You have to flash raw firmware from fastboot mode, edl mode flashing is when you have your phone totally bricked, if you are able to access fastboot mode then there's a link for raw firmware which you can flash in fastboot mode here's the link for raw firmwarehttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1ogbQeeNDRPFCb9jl3kpRDK_DmsneQ0xL/view?usp=drivesdk

A hard reset wipes the data partition, so if your system partition is corrupted from an update or something, it won't help. When you flash it, it rewrites most the partitions.

Any day, man.
"The phone is not allowed" Isn't this Cause 6?
In Touchwiz (stock) ROMs, check with *#9900# > cp log > copy to SD card > look at the internal storage > log > err > litmuslog. If it shows #Cause:6 in this file, this is most commonly sent for imei blacklists, contact both mobile network operators.
No work after firmware reflash .
Any suggestion?
Need help.
The Samsung answer is take it to service.
But why when with nougat working and with oreo didn't!!!!!!
I was at samsung service only to ask ,the answer is :the probably cause is software or the mainboard !!!
And they said for Romania there is 9 firmware!!
At sammobile site was only two, where do i get the rest?

You can also grab firmwares from samfrew (SM-A320FL). Do you get any error code besides "the phone is not allowed" like "phone is not allowed MM#6" or "phone is not allowed MM#2"?

Alright. As you said while roaming I guess your IMEI number got blacklisted in that country you are. If you bought your A3 new and same error occures without roaming then only Samsung support center can fix it.

Emergency calls only. HELP!

Hello
I bought a used s9 a few months back. It had dual sim. In "about phone" it said G960F and was on android 9. A few days ago, I wanted to flash android 10 so I downloaded firmware for G960F, booted my phone in download mode and SURPRISE. The whole thing was in Korean and of course it was a G960N model. So I downloaded firmware for G960N this time and flashed it. Everything went perfect but when the phone booted up, It had no sim service.
I've tried everything I've found on the forums so far related to emergency calls only or no sim service.
Any kind of help would be appreciated. I have no sim service for 5 days now.
Things I've tried so far:
Flashing my phone again with android 9 stock firmware, which I can't do anymore as I've updated the bootloader lol.
Flashing custom roms
Changing csc from SKC to KOO
Flashing OXM CSC as I live in Pakistan
Flashing different modems and basebands
Nothing worked
Try flashing back a G960F android 10 firmware.

Done all of that. No luck
OK, let's go back to beginning: you've bought the used phone. 960F never was (as factory leaving) dual sim phone.
so, let's start from the beginning:
contact the seller and ask what the hell have you bought (if it was any variant of the S9 at all.. somehow I doubt it).
2nd: write down the IMEI and serial number, and check with Samsung if this configuration ever existed (if not, what I suppose, the IMEI/sn info about the REAL model can give you a hint what have you bought).
Having the above info in hands, find the "service firmware", 5 files ROM for your device and try to flash it.
If it will not work still, I'm afraid you have two options:
1. check IMEI against stolen devices with your carrier.
2. Go to Samsung service asking for help.
(if it was any variant of the S9 at all.. somehow I doubt it).

Well mostly it isn't a fake mediatek phone as it will not even have a download mode.
Probably he bought a shi**ily refurbished phone with it's internals mixed from multiple versions of the s9, in the best case.(a Frankenstein variant of the S9)

I'm going to solve this mystery for both of you. The phone he bought is indeed an S9. Here in Pakistan, 'software' guys in shops can convert these to dual sim models with some z3x and Chimera f*kery.
As for why his phone isn't working - it is because the phone had a tampered IMEI to bypass local custom charges levied on all imported phones (insane charges, doubles the price of these kinda phones). Once he flashed a new image on his phone, his IMEI status would have become NG instead of OK, which prevents the phone from accessing any networks.
Solution is to visit the same 'software' guys, ask them to 'patch' the phone. It is a 5 minute process, requires root (which these phones already have).

Firmware need

Hello to all
I need SM-N976N/DS (Note10+ 5G Dual SIM) Android 11 firmware.
DS (Dual SIM) models are not listed in sammobile.
I found SM-N976B/DS firmware somewhere but lines (SIM Cards) does not work. So no call.
Any help will be highly appreciated...
Thanks,
Use Frija (or samfirm) to find and download the firmware. Following thread provides necessary info: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-25-feb-21-galaxy-note10-sm-n975f-ds.3957812/

Thank you.
But that's not the DS (Dual SIM) version
In Frija you can find N976N But when write /DS nothing
As far as i 'm aware the single sim and dual sim are the same firmware and has been for a long time.
I know the thread is for another phone type. Just use it to help yourself to download Frija. Frija allows you to download from Samsung servers. Type in the correct information in Frija to select and download the latest firmware for your specific device. Use Odin to flash it onto your N976N.

I have not had a phone with the imei status as NG. ( *#0011# - service mode ). Usually means that the EFS partition is corrupted.
The only methods i've seen to change this state is to root your phone and use something like chimera or z3x.
Or take it to a repair shop to see if they can fix it.

Main problem: I lost 2nd IMEI. It only shows one now.
My model was SM-N976N/DS but I installed SM-N976N rom.
Lost one IMEI. other was not working. I achieved to fix it. Now works.
And I installed a Dual SIM rom also SM-N976B/DS. (Mine is originally N796N. But couldn't find)
But no luck...

Try searching for these terms on google. "deadboot repair" "edl" "firehose". Usually after flashing a deadboot repair package the imei resets by reading the chipset. Goodluck.
