Hello. I want to ask about entering the SkyHawk recovery, because the key combination, that You supplied only applies to injecting the Magisk to standard Android boot sequence. Pressing the "Power" + "Volume+" key yields the same results every time, leading to replaced "Stock" recovery. Can You explain this? Thank You.

1 question: there is magisk, 25.2, I updated to 26.1, but I'm unable to root with patching the boot.img
.... but Just got to know what Ramdisk: NO does mean from this article:

You can root your device using one of these two methods
1- Magisk --> Guide from here
Spoiler: Tweaks--> Spoiler: TWRP on Erecovery, Magisk on Recovery Setup
2- KernelSU ---> Guide from here

Ok guys, after about 3 days of search i finally find how to install Clockworkmod Recovery (Touch Version) on my WIND T999V so im sharing it with you!
Assuming you are already rooted right? Ok then read on!
If not then i suggest you follow mrRobinson's thread on how to root.
Note: THIS METHOD WILL TRIP YOUR COUNTER!!!
So if you worrying about that then please read how to remove that using Triangle Away here
I would like to quickly say im not responsible if you brick your device! so please take the necessary precautions etc
Ok lets move on.
Files needed:
FIRST Make Sure that the Samsung USB drivers are installed. You can find it here
Odin: Located here
CWM Recovery: Located here (Although this is for T999V other phones are listed but im not sure if the procedures are the same)
MD5 Checker: Located here (This is to check your download files to see if they are complete or correct files)
Download Odin.
Turn off your Phone and Turn it On While Pressing, Volume Down + Home + Power button until you see the download mode screen, Press Volume Up to continue.
Open Odin in Computer and connect your device to PC, while it is in the Download mode.
If your Phone is successfully connected to PC, the Odin port will turn Yellow with COM port number and in the status section you see <Added!>.
Now Click on PDA and select the File "recovery-cwmtouch-6.0.4.3-d2tmo.tar" (would be better to rename it something like recovery.tar).
In Odin, Check Auto reboot and F.Reset Options if they are not already checked.
Now Click the start button and wait for the process to complete.
After the installation is complete you device will restart and once you see the Home Screen, unplug the cable.
You should now have CWM Recovery installed!
To check turn your phone off and press Volume Down + Home + Power.
OPTION 2
Ok so after a few more brain storming, trials and error i found out that i can actually install CWM from ROM Manager without going through the above process. Anyways i am leaving it just in case some users need it.
Now its simple to get CWM for your phone!
First Download ROM Manager (if you are rooted)
Open the app
Select Recovery Setup
Select INSTALL OR UPDATE RECOVERY
Select the Option Button >>>>>

}
Select Show All Devices
Select Ok at the popup
Scroll Down untill you see Samsung Galaxy S3 (T-Mobile) (it should have d2tmo below it)
Select It
Select Flash ClockworkMod Recovery
Wait until its finish and you are good to go
Note: If you want to support the dev you can Select YES at the Flash ClockworkMod Touch before you Select Flash ClockworkMod Recovery its just $1.99!
Its easier to use anyways!
2nd method with ROM MANAGER worked well on my wind s3.
Thanks for sharing
Root is not required for the first step. Both methods will work for all T999 variants in case anyone is wondering. Good write up
Ok, so this is how it went.
I uninstalled Magisk 18.1 via TWRP using the latest uninstaller zip. Unfortunately, my phone would not boot any more. Not in to the the system, not into recovery.
So I went to fastboot and tried to boot the TWRP image (fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-daisy_zero.img). It loaded TWRP and then in the TWRP recovery, because it was set to boot at slot B, I changed it in TWRP to boot into slot A. After I restarted the phone, there is only the black screen. I can't reset the phone, I can't get in to fastboot, nothing. Basically it is bricked. It won't even show that it is charging.
Can anything be done? I have broken my system before, but always had no problems with restoring it with flashing threw fastboot. But now I can't get to fastboot.
I was using stock rom with Pie v 1.0.4.0.
Really appreciate the help.

That´s really strange... Will windows detect the phone when you connect it?
Maybe you´re in edl-mode. If yes, you could get out of it by pressing pwr for more then 10 seconds.
If that doesn´t help and you will not be alble to do anything (incl. going to fastboot) you can restore you phone by going to edl by usng the test point method. But thant will break your warranty - you have to open the phone...
If you want to do it you need to do the following.
1. Download latest fastboot rom and MiFlash
2. Install MiFlash, unpack fastboot rom and selct extracted folder in MIFlash.
3. Open your phone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmpHdqRUlDA
4. Remove the metal cover over the mainboard
5. Remove battery
6. short these both pins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhsRv42rsqI
7. connect your phone to pc (in device manager you should see "qualcomm qdloader 9008"
8. In MiFlash click on refresh (now you should see something with com-port)
9. On the lower right corner you can selct "clean all", "save user data" and "clean all and lock" - if you were on 10.0.3.0 before, you can select "save user data" if not, you have to wipe by selecting "clean all". Now click "flash"
I did this once and needed a few tries... It´s a bit tricky to connect both pins and then the phone to pc - after the 4th try I got it running.
I had the problem of locked bootloader and a not booting phone...
Hi!
Yes, Windows detects the device. I can see the phone in the device manager by the name Qualcomm HS-USB diagnostics 900E (COM10).
If I hold power on and volume up or down, I can hear via Windows sound that it gets reconnected. So there is some life still in it.
The device is also detectable by MiFlash tool. But unfortunately since I can't get into Fastboot, I can't flash it. I've been trying to flash it, but this is where I get (it just stays here no matter how long I leave the device):

I know about the method you posted. I still have a year and a half warranty on the phone. So I will sent it on repair and see what they will say. Maybe the won't notice and I will be able to keep my warranty.
i am in the same situation right now, after try to update the twrp, what tool you use to open the phone?.
I think you can also use the deepflashcable for the same effect.
Hi all.
Did a stupid thing.
I downloaded firmware file for my Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (SM-G988B) Exynos as an MD5 file and extracted the file which came out as a .img file instead of .lz4 (which I overlooked until the damage was done!).
So not noticing the file was the wrong type, I used 7-Zip to tar it, copied it to my phone's SD card, then patched it with latest Magisk manager app. After this, I copied it back to my laptop and flashed this file using Odin.
Result: Phone goes to insecure boot warning screen but of course here it goes wrong:
It won't proceed to booting up
Power+volume up key combination or power alone do nothing no matter how long you hold them in
It boots to to same insecure boot warning screen if you use either power+volume down, or power+volume down+volume up key combination with cable unplugged. With cable plugged in it restarts to a charging icon, which promptly freezes, and stays on the screen even if you unplug the cable.
I have managed to get it into stock recovery by holding power+volume up+volume down randomly once in a while (usually it goes to insecure boot warning screen as usual), but if I select Reboot to bootloader, it does not manage to open download mode, and hangs on red text that says "entering fastboot mode"
QUESTION: If I can get it back into recovery, is there a way to re-flash stock firmware without download mode on this device using ADB (or any other method)?
Or is my phone a brick for good?
FIXED!
I managed to flash an Android 11 One UI 3.0 Beta via ADB sideload. While it didn't finish properly due to corrupted boot image and possibly not the prerequisite firmware, all was not lost. It ran okay right to the end, when it said "installation aborted".
Once I had got this far Download mode was working again, THANK HEAVENS!
Opened Odin, and flashed away. I'm now back on Stock firmware and didn't even lose my data thanks to the vbmeta_disabled file I flashed in USERDATA section.
Talk about getting out of Jail!

For those who want keep the erecovery as a fail-safe.
Fully functional on our device except for OTA updates (logical).
If you enter Recovery from TWRP or through the extended reboot menu, it is almost the same as on our EMUI 9.
But if you enter with the Volume Up + Power buttons, then an additional menu will appear from which you can enter other modes:
- Updating via dload method
- Updating from a computer via USB
- eRecovery mode
So you can enter eRecovery even though TWRP is installed on it , that could be very useful.
It works on stock recovery as well as on magisk-patched recovery.
( How to enter magisk-patched Recovery:
Boot into Recovery, when the yellow warning appears on the screen, press and hold Volume Up for ~ 2 sec,
release the button and immediately press and hold again for ~ 2 sec. Repeat it 6-7 times, the device will reboot into Stock Recovery ).

Great...
I TRIED TO FLASH LINEAGE OS WITH TWRP, BUT I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE WIPE STEP! I USED THESE INSTRUCTIONS: https://www.howtogeek.com/348545/how-to-install-lineageos-on-android/ And I made it to Step 4 without any problems. When I pressed the reboot button, however, it said “OS Not Installed” or something. The guide stated that it would automatically reboot to recovery, but it is currently not booting at all. The battery charging icon doesn't even turn off, and it's just stuck on. The only option I have is to use the power button+vol down+home key to enter download mode. When i try to choose the reboot button, as it takes me to the Samsung boot screen, and I'm stuck there unless i press the download mode button again, in after which I'm taken to the battery charging icon AGAIN. I attempted to boot into recovery mode, but it was unsuccessful. Please assist me!
Edit after much searching i finally booted into twrp recovery but when i was doing that i got this error "recovery is not seandroid enforcing". but i could finally get to twrp. the only problem is that when im trying to install crdroid its giving an error a pic of which im attatching. i tried 2 customs roms still dint work...
pls help its very urgent idec about custom rom anymore i just want the official rom but i cant find it online i need the uae version
