Hi, I am unable to download album art. I just downloaded the app 4 days ago and I am pretty new. I have paid for the full version so I don't know if there is something I am missing. Please advise.

I installed a newer cab and no longer was able to get Pandora album art to appear. Then I uninstalled the new cab and reinstalled the old one. Still I am getting no album art. Am I losing my mind? I am pretty sure I used to get album art.
I'm having the same problem , I've never been able to get the album art to work, I just figured that it wasn't availble for our phone, but one day last week it worked, and then never worked again , any ideas or suggestions ?
I have the paid version and it doesn't download missing album art. Does anyone know how to force it to search for missing album art?

It depends on the file that you downloaded. I used poweramp too and it only works for songs that I downloaded off of Tunee Music that show the Artist and Title of the song the way they are supposed too.
Does that make sense?
For example,
Lady Gaga-Poker Face--->It will find this one no problem
Poker Face Lady Gaga----> It wont find files that are incorrectly labeled.
Should I go into root explorer and rename the files? Would that work out is it somehow coded in the file?

So I recently flashed the new english MIUI but I'm having trouble with the music player. All my music is properly tagged with ID3 but most of my music is shown up as unknown artist or unknown album and they actually show the actual filename instead of showing the song title.
IS there any way to fix this problem? This is the only thing that's keeping me from actually staying with MIUI since the wifi/3G is stable unlike cm7

If there's an English pack, did you flash that as well? I'm still on 1.4.22, and it works fine for me. I just can't use it for album art because it kept giving me the wrong art. My lyrics were also in Chinese, but flashing the English pack helped.

I just installed the newest one and it just gives me like 2000 unknown artist's songs, but will try flashing the one you said

I don't have this problem... the problem I have is it will list the same album multiple times, with different tracks, so some albums I can't play them in entirety I have to switch and go to the duplicate of that album...
also when viewing albums the song names are arranged by alphabetical order instead of by track #

actually I think I found the solution. I re-flashed the rom but this time I used Titanium Backup to delete or freeze the stock music player, then I installed the one I use and it started reading everything normally

I've tried flashing different roms (currently I'm using the JoyOs).. but this problem exists everywhere..!!
I've attached a screenshot.. Out of the 5 albums 4 have the same album art..!

my wildfire also had this problem. I had to manually change the wrong album arts. there is an app called ITag, that's what I used.
I think when we have photo(s) in the folder that contains those songs, media library mistake them for album arts and apply that image to all or some songs In that folder.

I use to get this with most cm7 based roms, as suggested above use app that can grab album art, or try a music player winamp or poweramp (others probably have same feature) as it searches the web for the correct album art and Presto! No more barbie girl on your Avenge sevenfold albums
okay so i know this is kind of in the wrong thread but i didn't really know where to put it and you guys have deemed to be pretty helpful.
I recently decided to redo my whole music library and delete/reupload everything to play music. in doing this however i have noticed not everything is tagged properly, mainly album art. which is fine because i can always edit it BUT for some reason the play music web interface won't let me change the art for anything, it just, doesn't work. anyone else getting this?
I've been lately having this problem as well. Must be a problem on Google's end. Regardless, the issue has been here far too long and all my missing artworks are starting to drive me nuts.

Album art cover I gave up on that since the first week I got an android phone... always has been an issue for me :/

Looks like the UI has been updated and album art updating has been fixed, for anyone still watching this thread.
