Android 9 Pie update - why it's not available on MIUI site and in OTA updater?

Hey, so I wanted to install MIUI 10 with Android 9 on my Xiaomi Mi6 6/64 and I was not able, instead I was forced to download ROM directly from Xiaomi servers (bagota.d.miui.com), also recovery image was not working under Orange Fox 9.0 so I used fastboot, and I got it.
But I'm little scared about that Pie update have bugs and so thus this is why it got rollbacked? I'm not sure, but maybe really it got rollbacked? But why there is no any information and I was forced to do my own research via google?

Maybe it's working only in OTA but OTA updates were not working for me since I got Magisk and unblocked BT? I got "wait minute or two" error when on Android 8 I choosed "Install from selected package" but I don't got it working tho.

Bugs Xiaomi.eu Miui 12 Android 11 version on global version of redmi note 9s

I strongly advice anybody to not update their redmi note 9s Curtana to the latest Xiaomi.EU version of Miui 12 based on Android 11.
I had several, quite nerve wrenching bugs even though I clean flashed.
-telephone: I could not be heard and the other side could not be heard on the phone. I guess this had something to do with root with magisk as I tried out my phone after flashing the update and it worked, but after having set up the phone with all apps and root, the said problem arose
- picture in picture mode got extremely buggy and the overlay sometimes hid the video box and made the whole screen unresponsive
- the phone feels quite slow
I downgraded to the last Miui 12 version based on Android 10 and all is fine again.
As I said if these things above are things you'd need often on your phone I'd suggest you not to update.

My phone is joyeuse global rn9pro and Im in the same boat.
How exactly did you downgrade without loss of data?

Question HydrogenOS?

I have a Oneplus 9 pro which I bought from a chinese company in Hong Kong - Bludiode.com - I have been told it has Hydrogen OS on it but nothing says Hydrogen OS anywhere? It has just updated to Android 12 with a couple of updates recently. Is there any way I can check what it has on it. I always have been able to use Google and everything has worked well but the latest Android 12 has stopped the Amazon Alexa app working properly. Not fantastically worried but hey.
Where should I go from here? Some say change to OxygenOS but not sure if this is possible. Should I change to ColorOS and then OxygenOS? I'm in the UK.

You will need to search for a11 downgrade zip from a12. Le2125 is global varient so you need the global downgrade package found here

I'm a complete novice so please be gentle!! It says downgrade from OOS12 to OOS11. I don't have OOS12 - It's Hydrogen so is this the right file?

I have got as far as downloading the 2 files to the root BUT
The Local Upgrade as well as other system update options are not visible under the Update Settings page. So how do I install these? They don't install automatically and there is no way that I can see to install them?

Rename the download to. Zip put in root storage

Question OxygenOS 12 C.60

May 19, 2022:
OnePlus is starting rolllout of a new system update for the OnePlus 9 series. It comes with version C.60 and measures over 1.5GB.
The latest OTA brings a couple of multitasking improvements and adds some connectivity and gaming features. However, the May security patch is still not available for the phones. You can read the full changelog below.
Convenience & efficiency
You can now open up to 3 apps in floating windows at the same time in Split-screen mode and switch between Floating window and Split screen modes

As always, this OTA will be incremental. It will reach a small percentage of users initially. A broader rollout should start in a few days.

First rom with no gaming throttling.

India only. Miss the days when OnePlus would release one global rom or atleast global and India the same day.

It showed as a full rom over here, so you can jump directly from 11 to c60 and no need to go to 47 anymore.

It should work because Oxygen C.60 is 1 month newer.
But if you want to be shure do it like me.
I was on ColoOS C.61. I use OxygenOS rollback rom (This Wipe all in youre phone). Them got 2 updates up to C.47. End 2 days ago i got C.48 european...

I wonder if I flash the india C.60 ROM on my EU L2123 will it transform my device into an indian variant, or will it stay EU L2123 ?

My EU unit LE2123, i flashed the Global C48, no issues there. Yesterday when i flashed the Indian C60 the device is no longer certified under - Google PlayStore. Hence can't setup new cards. Cleared the Google Play services and playstore cache and data, rebooted the device but the issue still exists.
Any solution?
Device is non rooted and bootloader is locked.

It will still stay LE2123, but device may not be certified anymore. I did the same, rest all works well, only the device certification issue.

There is no workaround for that unless you Root your device and add the universal safety net magisk module and hide root afterward in Zygisk from play services and playstore.

thanks for your response, i'll wait for the next full OTA zip for either of the regions and then flash it. I don't wana root my device as its my primary driver.

Still no update other than in India for almost 2 weeks now. OnePlus really seems to only care about India now. All of their phones seen to have this issue now.

Anyone running this on a global 9 or 9 Pro unit? I flashed it and had to use the TMO COS/OOS data retention fix since it thought my device was dual SIM but I lost 5G and WiFi calling on T-Mobile in the process. Just curious if anyone was able to get these things working before I go through the arduous task of a factory reset. If not, I can live without them for now.
Edit: Cannot pass SafetyNet either. I have tried universal SafetyNet fix, I have tried Shamiko, and I have tried props config. I have only ever had to use the universal fix before so no idea why I can't pass the CTS Profile.

Unfortunately no one says if it is global or not

I think theres no global ColorOS for OP phones right now. It's sad becouse ColorOS is just better and more fluid than OOS12 in its current state (and ColorOS gets more frequent updates too)

COS is bloated as hell though. Have to log into Oppo Cloud just to be able to install APKs if the built in scanner determines it's any kind of a security risk (and you can't disable it), constantly phones home, etc.

i had c63 i think..even after debloating is not smooth.
still oos11 is the best out there

I use ColorOS from C.34 to C.61.
Flashed on top OxygenOS.
After debloating i have only 2 apps that i can't uninstall & i have to disable/Force Stop the every time i start the phone.
Small problems, 2 :
1.Notifications not working for non chinese (google) apps. Not a big issue for me.
2.Alarm does not sound with the phone power off. (Start the phone and ring). This is important so you can wake up in the morning to go to work.

How strange, I wonder why eu ( le2123 ) only received.c61 ( yesterday for me in the UK)

The alarm now works for me ( when phone powered off). They worked around it by powering the phone on before ringing the alarm. I came from full stock to this current le2123 .c61

Because the UK is an EU phone and therefore has Oxygen OS. C.61 is the latest.

But i was on C.61 and did not work for me, or i miss that and roll back to OxygenOS & then i sold the phone..
