on my device. I tried to build the most recent Treble Settings apk to see if some toggles in there could help, but it would not complete installation.
[10.txt](https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/files/6217660/10.txt)
I built an overlay following the official guide, and another following an XDA guide, the .apk's built but didn't resolve the issue.
Aside from that, everything pretty much works. The fingerprint reader is detected as volume down, but trivial issue for my use. No MTP but ADB serves the purpose.
Anything I can try for the audio? Thanks for these release!
I am getting horrible popping, metallic noise, and it sounds like they are under water when I am on a bluetooth call. I have tried 2 different earbuds and my car, and it's all the same. I have tried most of the mainstream roms like crDroid, Nameless, Bliss, PEX, and Lineage.
Any advice is welcome.
i read somewhere here in the 9p forums, that is mostly the case with older bluetooth versions devices. 4 or 5 bluetooth version should work flawless?
but i didnt have the 9p until today, so i cant check.

My car and Sennheiser earbuds are both bluetooth version 4, but they both sound very metallic, tinny, and like they are underwater. I have tried several roms, from android 11, 12, and 13, and they are all the same. It does it on stock OOS too.
on oos too?
did you ask/searched on oneplus forums/community?
Sony WF-1000XM4 worked perfectly on OOS 11, and continues to work perfectly on OOS 13 (I skipped 12).
Have you tried changing the Bluetooth options in developer settings? Changing MAP and AVRCP to different versions solved both of my headphones (one of which was a crackle feedback issue) problems, a car sync problem and another guy's headunit delay issues. It's free to change and try
I agree, it could be a codec issue. go ahead and try to change the codec as mentioned in previous post.
I started having the same issue after upgrading to lineageos 20. Music ok in the car, but phone calls are mettallic and noisy. Tried to change all possible developer settings without success (codecs, avrpc, you name it). Did anybody find a way to solve this?
Maybe it is something to raise with the lineageos team.

I did, but they unshipped lineageos for the oneplus 9 pro for the time being
Hello, I recently installed GSI crDroid in my A325F and change its kernel (from XDA forum). and rooted it with Magisk. My problem is I am when I am connected to a bluetooth speaker and the audio is coming out of the phone instead on the speaker. I tried to change the audio output from phone to my speaker and still it plays under my phones' speaker. Can someone help me with this?

hm? what version ru using. If your using crdroid 8.x and below. go to phh settings > misc > Force AD2P offload and reboot
if your using crdroid 9.x and above then this shouldnt be a problem and shld work right out of the box. If it is not. try disabling ad2p offload and reboot. if it still causes an issue try using bluetooth workarounds in phh > misc > bluetooth workarounds and select mediatek and reboot.
you might be using my kernel that i built. It should not matter. i use the same kernel on my A325F on crdroid 9.3 it works amazingly.
If audio still doesnt work see if the output device is set to your bluetooth headset or speaker
Yes I am using your sent gsi and your built custom kernel. Thank you for that. I now get my bluetooth to work by enabling the ad2p offload. Such a great help ty
Just any case, you know how to port the dual audio of Samsung to the crdroid. I want to work/play audio in a two bluetooth speaker
