Hello, I bricked my Galaxy watch when flashing the wrong firmware, and now if I select "Download (wireless), it shows an error and redirects me to download mode without wifi. I noticed there is a hidden 5 pin connector:

I think that I should be able to flash firmware using odin when connected to the computer. But I need to figure out the pinout of the pins, since there are 5 pins, where usb has 4. Another thing is how would I connect the wires to such a small connector. Do you have any ideas?
EDIT: So I made a very janky connector, when I am in download mode on the watch, the PC recognizes an unknown USB device, someone had the same problem, and the solution is to change the vendor and product ID, but I don't really understand how to be honest, can someone help me?
I can't believe this but I actually unbricked my device! I made a really janky usb connector out of soldering metal and a piece of a cardboard:
It is really hard to keep the connection because you have to hold it steady and not move. I got a lot of "Unrecognised device" errors on Windows because I was using the wrong pinout, and after switching the RX/TX cables I saw the blue check on Odin that my device was connected, I was just so ****ing happy
Anyways, I downloaded the combination firmware, extracted it and packaged a new AP file with just the .bin files to unbrick the wireless download mode, then flashed it.
Now I am able to boot to Download (Wireless) mode and connect to the AP of the watch with my computer and flash the firmware with netOdin.
This is the pinout that worked for me:
Logged in just to say that this is impressive! I've done the same sort of thing years ago to provide 5V via pogo pins when I lost my charging puck for a LG G watch but this is even more insane!

Thanks, I kind of lost hope for this device and thought I will have to sell it for parts or throw it out, but this saved me.

Please help me to revive my lovely desire.
Problem:
It doesnt matter wich ac adapter i use it only uses usb speed.
I tried flash ChromiumOS yesterday and tried a backup from my old vijendrahs cm10.1 v6.3.
=> It's not the rom.
I used two different batterys...
(But they have only 20% capacity left...)
When did the problem occurs?
I charge my desire with an battery pack and then the battery pack gone flat and a few minutes after this the desire shut down.
Since this incident my desire didn't load in ac mode anymore...

The problem might be caused my the Plug to USB adapter. Do you have another one of these things lying around?

it's s-off, but it didn't work.
So i had lost hope in reviving my phone it was boot-looped with no recovery fast-boot or adb the drivers were all messed up too. I had pretty much given up hope on it. the last thing i was going to try was a jig a jig resets the binary counters on your phone and forces it into download mode or bootloader mode. I created my own so ill explain how to do it.
1.) First things first a jig works by having 300k ohms of resistance beetween the pins of 4 and 5 of a micro usb.
Some requirements youll need are
Micro usb jack you can cut a cord apart for one
300k ohm resistor or 3 100k resistors
2.) splice the cable apart until you get your micro usb jack clean the pastic off until the pins are exposed you should see a row of three on one side and two on the other pin five is the un used one or the one on the right of the third row when its laying with the row of three on the top and the 4th pin is the right one on the row with the second row

i googled imaged some pics sorry.
3.) after identifying pin 4 and 5 solder your 300k ohm resistor or 3 100k ohm resistors in series between the two pins.
4.) After that your ready to see if it works take out your battery for 2-5 seconds then put it back in after that plug the usb jig into your phone and after a couple of seconds your phone should automatically boot into bootloader mode easily flashable with odin then !! sometimes my jig took two or three times to work i found it works best if you leave it in take the battery out for a few seconds then put it back in. My phone is currently flashing on odin ill update later with some pics goodluck everyone hope this helped someone
Get 4 Samsung Epic 4G Touch here. 2 of them can detect by Win7, Charge, access internal memory, able to flash in Download mode. USB debug on. etc.
And another 2, they take Charge the battery. Win7 can't detect it. Can't flash in Download mode. Can't access internal memory from PC. I'm sure Driver installed correctly. If not, why anther 2 phone detected.
I have tried different USB cable. Some detect and sometime do. Is it USB connecter or USB cable inside the phone get bad?
I clear up usb connecter and maybe I'll heat gun to heat up the usb connector and usb chip and let you guy know.
This question probable won't be answered because You're in the wrong category.
I suppose I can give you my 2 cents. I have had two of these phones and on both the port on the phone has gone bad.

I'm sure it's not the driver Ryan.. It's bad USB port... most hardware related.
Anyone have advice or guide of easy way to change USB port without soldering??
Sounds like a bad charging port.
You can't really change the charging port without soldering. If you don't have the ability to change it yourself i'd suggest looking for a repair service, there are some on ebay.
Good luck!

Is there any option two replace just the cable instead of buying a whole new display assembly?
Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad english.

Thank you! I try it!
Hey,
the cable arrived today. I tried to get it build in but no change. It's too tricky. I think it's not possible to get the screen off without a brick. If someone can put the screen away without bricking it, it's very hard to connect the new cable to the screen.
The phone is dead. Maybe i found a cheap damaged phone with a working screen on ebay... We will see.
I will try it.
Hope you can fix the phone asap
Hello everyone,
I just discovered that my wife's Samsung Galaxy A50 with brand from Orange Poland is very strange phone and probably have something wrong.
Found two issues with him:
Connect in car: after connect to car charger [key car is disconnected] it's power on radio and other devices in car [for example dash cam],
Connect to PC: direct connect by good quality USB-C <--> USB-C don't work - device it's not discovered by PC, or even loading
I also have a second A50, but without brand from mobile operator, and old A8-2018 and both those phones don't do this - don't power car electricity and are visible by PC on USB-C <--> USB-C connection.
What I did so far - was:
factory reset
download last firmware from SamMobile for Orange and apply it
clean up USB-C port in device
Unfortunately non of above don't fix issues.
What is working on her phone:
Device is loading by ac adapter
Device is also discovered by PC when connect by USB --> USB-C cable
I'm downloading from SamMobile image without brand - and will check it afternoon, but maybe someone from you was have those issues like this?
I'm can't attaching picture with cleaned USB-C ports on both devices and videos what this behavior look like because - I'm to new on forum
Did you checked which device control the other? I mean, there is an option, and maybe your phone is trying to control your car's computer.
My opinion about the PC issues is, maybe try the original cable, or type c <->type a, or other computer.
Sorry for poor english, and if I am wrong.
Use Your Samsung warranty and go to Samsung center in Poland for free diagnose. You can get hour appointment by call to choosen samsung Center. I think that You usb charger module in phone can be damaged. Typical Samsung diecease.
Thanks for responses. I was today on Samsung store and they take it for diagnose. I'm little aftraid only that this isssue is not so obvious and could be hard to find.
