Hi
I have the 10.1 GT-N8010 (Android 4.1.2). The documentation says that the maximum supported microSD card is 64GB. I inseretd a 128GB card with no problem. Does anyone know whether it accepts higher capacity cards ? Thanks.

That 64gb card you're looking at is not microSDHC. It is microSDXC. The SDHC (with the micro part included) only allows for up to 32gb in capacity by specification. If you see something larger labeled as a SDHC card, be weary about purchasing it.
This is not to say the Inc2 doesn't support larger capacities. The SD standard is pretty flexible. If HTC didn't cheap out too much it MIGHT be able to read a SDXC card at SDHC speeds (SDXC also has some speed updates in the specification). However, HTC says this thing uses microSDHC so it's probably a good bet that you should stick with SDHC cards.
Hello, So I just got the LG E370, and was wondering about the memory card limit. Now I read it states that the biggest card it accepts is a 64gb card, but then that ventures into the realm of SDXC. And SDXC has a limit of 2TB, So would I not be able to install a 2TB microsd card (assuming one was able to obtain such a card)?Would it be a software limitation or am I misunderstanding the size limitations of cards. I know SD is up to 2GB, SDHC is 4GB to 32GB, and from what i've ever dealt with, anything that can accept a 4gb can acccept both a 2gb, and a 32gb card. So why would the phone not be able to accept beyond the 64gb while it's still in same format?.
Thanks in advance.
The website says this tablet will support a maximum of 128GB external storage and then the manual says a maximum of 64GB storage card.
Manual:
You can use a microSD or microSDHC card (not
included) to add additional memory space to your
device.
Your device has been tested to support up to a
64GB memory card.
Website:http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab/SM-T800NTSAXAR
External Memory/microSD™ Capacity
Up to 128GB
SDHC/SHD SD Card
Yes
... wikipedia says the max supported size of SDHC is 32GB but anything greater falls under SDXC specifications- so there's some inaccuracy in their manuals and marketing

Fyi received an answer from Samsung customer support:
"
Thank you for contacting Samsung. I see that the Galaxy tab SM-T800NTSAXAR shows support for 128GB external SD card on Samsung website and 64GB on the manual. I have checked our internal database and see that the device supports 128GB micro SDXC card.*"
Thanks for that! I might get an SD card soon lol.
I simply want to get the performing compatible micro-sd for the zenfone 2. If any one has links to compatible micro-sd cards please post them here.
I have a SanDisk Ultra 64GB, its a class 10 or UHS-I. Here's the link:

I also tried the PNY Turbo 32GB, had better read performance, but slower writes :

So now it does support 128 GB officially. Everywhere else it is only 64GB.

As far as i know, technically the support is for SDXC (Secure Digital eXtended Capacity), which relates to card with capacities of 64GB and up to 2TB. Because there are no cards with capacity greater than 128GB (except for one card by SanDisk with a capacity of 200GB), the different manufacturers list the compatibility as "up to 64/128GB", probably because a lot of people wouldn't understand what "SDHC support" means (up to 32GB), or how it's different from "SDXC support".
I don't have a recommendation for a specific card, but there's an eBay seller that I bought a lot of cards from, and they were all original and good quality, and he was one of the cheapest that I saw, especially when comparing to shops around where I live - http://www.ebay.com/usr/sinceritytrading?_trksid=p2053788.m1543.l2754.
128GB is supported

use class 10
Avoid Sandisk SDXC. Zenfone2 users on ZenTalk (myself included) have been having an issue with this particular MicroSD experencing "Unexpected Removal of external storage" frequently and randomly. After a restart, the card works for about an hour before the fiasco repeats itself. I am a techie and have tried everything, so the usual cliché "have you tried...?" will be useless.
in the Amazon store, the specifications put the maximum capacity of the microSD card is 32 GB. Error, supports up to 128GB of storage.
32 GB is the maximum, officially supported as to what Huawei guarantees the device to support. There's never the less always a chance that larger cards are supported as well.

If it helps, I've been running a 128GB microSD in my M2-802L with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
I use Sandisk 128gb microSD in my M2-801L and no problem so far
