Hey guys,
So for the past one month have been facing an issue with my OnePlus 9 pro. While switching between profiles, my phone hangs and lags for a minute or so.
1) installed Oxygen OS 13 from 12 but issue still persists
2) cold reboot fixes the issue for once and then issue starts reoccurring
3) have 8gb+5gb ram. Tried with just 8gb as well.
4) have used around 80gb of storage and still got around 40gb free.
5) not a lot of 3rd party apps installed
6) deleted cache of almost all apps in both profiles yet issue still persists
7) don't see too much ram usage but I believe issue is related to memory
Any suggestions?

So my GF got Galaxy nexus 3 months ago, I rooted it and switched a few roms (PA,CM) but I kept her Xylon rom. Last 2 weeks she is complaining about really slow performance, so I took a look at it and it was horrible , phone refused to wake up sometimes or waked uped after 1minute, application were slow (without FC), often system was ok (i could slide notification shade) but applications were loading (black screen) for up to 1 min. I thought it was because of Xylon beta so I wiped it and flashed stock 4.2.2 rom. But it didn't help. I spent about 10 minutes in Setup wizard only because it was horribly freezing. I also enabled Strict mode but it rarely flashes. I suspect it is something with reading/writing speed of phones memory. What should I do? Can it be fixed?

did you flashed all stock images including userdata?
did you wipe cache partition?
what is your available storage?

I remounted /data , it is bug caused by emmc chip. Found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2029246

Hey guys,
I have quite a big issue with my maguro for a few months now and I'm getting very desperate...
I have MASSIVE performance issues - the phone lags as hell, apps stop loading, my keyboard gets stuck - hell, I can't even write a Whatsapp message without my phone getting stuck for like 2mins... It's reaaaally annoying and can drive me crazy sometimes.
First I thought it's just a ROM or kernel issue - but I was proven wrong. I changed ROMs and kernels and tried so many and the problem persists. I did factory resets en masse and flashed the newest factory image like 3 times - the problem persists.
I hope someone does have an idea what can cause my problems. I just can't stand this lag anymore... So pls help me
Not sure which version of android your running.
But my GN runs much smoother after installing/running these apps from play store:
Greenify
Lagfix
Send from GN running ParanoidAndroid2.57 Jellybean 4.1.2 w/Tablet Mode
Maybe a silly question but did you check your storage space? I had this with stock ics and read somewhere that storage consumption greater than fifty to sixty % causes these latencies. After just cleaning up the memory the issue was fixed.
I've noticed a number of issues since I upgraded to Lollipop yesterday.
1. Memory usage seems to increase significantly, pre Lollipop I would have around 800 meg free after a restart, since upgrading to Lollipop that's now dropped to around 400 meg free.
2. Clock issues, the clock in the top right hand corner of the screen can freeze on lock and when unlocked is the same time prior to the lock and just sticks at that time until I enter the clock setting and tick and untick the 12\24 hour setting, I also get this issue with the clock on the notification drop down.
3. Random app crashes, with black screen and then the app closes no prompts or anything, this has happened with games and also Chrome and Mail, This only started happening since the update.
4. Language and Input settings menu crashes every time it opens.
Anyone else have these or similar issues and anyone have any ways of rectifying the issues?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Jon

Just did a fresh reboot of my N7 on 5.0.1 (non LTE / 3g model) - 5.0.1 install was done via wireless
Settings / storage / running apps information
System: 214MB used
Apps 274MB used - 2 biggest users are Settings at 112MB and Google Play services at 81mMB, Google keyboard at 32MB with the rest at 20MB and under
Free 1.3GB
Have not experienced any clock issues or app crashes / black screens
Has been a stable and happy tablet
I usually have about a gig free. I still go by the "unused ram is wasted ram." I wish it used more. If it's needed android will free it up. Unless it's a leak.
hi dudes, i got a question regarding my htc m8 which is currently at stock with a fresh stock Android 5.0.1 and latest OTA update.
Since i have this phone i recognize very very slow installation of apps i'm loading from the market place. For exampla an installation (not the download) of a 10mb app takes about 50 seconds until the app is installed. On my Asus Transformer Pad TF701 with tegra 4 soc, this procedure takes just 3 seconds until the installation is done.
this is now the third m8 i got (because of accidentally leaving the phone on the roof of the car or other minor bads ) and all three m8 phones are showing same behavior. This equals in ages of time when updating a lot of apps especially if the apps are even bigger then 10mb it takes even much longer)
So my question to u guys is if there is any workarround or fix for a none rooted phone or may some specially setting i dont know about. Or is this problem even known? i know about the predecessor of the Transformer Pad, it had a bery very slow internal memory and the pad was showing simily problems but i cant believe that this not very old htc m8 has similar problems..
any suggestions?
thx
I have the same issues however i believe it is more to do with the app as i find its not on all apps just mainly ones which either have alot of security ie facebook or have been moved to external storage
Hey Guys, newbie here!
I've been using CM13 for a while now. Recently my Spotify app started freezing and crashing my phone when accessing my 64GB MicroSD card. I can not reproduce this however since it seems to happen randomly. But when Spotif or my SD card are uninstalled i do not get these freezes.
I did a clean install of the most recent CM13 Nightly and the Experimental CM14 release, which did not yield any results other than corrupting my data file system. After fixing this, I now run in the Experimental CM14 without Spotify.
If you have ans Idea I would really appreciate the help from you guys.
*Edit* This is about the LG G3 D855 which I am using with a 64GB Sandisk MicroSD card.

Wow, reading that post, it's almost as if I posted it myself.
I have similar issues as you. But I'm using stock. I thought it was something wrong with my new 128gb microsd. I even gotten a new battery just in case, as I see other people pointing to these random issue to battery issue.
Until I realized Spotify somewhat actively caches stuff on my microsd card, plus the earlier issue of using network data in the background even when not actively in use (killed my wife's data usage for that month).
Issues I've seen are phone not waking up from black screen (or taking a really really long time to wake up), issue playing the next song with my regular mp3 player with songs stored on microsd, spotify freezing, bluetooth freeze on connect, etc.
Just recently I've just tried to clear all data/cache on the spotify app (took a long time, I clicked the button and went to sleep). Then as soon as I'm back on spotify, I go to settings and tell it to cache on phone sd instead of external. So far my phone seem to be running better. Will have to wait a few more days to see how it goes. Hope this helps (for myself as well : ) )
