I have lg g3 f400l. Struck in this problem as shown in pictures. It is just showing blue and green booting light .
Is this happened after flashing new Rom or Xposed module via TWRP?
You should reflash the KDZ file of LG because this is a bootloop you won't get out.
If you have installed xposed you can flash the uninstaller to fix it otherwise you should really flash the KDZ file to fix it.
Hello. So as my adventure with the G4 continoues my problems also continue. This morning I flashed CM13 successfully but without GApps. I hopped into my Recovery and installed the GApps, so then I realized that I have no SuperSU, in my happyness I forgot the no-need for it in CM13 quickly... I installed the newest BETA and rebooted my device. Now it's stuck in this CM13 Screen.
What can I do now? I have had USB Debugging enabled but I can't do anything with ADB while in the Boot. It means "device offline"

i am on the same boat pal, and nobody seems to have a cure for it... what you have done ?
I recently had my G3's motherboard replaced. I'm using G3 D855 32GB with Android 5.0 software version V20n.
I had troubles rooting my device with these methods:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
Though after few more tries and research I came across this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197 and successfully rooted my device (checked with Root Checker app).
Now i'm having difficulties flashing TWRP. I tried flashing using the official app TWRP manager with no luck, nor through flashify. For some reason with the Autorec app, the flash recovery button is doing nothing.
While flashing with flashify and TWRP manager I get this message when phone is booting: "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify" at the left top of the screen (when LG logo appears).
I believe my software version (V20n) has something to do with it, because that's the cause for the rooting issues.
I would really appreciate any help, I'm dealing with it for few days now.
By the way, I had the same problem before and tried flashing KDZ, ending up with a fully bricked device (that's why I got my device's motherboard replaced) so please try to avoid solutions including this method.
Thanks!
I have exactly the same problem
OK I solved this issue
you have to root&flash recovery in one operation.

Enjoy!
Hopefully someone can help me its for X800 china version
I tried to open the phone after 2 years, and tried to update it with official ROM from http://123.59.123.195/cn/download/phone/30
After updating, when I tried to reboot it, it got stuck on this black screen with a small penguin, and then after few seconds, it restarts back with the same black screen and the penguin.
I can still access TWRP recovery if I press the vol up button while it is restarting. I tried installing different custom ROM, but to no avail. I would really appreciate if you can help me fix my phone
EDIT: RESOLVED
It was looping on fastboot mode (the penguin icon)
Tried installing an older version, lollipop based, from Cuoco92 (from here https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=57901) and it worked again (thanks Cuoco92!)
Upon reading online, it seems the partition may have been corrupted since I'm trying to flash a MM ROM from a lollipop ROM ,without updating the firmware
I found out that I need to update the firmware to 16S, which I downloaded from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...ollipop-marshmallow-firmware-x800-cn-t3463736
(thanks hugoprh!)
After that I am able to install any ROM, from MM and up (was able to install Lineage OS 14.1)

Hey guys
First, a little bit of history:
I own a G6 now, so I wanted to have some fun with my G3.
I rooted it (LGOneClickRoot), installed TWRP, installed LineageOS 14.1 and everything went pretty well.
The problem was that LineageOS 14.1 is terrible, huge lags, tons of bugs, so I tried installing another ROM through TWRP, I don't know what I messed up but I messed up and the flash failed. I dont remember exactly what I tried to flash after that but I failed again and then classic --> Stucked on LG boot logo, no recovery mode, no download mode, nothing.
So I used the popular fix for hardbricked G3, creating a short between test point and ground while connecting it to revive him, and it worked. I went with the whole procedure in BoardDialg and stuff. Kinda surprised by myself that I didnt go full-panic mode creating tons of threads everywhere lol, I managed to make it work even if it took me something like half a day of learning and work.
Now I'm back to stock Android 4.4.2, rooted with LGOneClickRoot again and everything is fine.
I mean... Almost everything is fine, because now I want to be able to install Magisk, and I found that Magisk is for Android 5+.
So there are some informations I need to gather before going further and risk a brick again (please no more short on the motherboard lol):
1- Can I flash a stock Lollipop ROM with LG Flash Tool in download mode using CSE Flash ? Is it a proper way to do it or do I really need to go through this boring TWRP recovery flashing again ?
2- where can I find such a ROM (stock Lollipop for d855) ? And which version to chose ? v20a, v20e, v20f, v20h, v20i, v20p, v20t, v20u, v20w or v21a ? I've been looking for hours now, hard to find reliable informations about all different versions.
Thanks for the read, I hope someone can help me
UPDATE:
I flashed a Lollipop v20f with LG Flash Tool and it's working fine.
I heard that after v20f, newer versions were "harder" to root so I sticked with v20f.
I'm gonna play around with Magisk now and see how it goes.
I'm in the same boat. I also went back to 4.4.2 via TOT. The I rooted and installed TWRP. how I want to restorel my RR 5.8.5 from a TWRP backup. My question is to I have to install the 35B bootstack before or after the restore or at all?
Hi,
Upgrade (LGFlashtool + CSE flash) to V30B
Follow this post ==>
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/root-twrp-marshmallow-d855-30b-t3286268
Then you can install custom Rom ou upgrade to stock V30N (with root : there is a post about it)
Hey how did you do the unbrick process? I stuck at flashing kdz eventhough i have correct dll and drivers installed
hi,
Try LGUP instead of LGFlashtool (download mode and type *.kdz + select kdz file in LGUP)
Depends if you're hardbricked or softbricked. I was hardbricked so I had to create a bridge between 2 points on the motherboard and reflash everything one by one. I formated recently and didnt keep all these things but I can get into it again to try to help you.
EDIT: LGFlashTool isn't enough if you're hardbricked, you'll have to use other tools and open your phone. First step is identify if you're softbricked or hardbricked, google it you'll find your answer
Mine was hardbricked. I use shorting test point method and successfully flashing partition. Then I flash kdz using LG flash tool 2014, my phone stuck on boot logo. Then I do factory reset. Still same. Last option, I use LG UP. It stuck on LAF info with number on it. Is my LAF file damaged?
Hi,
With Boarddiag try this :
1-EMMC TEST Option "erase" ;
2- then Restore theses partitions and reboot in download mode and flash Kdz.
1)Boot
2)Aboot
3)BackupGpt
4)Boot
5)dbi
6)laf
7)PrimaryGpt
8)Recovery
9)rpm
10)tz
11)sbl1
