it seem your partition is encrypted.
try re flash the stock firmware first.
then, you could try flash the custom recovery again.
or u could study the stpe here, though it done on redmi 6A:
Fix HardBrick Redmi 6A (no recovery and no fastboot, only black screen)Fix without need Authotization stuff
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally I could fix my redmi 6A after suffering hardbrick. I couldnot enter to recovery neither to fastboot mode. My redmi 6A just give me a black screen with vibration on...

had the same problem yesterday, i downloaded the stock rom than i used fastboot boot twrp.img (didn't work for the first time) thn i tried fastboot boot orangefox.img (didn't even work for the first time) but after a few reboots and un/on pluging suddenly it wokred and booted twrp than i wiped everything and flased the stock now everything is fine.

made some progress and was able to flash a custom xiaomi eu rom trough fastboot commands and so phone boots to miui perfectly.....
a problem that remains is when i boot twrp from fastboot whit "fastboot boot recovery.img" command,is that twrp shows 0mb internal memory

do you habe a/b virtual partition? or perhaps you should mount that partition

try to mount the target partition
if u couldnot mount it, then it might be encrypted
in my case to this issue:
-go into twrp
-wipe the user data partition
-wipe dalvic, cache, system, internal
-then, flash the custom rom
-reboot
hope that work for u too.

Help me please :( LineageOS bricked my phone :(

Hello guys
I have a problem
Description:
I have ZUK Z2 and its great phone. I installed latest LineageOS ROM which have OTA updates and yesterday prompt a comunicate that I can update my phone so i clicked to upgrade. But then system is not launching and there is only twrp mode so it's bricked i tried to restore my phone with method described here but it did't work :/ QFIL says" Download Fail: Sahara Fail: QSahara Server Fail: Name of directory is invaid (last one I translated because it was written in my native language). I checked FAQ and i restarted my computer and phone, i changed name of directory to ZUK and it still doesn't work :/ Then I found that ulocked bootloader may be a problem so I tried to lock it but it doesn't work either :/ i wrote adb reboot bootloader and my phone runs fastboot mode but command "fastboot oem lock" don't work, it says only "waiting for device" and nothing happenes :/
Could you help me to unbrick my phone? i'm very desperate
Since you can enter the recovery mode go to mainscreen of twrp, wipe system, data, dalvik etc (but do not wipe internal storage!!!) and then install again lineage, google apps, and addon superuser (in case you want root)...
Regarding QFIL method. I have flashed twice the ZUK orginal software with unlocked bootlader and the bootlader remains unlocked also after the flash. I guess you cannot flash with QFIL and you get the Sahara notice because it is either:
+ you have installed the wrong ZUK drivers or
+ the rom folder name is too long or it is something else.
QFIL method will wipe your entire phone though. So i would try first to wipe with twrp and if it does not work then try QFIL.

I tried to flash ROMs via twrp like you wrote but still only TWRP starts and nothing else happens :/
Hi, what if I cannot get the the phone connected to CFIL? It always starts into twrp as soon as the phone is connected to the PC and it doesnt matter what buttons I keeped pressed.....
You wrote it wrong, when you try fastboot you need to use "fastboot -i 0x2b4c" otherwise it judt wont work and will always showing "waiting for device" hope you can get futher now.
Sorry, I dont got your point...
Hi
Head for zukfans.eu
Theres a thread and plenty of guides
Yes, there are guides but no one works for me so I came here for help :/ i'm desperate and i don't know what to do now :/
Are you able to boot into twrp? If yes, then wipe system, data, cache and flash rom again. If not, then boot into fastboot mode by holding down both volume button and connect your phone to PC. Once you're in the fastboot mode you have to flash recovery using the
Code:
fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash recovery <recoveryname.img>
, after flashing boot into recovery and allow for system modifications if a dialogue pops up and flash any custom rom with latest gapps (but you still need to wipe system and data) .
This worked for me on the advice of one of the users at zukfans:
Go to TWRP recovery terminal commands, and enter the following:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/soc/7464900.sdhci/by-name/misc

Question installing custom recovery when device has AOSP recovery

So I installed a A13 AOSP rom (Evolution x) via orangefox and when I rebooted to recovery orangfox was gone and now I'm on AOSP recovery. I tried to "fastboot boot" TWRP but the phone restarts on black screen for several seconds then restarts again to system. and when I enter fastboot thro AOSP recovery and try to boot TWRP it just fails (says unrecognized command boot). how can I flash custom recovery? i was thinking of trying sideload but with fastboot not working properly, I dont want guessing and rather ask someone with more knowledge with AOSP recovery and what could be causing fastboot not working properly
PS/ AOSP recovery is not detecting otg, and when choosing apply updates from internal storage it says it cant mount /data

It is because flashing rom also flash the recovery packed along with the rom, and it will replace your old recovery. To prevent it you need to also tick on the reflash ofox option when you flash a rom, which is too late in your case.
So, if you want to reflash ofox recovery, download and extract the zip file, locate the recovery.img in the extracted folder, reboot to bootloader and issue this command:
Code:
fastboot boot /path/to/recovery.img
then reboot to recovery with the command:
Code:
fastboot reboot recovery
and your device will temporarily boot into ofox recovery
The last step is to flash the recovery to ramdisk to make it permanently, you can find this option in ofox settings.

Thank you mf this worked! Booting twrp through fastbood just gave me black screen so I didnt think that booting Ofox would be any different but it actually booted Ofox recovery and I flashed it no problem. If anyone's going to attempt this make sure to backup your data before cause you'll need to format data

Installation:
Phone in fastboot mode
Cmd:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Power shell
./fastboot boot twrp.img
then in Twrp go to Advanced -> flash current TWRP.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REC VERSION
Install with TWRP.
"only boots through cmd, but can't flash it"
Use "fastboot boot twrp.img", then "Install RamDisk" in TWRP
But you don't have to install TWRP or OrangeFox to use them. You can also just boot into them.
Modern phones don't have Recovery-partition anymore, Recovery is merged into Boot-partition now. Fastboot can only replace partitions and not inject things like TWRP into it, so you have to install TWRP through a recovery, because those can patch a partition (inject TWRP).
You can flash MIUI Recovery ZIP (full, not incremental) to get back to MIUI. xiaomifirmwareupdater.com has official MIUI ROMs. You can use "adb sideload" in TWRP to install a ZIP
But since you say you wiped all or most partitions, I'd say use Mi Flash and Fastboot ROMs instead...

This is what i use to get out of boot issues, infact i have been playing around with the A13 ColorOS (OnePlus 8 Pro Port) today and after a clean install i was faced with rebooting into fastboot, i was able to access recovery but no way of installing a different rom even after changing slots A/B and stuck in FASTBOOT mode.
My get out of fastboot for free card is to install Xiaomi.eu V12 via fast boot then i`m back to almost official firmware,
I hope you sort it, I've been there many times

You could've avoided making this thread by simply searching how to install TWRP on Poco F3, on YouTube.
There are so many videos about it...
Hi,
Did you have a go using my method,
1. Put your F3 into FASTBOOT mode,
1a. connect to your PC.
2. Run temporary Orangefox using, RUN_TWRP-Orange Fox FIXED.bat file.
3. After Orangefox re-boots back into recovery, from the hamburger "Menu" select, flash current Orangefox.
I`ve had some strange issue with orangefox, to fix it i reset to defaults from with-in "FOX ADDONS" in the Menu folder.
If you are struggling with installing a new rom then i would advise to go down the Xiaomi.eu V12 clean install.
Good luck.
Try my method!
1. Connect your POCO to a PC, and hold the volume down button.
2.Download the MIUI ROM from
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.
xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
2.5.Open MiFlash, select the MIUI_13.X.X folder and click OK.
3.Select flash_all.bat or flash_all_lock.bat depending if you want your device locked again or still unlocked.
4.Click Flash
5.After rebooting, you are done!
Oh wait, you dont want to flash MIUI again? Try this:
1.Download twrp_3.7.0_a12 (BUT IF THAT DOESNT WORK) download twrp_3.6.1_a11
2.Open CMD, (in the platform-tools folder) and type this:
fastboot flash boot twrp_3.x.x
(the twrp_3.x.x being the img name)
or
fastboot boot twrp_3.x.x
3.When in TWRP, erase data. REMEMBER, NEVER WIPE SYSTEM OR PERSIST!
- Tap on Wipe
- Format Data
- and for good measure, Also Swipe for a factory reset.
4.If you want to flash a custom rom, depending on what rom it is, im gonna use PixelPlusUI as an example:
adb push PixelPlusUI_2022_10_23 /sdcard
(the rom being the "PixelPlusUi_xxxxxx_23"
Its recommended to flash the newest firmware too:
adb push xiaomi_firmware /sdcard
And flashing it that way.
5 - Change the slot from A to B or from B to A depending on what you saw when you were flashing the ROM.
"FLASHING A/B ZIP TO INACTIVE SLOT: X"
6. After flashing a ROM, go to Advanced > Flash Current TWRP
7. That's it! - Reboot! but if that doesnt work, reflash MIUI.

Question Hard brick Poco f3 no recovery

Hello community, first of all I clarify that I am using the google translator.
As the title says, my poco f3 has a hard brick, I was trying to flash the miui global rom via fastboot(stock rom was global miui for turkey) but an error occurred in the process (the same as attached in the image), at that moment I got scared because the phone did not start the system.
The bootloader was obviously unlocked, I tried to recover with XiaoMitool but nothing, I couldn't flash super.img either in Xiaomiflash, then I decided to download its stock rom and redo the process but it failed.
Before all this I had tried to install TWRP or OrangeFox but none could be installed, I only got to the TWRP boot but the option to flash the current TWRP did not appear and it did not recognize the internal memory and the OTG with the zip. Right now it only shows the POCO logo and goes directly to fastboot mode.
I'd appreciate your help.
Edit: It does not have the recovery stock

try booting twrp via fastboot and then format data.
Obviously you'll lose your data, but it might give you access to your phone back.
Good morning.
Try to enter with quiet fastboot mode, both in twrp and orange fox, it's the same process. Put the phone in fastboot mode and then open minimal adb.
1. Put the fastboot devices command, the serial number of your mobile should appear on the command screen.
2. Put the command fastboot boot orangefox.img or twrp.img, take a good look at the file you have downloaded, to make the boot easy, it has to be an .img image and not a zip file.
3. If you can get into both fastboot and orangefox, please format the data.
4. Try to flash the miui stock rom with the same process where the error appeared, remember that this rom (it worked for me) has to be the rom for the poco f3 fastboot, since there are 2 versions (I think I have seen this) one which is fastboot and another which is not.
LUCK!

Hello, i had already tried to boot with twrp.img but without success, the good news is that I have already recovered it and the solution was as simple as taking the flash_all.bat from the rom and it could already be in any version of miui.
What I don't understand is why it hadn't worked with XiaoMitool and Xiaomiflash, and I still can't install TWRP because it doesn't recognize internal memory and OTG.
Anyway thanks for your help.

Glad you got it sorted, When installing a MIUI stock rom remember to put the Firm wear folder on your C: Drive and remove any spaces from title,
