Question rom battery/perfomance - Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE

What is the best battery/performance rom?
And what are the installation instructions and what recovery to use to flash this rom?
I had bootloops several times since I was back on MIUI12.5, and the battery is really bad

Yes but miui is not stable.. I already had problems under miui13 so I can't imagine miui14

Miui 14.0.4.0 its a Stable release from Xiaomi. I dont notice a problem. The best battery and perforamnce i got on 13.0.2.0 Xiaomi Eu but on 14.0.4.0 its good too.
PixelOS on Cpu1-4 dont get to low power 691MHz always on 1800MHz+
I like Xiaomi.eu becouse games doesnt have lags like on PixelOs etc rom on AOSP. and NFC works better. I have small problem on other customrom.
Miui 14 for Mi 11Lite 5g Ne its only Stable Version. They stop Beta weekly release

MIUI 10 Stable vs Beta

Hello! What is your experience using MIUI 10 Beta ? How stable is it and are there any critical bugs in it? How do things go with energy consumption? How quickly do bugs fix there?
I want to know that did Xiaomi stopped beta program for miui 10? Or it's just they didn't provide weekly build today?
Because i'm on miui 10 beta and didn't recieve any uodate today. So i thought maybe since they have launched public stable buil so they have stopped beta program. Is it true?

It is because their devs are on holidays. They do this annually, they made a post about this and the next beta build comes at 11/10.
MIUI Beta and Stable are largely the same for now. Both are good in battery life and performance but I found MIUI 10 a bit stuttering with animations and scrolling compared to MIUI 9.6.4. Also weirdly the graphics options in PUBG has been reduced with MIUI 10. Don't know why.. Switched to MSM-X Pie Rom for now.

How? What about Anti Roll back? I was in Resurrection remix before Miui 10 but after miui 10 i have to stick with it because of ARB policy. Also miui 10 public build has no finger print lock option. But i'm on beta build so everything seems to be working fine here for now.

Arb doesn't apply to custom ROMs. You can switch between custom ROMS as usual. Just don't go back to a older version of MIUI. Fingerprint works in stable build for me.

Oh. Thanks. Then i'll definitely try Android Pie based Custom ROMS. But Camera quality becomes worse in Custom ROMS.
What's the point of having a good camera hardware if it's in no use in custom ROMS.

Wrong.
Most of the custom roms for whyred come with mi A2 camera pre installed, the you can add gcam onto that.there is no difference between miui and custom camera.because its not the operatint system that defines quality of the picture taken with camera, its the application you are using.
If its a better application or same, there wont be any difference.

Actually in my oneplus one and oneplus 5 custom roms doesn't give same camera quality as stock roms. That's why i'm afraid to flash custom rom on redmi note 5 pro. :/

MIUI version confusion...

I'm using/testing standby time with official global stable rom 9.6.4.0, which is miui9 and that makes sense.
And then I saw miui10 with version 8.x.x.x, and then there are stable roms with 10.x.x.x!? Can someone shred some light?
Got my max3 awhile back and still waiting to UBL, which one is the best rom at the moment? And works with latest magisk?
Thanks : )

Follow my thread regarding buggy vendor rom. You'll be good to go from there.

Question Xiaomi.eu for poco f3

Has anyone tried xiaomi.eu for poco f3? If yes, please share the installation steps and your experience with the rom.
Is you bootloader unlocked?
Only Fastboot method for now, check out the Xiaomi.EU forums: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...all-xiaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-redmi-k40.60379/
As the original thread on the xiaomi.eu is for the K40, even if I understand it is the same as POCO F3 which is K40's international version, did people succesfully test the fastboot flashing of that ROM specifically on the POCO F3?

Yep. it's basically the same device with difference in firmware and rom installed. Flashed the latest weekly on my F3 with no issues so far.

If anyone is using xiaomi.eu on poco f3 right now, please tell me if the option "tap to display AOD for 10 seconds" is available in AOD settings or not. Im asking because it is available on the default global rom and I really like it this way.
What are the differences between roms so far? Can anybody list them?
Why everybody complain about gestures? I can use gestures on my poco f3 with nova luncher with no problems. Global stock firmware
Gestures - swiping on the home screen to open some app or other things right?
My uderstaning is Xiaomi.EU is based on the latest China rom. It's essentially the Redmi K40's rom 12.0.8.0 date 2021-04-09 with performance/battery tweaks, Chinese apps/bloat removed, ads removed, languages added and don't quote me on this (EU/Global vendor).
Then there's the official European (EEA) rom which just received update 12.0.4.0 date 2021-04-19 that fixes screen dimming, standby battery drain and haptic feedback motor noise.
And lastly there is the official Global rom which is still on 12.0.2.0 date 20201-03-30 which is meant for the rest the world including North America.
The China rom is developed by Xiaomi developers in China. It's has the most features, the latest features and is the most stable.
The Global and European (EEA) roms are developed by Poco and have the Poco lanucher and Google apps as default.
Eventually bug fixes one region receives will be transferred over and implements to other regional roms.
Downloading 12.0.4.0 fails for me. Was anybody able to do the update?
Can someone check if the xiaomi.eu has the sensors off feature in the developer settings?
I posted on the Xiaomi.EU forum asking about the current issues and bugs Poco F3 users are facing.
Hopefully someone, who has a Redmi K40/Poco F3 running the Xiaomi.EU stable firmware replies to my post.

Weekly has more bugs than stable, right? Have you encountered any bugs yet? My bootloader unlocks tomorrow and I cant decide between weekly and stable.

I flashed weekly 2 days ago and haven't encountered any bugs, imo it feels better than global stable
I'm also thinking about to flash xiaomi.eu rom. Battery life is very poor for me on global stable... Also it is not running as smooth as i thought. Sometimes a bit laggy.
@ zeb_vv
Seems like no one wants to flash Xiaomi.EU stable for Poco F3 even on the Xiaomi.EU forum.
Weekly has more features and is on MIUI 12.5, but it's less stable and has more bugs.
Good to hear you've not encountered any problems.

Question [CLOSED] Best custom ROM?

Hello guys. I'm looking for best official custom ROM for my POCO F3. I'm planning to use it daily, so I want stable ROM without any BIG bugs. Can you tell me which ROM is best at this moment? (Your opinion). Thank you and sorry for bad English
I'd recommend the recommended. The mother rom (Xiaomi EU). [EU has nothing to do with europe]. It has the latest official Xiaomi rom features. Basically what Xiaomi updates comes directly to you through this rom (with pack of other features)

Well, I am a OneUI fanboy. I don't like any of them all. but I'd have to get used to MiUI
The thing is you need to know what suits you the most and feel comfortable with. You can check the ones available here labeled as [Development].
I hope the guys here give you more intels of which could be the beat custom rom besides custom MIUI
Right now, hands down the best rom would be Arrow OS. Been using it for a couple of days now and the smoothness and experience is on next level.
I was previously using stable and then weekly EU rom.

Havoc was the first Custom ROM for the F3, which didn't include GAPPS by default - so I gave it a try...
After many years of pure LOS/CyanogenMod, I am now running Havoc 4.5 on both the Poco F1 and F3. And it works great on both devices!
HentaiOS works fine to me :v I'm staying on it till any custom with working OTA comes up

That's banned on XDA. It's also not open source . As a havoc contributor I'm biased to havoc however most of the ROMs use the same device source and so are all stable. I think ArrowOS may be the most stable at the moment but I don't have a problem daily driving Havoc

I just received my F3 and I am on the mandatory 7-day waiting period to unlock.
F1 is my current phone, running Havoc 4.5, and I want to install Havoc on the F3 too.
Did you notice any major bugs on the F3 version?
I know it's still too early for all features to be added, but -for example-, is 120hz refresh rate available as an option?
Thank you.

The only bug I faced so far is the adaptive charging: it does not work on official build (it did on unofficial ). But I'm not a 24/7 smartphone user and I don't run games on it.

ArrowOS is supporting OTA. I feel it's the most stable and snappiest of the current AOSPs. Light and fast, without a bunch of features I don't really need

Question [Poco F3][MIU13] Why no custom ROMs are using the latest firmware from MIUI ?

Hi, I've seen most ROMs recommend firmware from MIUI 12.5.x and not the latest is there any reason for that ? Does the latest firmware could break something ? Or lead to weird bugs/new bugs ?
A11 miui based roms have hit their end of life for the most part (12.5.19) almost all the bugs have been worked out and is very stable. Imo, as well as many others, the A12 based miui roms are sometimes if not always missing import features such as face unlock (at the time of writing this). The A12 based roms, imo, are not the most stable roms for the poco f3 atm (I've tried both, and ended up sticking to 12.5.19 xiaomi EU stable)

Oh interesting so we're kind of a lab test for the new firmware in EEA, I thought China would have been the test case first and then they would deploy it to others ROMs (Indian, EEA, Global, etc.) once it is stable enough
